I've done scenes in films that I felt like the performance was better in certain takes, but they couldn't use them because it didn't match what the person was doing when they came around and the camera was on them.

I Feel Possessed
She said I could never do that
But I know you can, you are in my dream
We are one person not two of a kind
And what was mine is now in your posession
I could feel you underneath my skin
As the wind rushed in
Sent the kitchen table crashing
She said nobody move
Or Ill bring the house down
I hardly know which way is up
Or which way down
People are strange God only knows
I feel possessed when you come around
It was one of those times
Wished I had a camera on me
Six foot off the ground
Well I know how that sounds
Look above you and beyond me too
That kind of view dont need an explanation
Im not lying, not asking for anything
I just want to be there when it happens again
I hardly know which way is up
Or which way down
People are strange God only knows
I feel possessed when you come round
Whenever you invade my home
Everything I know flies out the window
Its above you and beyond me too
I dont want an explanation
But Ill be there when you bring the house down
I hardly know which way is up
Or which way down
People are strange God only knows
I feel possessed when you come round
People are strange
I feel possessed when you come round

Smile For The Camera
I see you standing out there in the hall
You seem so nervous waiting for his call
I focus on you
I reach for the lens
The shutter snaps again
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera never ever lies
Ive been watching you with
Eager hungry eyes
For sometime
(smile)
I hold my lens in the middle of the night
Visions of you dancing in the strobe light
Up on my wall is a picture or two
Of someone who looks like you
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera is my wide lens
(smile)
You know the camera is my private eye
I got color transparencies
I got black and white
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know that

Cameras never ever lies

Ive been watching you with telephoto eyes
For some time

Be, Here, Now
‘The camera does not lie’;
yet the truth rests in yourself..
Here’s this photo of one, said
by those who know, to be a saint;
(no one to say smile now please;
no one to say just say cheese..)
here is one who knows that all and everything
is God; so looks into the camera and beyond
and at all of us, and at all of all of us
as God; in goodwill; Godwill;
looking Lordward to the Lord in you and me.
Who can value such a photoed shakti..
shower of grace in just one smile
from one who gives all of himself,
to the camera as the God in us; ‘developed’, multiplied
towards infinity, and rolled around a printing press,
flashed in binary upon computer screen.
We as we look at it become all truth
and like the camera, cannot lie
about ourself: we are perfection.
Before the camera was,
I AM. click.

Strange Magic
Youre sailing softly through the sun
In a broken stone age dawn.
You fly so high.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Youre walking meadows in my mind,
Making waves across my time,
Oh no, oh no.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Oh, Im never gonna be the same again,
Now Ive seen the way its got to end,
Sweet dream, sweet dream.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Its magic, its magic, its magic.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic,
You know I got a strange magic,
Yeah, I got a strange magic,
Oo-o-o-oo, strange magic. (fade)

Sometimes I take the watch, or I take the shoes, but usually the souvenir is to take the life you had with those directors, or the crew - the camera person, the lighting person. When you finish a film it's like a little death. You had a family for a bit, and you finish the movie and you probably will never see each other again.
Strange Pursuit
Intersecting love lines
Drew us closer every day
Always kept your distance
When you felt my presence near you
Love keeps on rolling over
Fly in retreat
I would follow without shame
A stupid spud staggering to the flame
To be had and rehad
Be a victim of the pain
Now its strange, its so strange
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
Its a strange pursuit
I come running like a fatboy
In lead shoes
But like a fatboy
Huff puffing after you
Its hopeless to hope for
The one thing that Im wanting
cause its strange
Its so very strange
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
Its a strange pursuit
You know its getting tough
When youre getting real rough
Its a strange pursuit
Darling, Im dazzled
But you know Im too frazzled
Its a strange pursuit
Makin my mind up
While it lies in little pieces
It s a strange pursuit

The Unseen Shrines
The shrine where only one person can reign,
That is formless, figure less, unseen but felt and ours,
It is simply elusive, safe, treasured, but monopolized,
it is formless, figure less, unseen but felt and ours.
The shrine where only one person can reign,
Light this shrine with the wick of kindness,
The kindness, the size of life long,
Oil of understanding to fuel it regularly,
As Tolerance suffocates the person in it,
Let us understand and love each other,
The shrine where only one person can reign,
Never lighten this shrine with spirited lamps,
Smoke it with Incense of weeds and drugs,
The shrine that is figure less,
The shrine that is formless,
The shrine that is unseen,
The shrine that can be felt,
The shrine that can be enjoyed,
The shrine that can be worshiped,
It is nowhere else, it is in our heart,
That is built for the person whom we love.

Good For Your Soul
Have you ever felt that somehow
You were not yourself
That your body was the same
But everything around you wasnt right
And images so strange and foreign
Flooded in like raging water
Have you ever been in love
With someone you hardly knew
Whereas every time you closed your eyes,
You saw this person come alive
It kept you wide awake at night
You felt like you were burning up
In pain, you want to scream
Then you passed out in a dream
Chorus
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Just once or twice is good for your soul
If you dont stop, youll lose control
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Every lay there half asleep all hours of the night
With some nagging demon tugging at that tiny bell
Inside your mind
When suddenly that strange idea
Bursts into an inspiration
You grab for it and then
The whole thing slips right through your fingers
Chorus
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Just once or twice is good for your soul
Its good for your soul
Its good for your soul
Its good for your soul
Its good for your soul

When You Wake Up Feeling Old
When you wake up
Feelin old
At this piano filled with souls
Some strange purse
Stuffed nervous with gold
Can you be where you want to be?
Walk down any street
You can find
Look at any clock telling time
Sing some strange verse
From some strange song of vines
And youll be where you want to be
I know I can't sing
Until she brings the song to life
And I blend with kings
Id never change a thing
Who knows anything
I don't know
There are so many things
I must leave alone
Some strange person is calling you their home
Can you be where you want to be?
Can you be
Where you want to be?
Can you be
Where you want to be?
Can you be
Where you want to be

Lonely Comin Down
I woke up this morning in a strange place
I looked into the mirror at a strange face
Then I looked for you but you could not be found
And then I felt the lonely comin down
I walked across the room to the empty bed
Saw the imprint on the pillow where you laid your head
The presence of you still lingered all around
And once again I felt the lonely comin down
Then I felt the lonely dripping down my face
As I realized no one could take your place
I wondered where the love had gone that we had found
And then again I felt the lonely comin down
I wondered where the love had gone that we had found
And again I felt the lonely comin down
Mmm...

Second Chance
Sometimes we do something without thinking and it turns out bad
One mistake can rude your life
Unless you get
Second chance
To see the person you love in same class with you again
You feel it’s your time to make it right
It never too late to do it
You get that feeling you felt before and it all coming back
You can’t talk to that person again and stop looking at that person
You feel all butterfly coming back too
You feel nervous and feel that person is right for you
Second chance
To show that you still care for that person and want to be with that person
If she or he still have feelings for you, you hope and pray it work out
You finally got that person you want and if that
Second chance
Doesn’t work out then it never meant to be after all
You have to move on
Second Chance

Strange - Reba McEntire
vs.1 I lay there feelin' sorry
For myself in a bed of Kleenex.
Stuffin' chocolates in my mouth,
Talkin' to my best friend, cussin' my ex.
He broke my heart, felt like the world had ended.
I cry myself to sleep, thinkin' I can't get over him.
(chorus)
Strange,
Talk about luck,
I woke up when the sun was shinin'.
Strange,
I 'oughta be in bed
With my head in my pillow cryin'
Over us, but I ain't,
Ain't love
Strange.
vs.2 Got half a mind to spend
My whole paycheck
On one of those dresses.
Those strapless, black ones
That are so famous for
Teachin' lessons.
Drop by his place,
Pick up the rest of my things.
He'll tell me I look good,
I'll laugh and say how isn't time.
(chorus)
Strange.
(chorus)
Strange,
Talk about luck,
I woke up when the sun was shinin'.
Strange.
Strange.
