I read a book

I read a book
Not to enhance my looks

I read a book
Maybe to avoid being a crook

I read a book
Not just to learn how to cook

I read a book
To ascertain how to defend my rights
Not just to acquire knowledge
Reading a book I pledge,
Is one of the roads to the light

I read a book
To understand how a kings territory
Is defended with pieces such as the rook

I read a book
So there will be no questions asked
When I count correctly what you took

I read a book
So that I play not ignorant
Now on life I’ve a different outlook

I read a book
So if I come up with all the right answers
I will know for sure it is not merely a fluke

Read A Book

Und wenn ich einen Wunsch frei htte
Ich wnschte wrden wir verstehen
Alle Schatten hinter uns lassen
nur weies Licht vor uns zu sehen
No hate, no fight hearts killing
I wish no trouble anymore
There's nothing more to tell about
There's nothing left to be decided
Just read a book
So, read a book about love (reaching love)
Read a book, read a book about love
Und wenn du einen Wunsch frei httest
Ich wnschte, wrdest du verstehen
Nur weies Licht vor uns zu sehen
And if we just should be together
oh, we could feel so warm an tight
All we need is only two of us
to show the world that we've decided to
read a book
to read a book about love (reaching love) ...
Take a look about yesterday
I guess you know
that you're here to stay
Read a book, ...
Read a book, read a book about love (rep many times)
Read a book, ... (rep till fade)

Nobody reads a mystery to get to the middle. They read it to get to the end. If it's a letdown, they won't buy anymore. The first page sells that book. The last page sells your next book.

Why Dont You Read The Book

Dont talk to the pilot
When hes flyin
Dont smile at the soldier
Hes on parade
Dont come creeping round, youll
Catch me cryin
No more talkin bout it
Its all been said
You drawn such a fine line baby
Learnin all the rules
Why dont ya read between them sometimes
You wont look such a fool
Why dont you read the book, why dont you read the book
Why dont you read the book, why dont you read the book
Why show all your aces
To the gambler
If he calls your hand
Youre gonna lose
Dont trust first impressions
Of a stranger
Private informations
Just tellin tales
* you draw such a fine line baby
Learnin all the rules
Why dont ya read between them sometimes
You wont look such a fool
** why dont you read the book, why dont you read the book
Why dont you read the book, why dont you read the book

Lost In A Book

SHHH!
don't bother me
I'm lost in a book

mixed up with
the complicated plots
and outrageous characters

when i'm lost in a book
I don't have to think
about my life

I'll get stuck in
a fantasy world
and never
have to come back
home again

one book
after another
I read, read, read

different places
different people
a new world

I start fresh
each time
I open up a new book

when i'm lost in a book
I am safe
no one can hurt me

I'm happy
when I'm lost
in a book

Charles Lamb

A book reads the better which is our own, and has been so long known to us, that we know the topography of its blots, and dog's ears, and can trace the dirt in it to having read it at tea with buttered muffins.

ReD

Able, are you -
To kill the I in me -
Remove, can you -
The thorns which corns me to fake, reborn -
Clean, will you -
My veins clustered with poisoned custard -
Addictions to the addiction -
Welcomed by my pain -
Axe my head, read what is read, read again -
Red is read -
Bloody to the end -
My blood reads -
I read red

Book of Love

You giggle and your white teeth show
Your eyes so bright and want that I saw
Your voice so honeyed reads for me a story
I listen in ecstasy so expectant my heart flows
Your flowery words read your heart, it's a story

I'm won by this book, my head in pillow
So sweet the lullabies of a mother's baby days
A longing with power overtaking a soul's clouds
Warm as nectar birds' nest in cold days
I'm in a fort and in comfort all in this story
Fold not the book, read it over and over, it fills my soul.

To Silence A Loquacious Woman

he is right
give her a book
so she may read
and be silent
for a while.

the problem is
she asks for another
book again
and to irritate you
using her wisdom
for revenge
she leaves the kitchen
and the marital bedroom
and read the book
somewhere in
a beach resort
sunbathing.

The Fairy Book

In summer, when the grass is thick, if Mother has the time,
She shows me with her pencil how a poet makes a rhyme,
And often she is sweet enough to choose a leafy nook,
Where I cuddle up so closely when she reads the Fairy-book.

In winter when the corn's asleep, and birds are not in song.
And crocuses and violets have been away too long,
Dear Mother puts her thimble by in answer to my look,
And I cuddle up so closely when she reads the Fairy-book.

And Mother tells the servants that of course they must contrive
To manage all the househod things from four till half-past five,
For we really cannot suffer interruption from the cook,
When we cuddle close together with the happy Fairy-book.

(Inspiration Poem) A Book Never Read

Living by the fire
Living to admire
Living down to the wire
Still the wheels don't turn
I think it is because I want it
Urn for it
The beautiful almighty
I will not pray
Not as long as I live day by day
How much does my soul really weigh?
How many sins can be forgiven?
The fog will eventually choke you out
Whine and pout all you want
It won't make a dent in my steel cage
Because it was built from pure rage
If Its not a stage
What am I going through?

Its just another page of my book never read

Words as stale as the food I was fed
Maybe it was how many times I have been dropped on my head
I plead guilty to an unwritten destiny
I lied to myself in a mirror straight to my very own face
Memories erased

It's just another page of my book never read

I can't be lead astray
Especially if I'm willing
It's not much different then stealing
A moral yeng then yang
A oh so perfect harmony
Keeping things on a even keel
Always questioning what is real

It's just another page of my book never read

I hold on so tight to my comfy bed
Such a beautiful night
The stars are glistening oh so bright
I turn off the lights
Sleep for the dreams of a tomorrow
We are all living on borrowed time
So I ask again where's mine?
A question that continues to go unanswered
Draw your own conclusion
It's another one of the deep dark mysterious illusions

It's just another page of my book never read
It's as if every word has never been said
It's just another page of my tattered and torn book that will be never read

On A Young Poetess’s Grave

UNDER her gentle seeing,
In her delicate little hand,
They placed the Book of Being,
To read and understand.

The Book was mighty and olden,
Yea, worn and eaten with age;
Though the letters look’d great and golden,
She could not read a page.

The letters flutter’d before her,
And all look’d sweetly wild:
Death saw her, and bent o’er her,
As she pouted her lips and smil’d.

And weary a little with tracing
The Book, she look’d aside,
And lightly smiling, and placing
A Flower in its leaves, she died.

She died, but her sweetness fled not,
As fly the things of power,—
For the Book wherein she read not
Is the sweeter for the Flower.

Suze Orman writes on financial success,
she helps you create a life of material
and spiritual abundance.
Suze has been on the #1 Bestseller’s list,
I’ve read her book The Courage To Be Rich.
In this book she states you need to have courage
not only to be rich, but also with financial hardship,
She also writes you need to nurture and respect,
respect your money for it will do the same with you.
For money has a real relationship with value.
Now Suze has a lot of wisdom,
She writes also on The Nine Steps To Financial Freedom.
In this book you see where you stand,
Real life situation that she prepares you for and to understand.
Now Suze’s has a show on PBS
it is called The Money Class.
People have paid off their house, and haven’t used
credit cards in 5 years, student wrote and he is sincere.
Suze speaks from the heart, that’s what sets her apart.
So become more financially secure,

A Very Fine Line

Many, many times in this life of mine,
I find we're all walking a very fine line.
We believe that what we all perceive is real.
But somewhere in my heart that's not what I feel.

Locked in this body, locked up tight
is a being I know that wants to take flight
away from the hum-drum and daily routine
that becomes what I experience as if in a dream.

Read the good book. It will show you the way.
That's what they preach in the church every day.
But the good book is filled with murder and gore.
It reads like a fairytale filled with folklore.

No, this brain I was given says to my mind.
'Get off the fine line or you never will find
why they tell you that most of your DNA is junk.'
The reasons they give you are nothing but bunk.

Open up your brain and you will see why
you have been told such a terrible lie.
In this great big universe that has no end
we, as beings will have to ascend.

The only way out is through love, not fear.
The fine line we walk will try to keep us here.
We must let go of our Gods and idols
and then we must eventually choose

to exalt ourseves in the Creation of Light
or stay in the darkness and lose.

I Wanna Do You Just Like I Read In That Book...by Talile Ali

i wanna do you just like i read in that book

sexual secrets, remember the book
of sexual positions and method's that cook
all flexing and naked delving into their looks
i wanna do you just like i read in that book
i wanna take you to bed
i wanna give you the look
i want us to grind till we're red
all hot and ready to cook
until i just can't contain
come on and do me right now
the ravages of my brain
come be my one who know how
throw me on top of the bed
love me up close and real hard
suck me until i'm lead
roast my extending manly art
come baby, feel me up
naked, no underware
your flexing loving cup
doin me right on the stairs
then dance around a bit
you baby all night long
licking your big fat tits
do me just like this song
the things i wanna do
i wanna do all this and more
whenever i'm with you
i want you more and more
let's live somewhere in the east
maybe in the south of france
i'll even settle for near greece
come babe, let's give it a chance
so babe, now you know the score
so let me get rich real fast
cause i ain't leavin you no more
and baby, i got the gas

peace
