If they're not temperamental, I don't want them. It's in the nature of a great artist to be that way.

The First Artist and Author.

The first artist painted the sky with colors, such beauty,

Look at those sunsets, and the mountains, such reality;

The mountains, have shadows, of splendor that only the Master can do,

Yes! It's God who was the first Artist, and He also taught me too.

The first great artist painted the colors on the sea,

Blues, greens, aquas, Only one could do this you see;

And when there is a storm near, the sea goes so dark blue,

Yes! God is the first great artist, to paint it for me and you.

The first great Artist, loved to teach David to write poetry,

And also king Solomon, writing words of such beauty;

Oh such magnificent works, of color and in each word,

Yes! There is only one who could do this it is the Lord.

Then. We see in every rainbow, and in each shell as well,

Look at the colored sands, and in every bird, it does tell;

Then look at each animal, and also the petals of each flower too

Then as you look at these, , give Thanks for doing it for me and you.

Creation is dominated by three absolutely different factors: First, nature, which works upon us by its laws; second, the artist, who creates a spiritual contact with nature and his materials; third, the medium of expression through which the artist translates his inner world.

The Great Goddess Of Nature

The great Goddess of Nature is the one true God for me
I feel i sense her presence in every bush and tree
You may dismiss me as an atheist since to your God i do not pray
But what you think of me is your own business and with me that seems okay
The mother of the Seasons Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring
The great Goddess of Nature her praises i must sing
The great Goddess of Nature is around us everywhere
The foods of her creations with all of us she share
We buy and sell her produce and the land we claim we own
Of the great Goddess of Nature the only God I've known
Her sky, rivers, lands and oceans we see fit to pollute
But what we do to her to our own selves we do that only seems the truth
The great Goddess of Nature she is all around me
And everywhere i turn to look her beauty i can see.

While one should always study the method of a great artist, one should never imitate his manner. The manner of an artist is essentially individual, the method of an artist is absolutely universal. The first is personality, which no one should copy; the second is perfection, which all should aim at.

Leave Me To Mother Nature

I don't want to live for to be frail and old and kept alive by pills
And taking the most unnatural drugs for to combat my many ills
Leave me to Mother Nature my fate she will decide
Since the Reaper will find us all one day from him we cannot hide.

The greatest people we know of their fame was known World wide
They loved life, their achievements great but they grew old and died
The longest human life seems brief in the eternity of time
And time outlives the artist's fame and the great poet's greatest rhyme.

With pills do not prolong my suffering of suffering set me free
Leave me to Mother Nature she knows what's best for me
Human bodily parts like an old car engine with age slowly decay
Leave me to Mother Nature when I've known my better day.

Leave me to Mother Nature of me she will take care
An ageing body as we know is beyond human repair
Us Humans like Nature's Seasons to life we come and go
But Mother Nature lives forever the only God I know.

Liz no more

Words may prove to be less
She had kind and unforgettable face
Those memorable lines may stay for ever
Her role as an artist may always be cheered

Hardly in any decade have you had such beautiful flower?
Not for outer beauty but for kind and memorable nature
Memory may fade away but not her contribution
It was really a golden period which really marked revolution

Liz you will be shining star on the horizon
Many hearts were broken and won
You will be remembered for your outstanding performance
Beauty and honor will go side by side with romance

Great souls appear rarely on earth
They will be mourned gravely on their death
Leave behind a great mark for mankind
Rarely we come across or find

Liz you were on lease from the God
You have departed for the good
Someone else may try and take over
As an artist you never desired any cover

You Great Goddess Of Nature

You great Goddess of Nature I see the beauty you create every day
In saying you are the only God I know of I do mean what I say
'Tis said that you and Mother Nature are one and of the same
Goddess of Nature or Mother Nature you go by either name
The beauty that you create is for all to enjoy
I have loved the beauty you create ever since I was a boy
If others have their own Gods well that's okay with me
Each to their own belief as some do say for that's how it ought to be
You great Goddess of Nature of you little I know
Your great and ancient waterways to your huge oceans flow
The Goddess of the Seasons the creator supreme
You do not have an equal that's how to me 'twould seem
You great Goddess of Nature though to you I never pray
My love for you grows stronger with every passing day.

Amongst The Quiet Of Nature

Amongst the quiet of Nature with wooded hills around
The harsh cawings of the ravens the only living sound
In the nice Winter sunshine it is a pleasant day
From life's many cares and worries a place for to hide away,
Of an Earthly Utopia 'tis not hard to visualize
Where Nature in all of her splendour is beauty to the eyes
I too am part of Nature like all creatures great and small
And memories of Nature's beauty are marvellous memories to recall,
An artist on her canvas would try to capture such a scene
And I enjoy remembering the beauty I have seen
And the unmistakeable sounds of Nature on a sunny Winter's day
Like the clear flute of the magpie on trees not far away
A lovely day in Winter of around eighteen degrees
And in the stony valley there is scarce a puff of breeze.

A Great Master Poet Wrote

A great master poet told
how nature interceded
and interrupted a architect’s design
and made it’s own adjustments in time

but that the master designing artist’s eye,
his mind, comprehended
the difference and from it found
a brilliant answer to where
the problems were

and yet a man of the book
took it upon himself
to declare the designers work
as a copy of strokes
made by the hand of God
which lead to the ruination
of that master architect.

Now if we follow this argument
every poem, even every thought,
every painting
about nature’s splendour
or even the beauty of the human being
or whatever,
you could connect to God or His creation,
even when we sing words, paint pictures
and create art
it does not belong to the author
but to the Lord God and his church.

l’Envoi
If you take the artist away
from designs, verses, paintings, music
(from whatever art)
it will not be there
and it will not exist,

which leaves me to conclude
that some men of the holy book
do claim in the name of the divine
that which does not belong to them
or their church.

A Nude Artist

A Nude Artist

he says he is a nude artist
because he is naked when he paints

such nakedness has
nothing to do with being a nude artist

a naked artist who paints a cat or a chicken
is not a nude artist

there is no nude cat
thyere is no nude chicken

just paint a naked woman
and he will be called a nude artist

an artist is not an art
he must know that

Of Life And Of Nature

I knew just as much about them fifty years ago
Of Life and of Nature as now I do know
Though from our dealings with people we learn every day
We learn as we live as some are known to say

But Nature of course is a different thing
And though the praises of Nature the Poets may sing
And though from living near Nature insights from her we do gain
Her secrets from us as great mysteries remain.

Even since the invention of the first motor car
Human kind in technology have gone so far
But the greatest are mere mortals just like you and I
And great minds are born and great minds must die.

The achievements of human kind doubtless are great
But Nature out of nothing something can create
And about Nature and Life today fifty years ago as much I knew
But each day from living we learn something new.
