After all these years, I am still involved in the process of self-discovery. It's better to explore life and make mistakes than to play it safe. Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.

The galleries are full of critics. They play no ball, they fight no fights. They make no mistakes because they attempt nothing. Down in the arena are the doers. They make mistakes because they try many things. The man who makes no mistakes lacks boldness and the spirit of adventure. He is the one who never tries anything. His is the brake on the wheel of progress. And yet it cannot be truly said he makes no mistakes, because his biggest mistake is the very fact that he tries nothing, does nothing, except criticize those who do things.

For Everyone The Life Journey
For everyone the life journey is different though a journey that for all of us must end
Along the way we meet some who do not like us But we also do make many a good friend
And on the journey we learn many lessons we've been learning from life since before we did crawl
And every day we live in life for us a lesson and that applies to you and me and all
And on our life journey we make many mistakes and for every one of them some price to pay
But we must struggle onwards towards the finish and every dawning for us a new day
For many life's road more uphill than downhill it is a hard journey to undertake
We have the good days and we have the bad days and every dawn to a new challenge we wake
Tomorrow is another day they will tell you and tomorrow in it's own good time will come
But tomorrow will not be for everybody today's will be the last sunset for some
For every one of us life's journey is different so different for you as it is for me
And our thinking on most things are quite different we all look at life so very differently
For everyone the life journey has to end sometime but where or when we are not meant to know
For some it will end before they reach their prime years and for some when they are walking slow.

Who Will It Be
Who will take care of you when you get older
When you are walking down life’s road
Who will be there, with love and also care
When you, yourself are old.
Who will hold your hand and walk with you
When you are walking down life’s road
Who will be at your side, to be your guide
Who, but only you will know.
Who will carry you if you become to tired to walk
When you are walking down life’s road
Who will carry your weight, and wont hesitate
Who could be that proud and bold.
Who will stay at your side and will not leave you
When you are walking down life’s road
Who will wipe away your tear, and soothe your fear
Who will comfort your mind and soul.
Who will be there with you till the very end
When you are walking down life’s road
When you see the mistakes, that you did make
When your life unto you will unfold.
Who will be there to tell you goodbye
When your journey ends on life’s road
When you take those steps, with sadness and regret
Who will be the one with love to show.

Living My Life
I’m living my life the way I want to
No one’s going to tell me what to do.
I’ve got to make my own mistakes
And if it’s wrong then it’s my fate.
You’ve already lived your life and like most
Mistakes you’ve made quite a few
That is what we all seem to do.
I’ll make mine so I can’t pass the blame
And I’ll hang my head in shame.
I am young and a teen, and there is
So much in life to be seen.
I’ll make mistakes, I know that’s true
But it’s something that I have to do.
I love you mom and dad, and I know you care
But you can’t live my life
It’s just not fair.
You should know for you went through the same
And on your parents “ did you pass the blame? ”
The dress, the talk, the way we look at life
We do not think about it once or twice.
We just do what’s in that style
And we’ll grow out of it in a little while.
Trust your children “ mom and dad”
For your future is our plan.

Human II [Don't Turn Your Back On Me]
I know this was my fault but
How much should it cost
To make things right
Do I have to pay for life
We all fall short sometimes
And I'm guilty of that crime
But I just wanna make you see
That you can still believe in me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
Speak to me, let me know how you feel
If you feel like you can hold on and be strong
I will never leave you lonely
I cry sometimes 'cause I make you cry
And that ain't right
I won't make the same mistake twice
Baby please forgive me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
No I can't erase the wrong I've done
But I hope you can give me another chance
'Cause if you were me you would want the same
And I'd give that chance to you
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me

Gracie
Gracie takes the bottles from the porch where you have left them
There are age old dregs of wine you never shared
Drivin' down the motorway with all the best intentions
She's a picture of perfection with her cotton colored hair
But its you she thinks of in the hours while she's awake
She takes her lipstick from her case to make a smile
You she thinks of when she thinks of her mistakes
Regret's an open road that stretches out for miles
Coffee pots and bottles cups and all of this disorder
She soaks the plates in the dishwater 'till it's cold
Her reflection in the windows of the stores around the corner
Walk beside her while she's striding down the road
But its you she thinks of in the hours while she's awake
She takes her lipstick from her case to make a smile
You she thinks of when she thinks of her mistakes
Regret's an open road that stretches out for miles
La la la la la
But its you she thinks of in the hours while she's awake
She takes her lipstick from her case to make a smile
You she thinks of when she thinks of her mistakes
Regret's an open road that stretches out for miles

Denial
Our greatest weakness.
Is called denial.
Defending our faults.
Like living on trial.
From weakness comes strength.
Abandon all fear.
Confront all you are.
Make flaws disappear.
Make God your leader.
His spirit your guide.
Turn your wrongs into rights.
Changing you from inside.
We all lack the faith.
From the greatness He brings.
We are denying The One.
To ourselves we do cling.
We embrace the creation.
Not the creator himself.
This lie, it will rob you.
From a life full of wealth.
His life is abundance.
Our lives are deceit.
We deny what is good.
We live in defeat.
We look in the mirror.
Yet a window is clear.
We deny what He offers.
Pride's what we hold dear.
The world offers no answers.
But we continue to seek.
Solutions to questions.
From those just as weak.
We think He gets angry.
When we make our mistakes.
But in fact He is crying.
As he watches us break.
He just wants to fix us.
Like a good father would.
But we do what we want.
And not what we should.
Denial is a robber.
Pride is the thief.
A life of abundance.
Now a life full of grief.
Turn His tears of your pain.
To His tears of your joy.
The author of life.
Will fix what you destroy.
It's us we are hurting.
When our Savior's denied.
He knows the answers.
So don't look at your pride.
Fill the holes in your life.
Make it full and complete.
From the holes that He has.
In His hands and His feet.

Road To Nowhere
I tried to hang on for as long as I could
But now I can see that it just aint no good
Our love it has wasted
Right down to the core
Whatever we had
We dont have anymore
Youve got to get off a road to nowhere
Youve got to get off a road to nowhere
Well I tried and I tried to make things work out right
But I guess were two people who cant help but fight
Your eyes they are open
And oh so are mine
We both need our freedom
Dont you think its about time
Im trying to get off this road to nowhere
Im trying to get off this road to nowhere
(lead)
Thank you for the good times weve had in the past
But we both know enough to know good times dont last
Baby youre just no good for me
And Im no good for you
Lets not waste our time talkin
We both know what to do
Weve got to get off this road to nowhere
Its time to get off this road to nowhere
Youve got to get off this road to nowhere
Weve got to get off this road to nowhere

Human Nature
Why dose human nature
make life a misery
Never really knowing
the paths you chose to lead
For some their lives are easy
for others not so good
The consequences of actions
often blind the good
At times in life you feel
right choices you have made
But then you start to see
those choices weren't meant to be
The regrets that often stem
From bad choices in one's life
Makes you feel unworthy
to live a better life
So how does one learn
to forgive one self's mistakes
That has hurt so many beings
and made them weary of your plight
Is it true what people say
You learn from your mistakes
are you careful not to make
another foolish mistake
So now I take a step
Towards healing all my regrets
and hope that one day
I'll be a better human being

Full Of Life Questions
life is full of unexpected,
life is full of challenges,
life is full of bitterness,
life is full of strife,
life is full of contentious disputes,
life is full of revenge,
life is full of hatred,
life is full of mystery,
sometimes.....
life is full of sweetness,
life is full of joy,
life is full of happiness,
life is full of hope,
life is full of dreams,
you can have all this life when the soul is in body, and you will be able to feel everything because this is real life to creatures who call the''human''
Have you thought to life after death? ? ? ?
If You
If you cannot ask for forgiveness
Can you forgive,
If you cannot say that you are sorry
Do you enjoy the life that you live,
If you cannot cry a tear
Do you expect tears to be wept for you,
If you cannot feel any sorrow
In judgement then what will you do,
If you will not admit your mistakes
Do you point out the errors in others,
If you will not listen to good
Do you let evil triumph over another,
If you cannot tell the truth
Will you only listen to lies,
If you will not walk a righteous road
A crooked road walked will be your prize,
If you do not have the faith
Can you hope or could you believe,
If you do not have any morals
Could you believe in what you do not see,
If you cannot keep a promise
Can you not keep an oath,
If you cannot be honest or even trusted
Then sadly you will lose both,
If you must walk a road in shame
Can you be joyful with the things you do,
If you live a life of guilt and pity
Then how you are seen, is up to you.

To make no mistakes is not in the power of man; but from their errors and mistakes the wise and good learn wisdom for the future.
OK, the wonderful thing about soccer is, a football is a perfectly round object, and it doesn't make mistakes. The player using it makes mistakes. And the more you use it, the less mistakes you make.

I'm Still Going To Continue To Be Me
stop trying to change me,
into who you want me to be,
i don't want to make,
the same mistakes you did,
look where it has gotten you,
you don't like it,
you so unhappy with your life,
that you trying to make me,
just as unhappy,
misery loves company,
let me grow and be myself,
stop trying to hold me back,
just because you afraid,
to chase your own dreams,
i don't mean to sound mean,
but it true,
let me make mistakes and learn,
our lives are not the same,
what you don't understand,
i might understand,
we been through different things,
we will never be the same,
i want to be me,
but it seems like i am held back,
from doing what i want to do,
it will be nice to have support,
but instead i'm left with,
judgemental remarks,
but that's okay,
i now see clearly,
so why you too busy hating,
i'm still going to continue,
to do me,
it what i good at best.

Early Works - Indecision
We are all searchers
some try to capture a childhood
we never had the way we wanted.
I am like Macbeth
a man who could never make up his mind
until it is or was too late
the consequence is the good things,
the important things pass us by
without our even realizing.
We are all full of indecision
a human frailty that has been
inbred within us for years
being so we are fallible
when we make mistakes
only with some
life is one big mistake.
We try to prove our worthiness,
but worthy of anything is any man?
The question hangs over us
like the sword of Damocles.

‘A Good Deed'! !
Pebbles and her hero friend were in shock,
When they called at the local pet shop.
Lip-More and his pal' were enraged,
Seeing all those animals caged.
Some thing had to be done,
So the pair hatched a cunning plan.!
Lip-More didn't need any one else for the job,
He trusted his mate Pebbles the Dog.
In and out, SAS style, during the daylight Sun,
All was prepared for operation ‘freedom'.
Suddenly the job came around too soon,
Then the operation was on one afternoon.
They causally entered the shop door,
Masks and Capes were worn by Pebbles and Lip-more.
Our hero, his crow bar was ready knowing what he had to do,
Pebbles had practiced her vital job too.
She snarled her teeth and kept the staff at bay,
Whilst Lip-More, the cage latches he started to bray.
She barked and growled like a ‘wind up' torch a bit,
Lip-More continued to liberate each cage and cabinet.
There was one hell of a noisy racket,
Squawks, barks, meows, hisses and a swearing parrot.
Pebbles was doing her part and kept her cool,
Some of the staff tried to run but Pebbles was no fool.
She headed them off and stood at the door,
None of them dared to try any more.!
Lip-More completely emptied the place,
He double checked every cage and case.
Our hero wished the shop staff 'good day',
Pebbles ‘marked' her patch which was the same in a way.!
Out the door, the ‘pets' were now running free,
Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, and reptiles fled from captivity.
Pebbles lead the charge of freedom on to the streets,
Followed be Parrots, Budgies, Canaries and Ferrets.
Snakes slithered as fast as they could along the ground,
Above were Parakeets and Macaws each with a screeching sound.
Along with Gerbils, Mice, Dogs and Rats,
Love birds, Stick insects, and baby Cats.
Spiders spun webs as they fled,
The reptiles stopped awhile in the Sun and smiled instead.
Pebbles rallied the animals and orchestrated,
With her barks, growls and tail she directed.
Lip-More redirected the traffic,
So the animals wouldn't get harmed.
And reassured the worried public.
Some were getting quite alarmed.
After all there were creepy crawlies around their feet,
Snakes and Rats on the street.
Lip-More still was directing the traffic,
He said to Pebbles 'You've been terrific.'
Our hero had set up road blocks,
Pebbles hurried along the herds and flocks.
The animals were jumping, flying and crawling free,
Scattering in to the wild and liberty.
Pebbles and Lip-more stood at the top of Concord,
As all the animals ran to freedom down the road.
Pebbles and Lip-More stood. chins in the air so proud,
Lip-More picked up his pal' and shouted 'freedom' so loud.
Pebbles looked at him as if to say; 'Job well done, '! !
Lip-more said, 'Yep we pulled it off, it was a good one.'
Pebbles rejoiced with some beef and cheese,
Lip-More raised a glass of Rum and said, 'Cheers.'

Cart, Carter and a Carte Blanche!
He collects pebbles into his dilapidated cart
The plastic red bucket perhaps from a junk yard it seems
And luckily no license needs for the unending road?
I asked him; 'Papa! Why all these pebbles? '
'Yes I understand and everybody asks the same question,
Certainly I pass this clue and do not bother please!
I make my own tomb with the help of these round stones
And this white blank paper which I have signed below
That's for my humble epitaph and I hope you finish it? '
Yes I do Papa! ; 'Some collect bare lands for future prospects
And some collect money for pleasure but very few
Those who collect friends and that's why I scribbled few lines hereto! '
