Cynosure 1314 Initial Version
Soul's sensitivity alone cannot secure
the battle against fear where jealousy and greed
may daily undermine ambitions fine, immure
the soul behind walls high, to tie where freedom's need
is great, must greater grow, - our world has ills to cure.
Thus channelled energy is needed to ensure
a healthy harmony, space helping spirit feed
upon the way not waste through haste or immature
blind curiosity, potential strong indeed:
not eat itself, indwell, self sell - pride premature.
For premature expression harvests self-suppression,
egocentricity its only sinecure.
Here ends this sonnet's session on an upbeat to freshen
impressions and procure a smile as cynosure :)

Even as kids reach adolescence, they need more than ever for us to watch over them. Adolescence is not about letting go. It's about hanging on during a very bumpy ride.

Everyone by now presumably knows about the danger of premature optimization. I think we should be just as worried about premature design - designing too early what a program should do.

Perhaps a modern society can remain stable only by eliminating adolescence, by giving its young, from the age of ten, the skills, responsibilities, and rewards of grownups, and opportunites for action in all spheres of life. Adolescence should be a time of useful action, while book learning and scholarship should be a preoccupation of adults.

0277 Rumi the Sufi puts you straight
'It seems from time to time - if not always -
that all that stands between my present self,
and what I hope to be, is...just myself...'
'But you are not the trouble - you're the cure! '
'Well, that's all very fine; but I feel locked -
I just can't free myself from all my past;
the mind can't see escape from habit's grasp...'
'But you are not that lock; you are the key! '
'If only I were - but I won't name names -
I'm sure it would be easier for me
to be my self; at least, feel much more free...'
'Well, that's too bad - that's just not how it works!
Just see and love your self; and know this true:
there is no self more beautiful than you! '

High sensitivity cannot secure
soul's struggle against fear where envy, greed
may undermine ambitions fine, immure

is great, must greater grow, - our world has ills to cure.
Focus forthright's needed to ensure

Avoid both pride's possession, prepossession

One Runaway Religion
Ignite the barren clay, I need
some rare elements
to tie a thread to the moon.
Upstaging the sun.
Not aspirational he was stripped
to become radical
like the dark blood of a white soul.
Pentadactylous was losing the big toes
under the burning skies
of unmindful eyes. The system
was collapsing. One premature
innocence dies defore the guilt
was proved, in the howling night of terror.
He unrolls the thighs to show the stitched
corn. The seeds step out to prove
the adolescence of crime.

Premature Outbursts Later To Be Cursed
On automatic are dramatics,
With performances begun.
Those combat addicts,
Choose to pick their fights...
To declare what they have won.
Only,
To find themselves birthing...
Premature outbursts,
Later...
To be cursed!
On automatic are dramatics,
With performances begun.
Those combat addicts,
Choose to pick their fights...
To declare what they have won.
Only,
To find themselves birthing...
Premature outbursts,
Later...
To be cursed!
Only,
To find themselves birthing...
Activities done,
That can't...
Be reversed!
Premature outbursts,
Are later to be cursed.
Premature outbursts,
Are later to be cursed.
Premature outbursts,
Are later to be cursed.
Premature outbursts,
Are later to be cursed.

Second adolescence
It is a well-written fact
that one’s old age is a second childhood.
It is a fact to be written
That one’s middle age is a second adolescence.
In second childhood, lethargy looms; one limps.
In second adolescence, energy blooms; one jumps.

Very Fine Love
(bob dipiero / jim photoglo)
I never knew how good love could be
All Id ever known was make believe
So many times Ive played the fool
Baby, til I met you
Now everything has fallen in place
You can tell by the smile on my face
For every lonely tear that Ive cried
Im that much satisfied
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, fine, very fine love
How did I ever live without your love?
Its the only thing Im certain of
No matter what Im going through
I know I can count on you
You are more precious to me every day
Life is better now in every way
You dont have to lay the world at my feet
You have made my world complete
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love, oh, oh
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, so fine, very fine love
Ive got no apprehensions
Youve got the best intentions
Weve got a, weve got a, weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
A very fine
A very fine love
Very fine love, ah, ha, ooh, hoo
So fine, hey, so fine
So good, so good love

Cancer For The Cure
The kids are diggin up a brand new hole
Where they put their deadbeat mom
Grandpas happy watching video porn
With the closed caption on
And father knows best
About suicide and smack
Well, hee hee hee
Cancer for the cure
Cancer for the cure
Buckle up and endure now baby
Cancer for the cure
ol blue eyes is back again
But he was never here in the first place
A heart attack may be something to fear
But take a look out back
cause courtney needs love
And so do i
Well, hee hee hee
Cancer for the cure
Cancer for the cure
Buckle upand endure now sweet thing
The cancer for the cure

She Works Hard For The Money
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Onetta there in the corner stand
and wonders where she is and
it's strange to her
some people seem to have everything
Nine a.m. on the hour hand
and she's waiting for the bell
and she's looking real pretty
just wait for her clientele
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Twenty five years have
come and gone
and she' seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in
they really seem to need her there
It's a sacrifice working day to day
for little money just tips for pay
But it's worth it all
just to hear them say that they care
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She already knows
she's seen her bad times
she already knows
these are the good times
She'll never sell out
she never will
not for a dollar bill
she works hard
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Aint No Cure For Love
I loved you for a long, long time
I know this love is real
It dont matter how it all went wrong
That dont change the way I feel
And I cant believe that times
Gonna heal this wound Im speaking of
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure for love.
Im aching for you baby
I cant pretend Im not
I need to see you naked
In your body and your thought
Ive got you like a habit
And Ill never get enough
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure for love
There aint no cure for love
There aint no cure for love
All the rocket ships are climbing through the sky
The holy books are open wide
The doctors working day and night
But theyll never ever find that cure for love
There aint no drink no drug
(ah tell them, angels)
Theres nothing pure enough to be a cure for love
I see you in the subwayand I see you on the bus
I see you lying down with me, I see you waking up
I see your hand, I see your hair
Your bracelets and your brush
And I call to you, I call to you
But I dont call soft enough
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure for love
I walked into this empty church I had no place else to go
When the sweetest voice I ever heard, whispered to my soul
I dont need to be forgiven for loving you so much
Its written in the scriptures
Its written there in blood
I even heard the angels declare it from above
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure,
There aint no cure for love
There aint no cure for love
There aint no cure for love
All the rocket ships are climbing through the sky
The holy books are open wide
The doctors working day and night
But theyll never ever find that cure,
That cure for love

Summertime Blues
Well Im gonna raise a fuss
And Im gonna raise a holler
About workin all summer
Just tryin to earn a dollar
Well, I went to my boss
Who governs me
He said, no, dice, bud
You gotta work late
Sometime I wonder
What Im gonnna do
There aint no cure
For the summertime blues
Well, my mom and papa told me
Now you better earn some money
If one of you is gonna go
Ridin next sunday
Well, I didnt go to work
I told my boss I was sick
He said, you cant use the car
cause you didnt work a lick
Sometime I wonder
What Im gonnna do
There aint no cure
For the summertime blues
Gonna save two weeks
Gonna have a fine vacation
Gonna take my problem
To the united nations
Well, I went to my congressman
He sent me back a note
It said, id like to help you, hon
But youre too young to vote
Sometime I wonder
What Im gonnna do
There aint no cure
For the summertime blues
Now there aint no cure
For the summertime blues
Now there aint no cure
For the summertime blues

Love, Joy And Peace!
Love, joy and peace! !
Structure, future, mature, stature;
Claim, aim, main!
With the three colours around;
But, try to live a normal life.
Breech,
Premature!
But, try to stay healthy;
And be yourself always and be very beautiful.
Picture, premature, torture, fracture!
But, be yourself always and be very handsome;
And, try to live a normal life without hurting your neighbours.
