It isn't always necessary to achieve great things. Sometimes, just surviving is a great achievement.

Surviving
Look at us here today
Lots of talking with nothing to say
And if I seem somewhat afraid
Im surviving, thats all I am
Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving, thats my plan
Just surviving
Yesterday, I was sure
But today I dont know anymore
Thought I was brave till I saw
My frightened reflection in a dark corridor
Now Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving with an emotional plan
Im surviving, so please understand
Im surviving, surviving
There are millions of people out there
Trying to get by in a world that dont care
People smiling through clouds of despair
Protecting the wounds until they repair
Theyre surviving the best way they can
They are surviving every woman and man
Just surviving with an emotion plan
So keep surviving
Maybe its my shattered pride
Thats why I get scared of emotional ties
Dont let them in, otherwise
Youll smile like a fool
But youll be hurting inside
So Im surviving through the insecurity
I am surviving, I got hope inside of me
So Im smiling through all the insanity
Im surviving, surviving
I was moved by the way that you said
Dont be afraid, I wont leave you for dead
You took my soul and mixed up my head
You left me alive
You should have killed me instead
Now Im surviving, thats all I am
Im surviving to be a better man
Im surviving, thats my plan
Im surviving, surviving

Forgive us God
God is great,
When we achieve,
God is great,
When we succeed,
God is great,
When we’re accepted,
But oh!
We blame him,
When we loose,
When we fail,
It was our mistake,
We failed to behave,
We planned not plans.

We are the only country in the world that has taken people from so many different backgrounds, which is a great achievement by itself, but an even greater achievement is that we have turned all of that variety and diversity into unity.

SONNET: On House-warming
Oh, what a happy day it seems today?
House-warming function is about to start;
And people come with much good things to say;
A house, your own, you built per latest art!
Your labour hard, has brought you this great joy;
A time for fun and frolic, once again;
As kith and kin and siblings too enjoy;
An achievement, most wise and rather sane!
Congratulations on your achievement!
And many more good things must come your way;
A Home; it turns a 'House-warmed tenement',
Where dwells, a righteous family to pray!
But what about the soul-Abode of God?
So keep it pure for celestial reward.

Every great work, every great accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.

We have had such a letter movement on two occasions in Denmark when more than a quarter of the adult Danish population participated. Such an achievement, however, demands a really great effort and also a great deal of money.

A Big Question To Ponder!
Aim of all in the world is to win in all matters!
Is it enough if you succeed in getting a degree?
Is it enough if you work till retirement in the job?
Is it enough if you live long from birth to death?
What is the use of degree if you don’t get true knowledge?
What is the use of job if you don’t achieve anything?
What is the use of life if you don’t achieve satisfaction?
Sans knowledge, achievement and satisfaction life is vain!
Why are we caught between pleasure and pain to live so long?
What is the purpose of our creation in the world in particular?
This is the big question everyone has to ponder sooner or later;
There lies answer for all other questions to get truth to glory!
Don’t we feel it is a great waste of time not to have done so?
So, where does lie the mistake in the system we all operate so?

My Rondel
When I was hatred I was great,
While I, today, all things above,
Am great – great for I feel I’m love,
Great for with Lethe I share the fate.
Yes, mercilessness makes you great,
But high you fly, high like a dove
When nothing is your heart but love,
When mercy does your soul elate.
I know: all things bear sorrow’s weight,
Through life in ignorance we rove,
But every solace is in love,
And even if distress be great,
Elation is: forgive, forget.

What could be your achievement
What could be your achiement
Your position
Your property
Your power
Your managing skills
Your wealth
Your happiness
Your health
Your fame and name
And so many other skills
None of the above
These all will vanish
And will go into oblivion
Once you depart
And you are on the path
Of disappearing
As each second, minute, hour, day
Is racing you nearer
To that ultimate end
All the above
Will go and you are
Likely to be lost
From the memory of
Your own near and dears,
Leave alone the world
All your materialistic acquisitions
Are likely to lead to family feuds
And there will be total discomfort
Among your own people
History is replete with such cases
You will, in fact, be cursed
For all the earnings you made
Be it by fair means or otherwise
We have seen small possessions of
Even great people
Created warring situations
When they came up for auctions
With regard to their realisations
Materialistic achievement is no
Achievement at all
Your achievement could be that
Which will make others remember you
For years, if not centuries, ahead
This achievement is possible
With your thought process
A process that will help others,
When they put your thought processes into action
Can enjoy a living
In total harmony with the nature and surrounding
In total love for all living things around
In total peace and happiness
In total control of everything happening around them
In total satisfaction of having lived
Your achievement is
That thought process
Which you leave behind expressed
Written or oral
In an aim to help
The future world live
In totally fearless and free society
With no hatred or threat
With no doubts regarding their future
Your achievement is
Your positive, productive and futuristic
Thought process
And make all efforts
To earn this great treasure

life!
Life (2nd attempt in writing a song)
What is life?
Life is sometimes great
Sometimes nothing
Most of the time it moves in circle
Though many a time it goes straight
Life is very easy
When you relinquish your dreams
It is very hard
When you want a thing to achieve
What is life?
Life is sometimes great
Sometimes it is nothing
Name fame in life is a game
of pray and hard work
Some one may get some thing
By virtue of a good luck
But things will never come again and again
As life is never a fluke
If you want to achieve some thing concrete
You have to rub your butt against a thorn or prick.
What is life?
Life is very deadly joyful
When you succeeds in love
Life is a lake of tasteless tears
When you have a success in failures.

Whip
Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The fortune hunter
your uninterrupted lamp
has
torch light out the
parasite in their closet
like an erosion that called
the black pot of sacrifice of the perpetrator
Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The fervent farmer
your crude instrument
has
uprooted the unwanted ornament
in the vineyard
like locus waiting the planter
Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The lean steward
you never sleep nor slumber
in the quest of monitoring the
offender in the field like Nigeria
EFCC punching out the beautiful criminals
Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The no nonsense headmaster
with this
masquerade Cain whipping
the deaf prefect in the school of moral
The whip that caution the senior wife
is at the top of the roof for
YOU

The Great Oak
A great oak greeted me, with eyes glinting momentarily,
Joining us in the church, the pews soon were filled;
Hoping to achieve the best results, an axe was used
For the benefit of churchgoers, for their benefit.
Holding the ring was a couple of strangers,
Bride and bridegroom, in happiness soon.
The tree entered and confused us with its display,
Moving back again, answering us positively.
This great wedding has ended due to the great oak.
