The galleries are full of critics. They play no ball, they fight no fights. They make no mistakes because they attempt nothing. Down in the arena are the doers. They make mistakes because they try many things. The man who makes no mistakes lacks boldness and the spirit of adventure. He is the one who never tries anything. His is the brake on the wheel of progress. And yet it cannot be truly said he makes no mistakes, because his biggest mistake is the very fact that he tries nothing, does nothing, except criticize those who do things.

Nothing From The Almighty Do I Hide
The journey taken I've made,
Is not paved with purity.
Nor are my experiences free...
From temptating transgressions.
My choice to live the life I've been given,
Is just that!
My choice.
And adventure I will...
No matter who voices 'what' opinion!
I alone face obstacles I am presented.
And when those consequences come...
I am not one to run away,
In denial or allow myself to be subjected...
To a trial of those self righteous in the hiding,
Of their deceits.
To have others believe they live lives,
Without mistakes made!
I have made many.
I am not complete.
I am a work in progress.
And My Creator knows this.
And 'nothing' from The Almighty do I hide!
Nor do I wish to make the attempt to do so.
I am too much in love with this spirit...
To try to convince my life lived is perfect!
It aint.

Fear Not
Jesus Christ said, Do not fear, this because He’s always near,
Near to all who trust in Him, through His Spirit who lives within.
Though He died, He now lives, and a boldness to us He gives,
His boldness, for us to proclaim, the power of His risen Name.
The name by which men are saved, from a world so depraved,
And from this world, lost in sin, men are saved by faith in Him.
Through this faith in Jesus Christ, God gives to us a New Life,
Taken from the dark of night, we now live in the Savior’s Light.
We’re left to remain in this world, as His Disciple and a Herald,
With His message of Salvation, to be brought to every nation.
Preaching to all loud and clear, that Christ’s return is very near,
Holding forth that message of life, only found in Jesus Christ.
Fear in this life has no part, with Christ’s Spirit within our heart,
As believers witness for our Lord, pointing people to the Door,
God’s Door to life eternally; His Son who died for you and me.
Now today, with eternity in mind, all fears within are cast aside.
When in Christ we put our trust, a boldness He then puts in us,
But not a boldness of our own, but boldness from His Throne,
Though fear still comes our way, we trust in Christ day to day,
To fearlessly proclaim His Truth, this in spite of men’s reproof.

The wheels of time
The wheels of time roll around,
it dosn't stop for anyone
the wheels of time, for me it's almost done.
The wheels of time rolls around,
changes me with age
the wheels of time for my life a new stage
The wheels of time roll around,
life has passed me by
the wheels of time make me want to cry.
The wheels of time roll around
so many changes they bring
the wheels of time, for me going faster than a train.
The wheels of time roll around
another day gone, another day went by,
the wheels of time, changes in my life, I'll apply.
The wheels of time roll around
changes I need to make,
the wheels of time, chances I have to take
The wheels of time roll around
closing in on me,
the wheels of time, finally I'll face it with glee.
Second Thoughts
Relationships are analogous to travel.
On any journey travelers make mistakes.
Even the best laid travel plans unravel.
Ever wonder about applying the brakes?
Let’s pull over and look at the time map.
The past rehashes where we’ve been.
The present illuminates an emotional gap.
The future requires us to look deep within.
Take time to develop the individual’s skills first.
Sharing newly learned skills are how we start.
Long trips make even the best relationships thirst.
Drink deeply from the cup and fill your heart.
Two decide whether to continue the trip.
Every captain has a co-pilot at his side.
God didn’t give us an old slave ship.
Freewill serves each other on the ride.
Our journey is about to come to an end.
It didn’t have to end in such a tragic way.
Ultimately the couple must transcend.
My love remains a floral bouquet.
Relationships are analogous to travel.
On any journey travelers make mistakes.
Even the best laid travel plans unravel.
Ever wonder about applying the brakes?

Shadowed Life!
Praying mantis strike a good pose,
How much they eat, they won't be obese,
People of this insect kind, clasp their hands tight,
Looking up in the sky to find the answer for their fight,
People wear the clothes of poor not by choice, but by force,
People have the empty stomach not for diet, but have no food,
Barefooted people walking on the hot soil and cold ice mud,
The hands with no rings open the containers to find the air,
Straining under the angry sun for feeding the mouths,
Obeying the rules of the land, people are tamed,
Various mortgages chained their free spirit,
Scared of their own welfare, they like to be in the crowd,
Though they know something wrong, they have no voice,
To shout and cry for help and the hostile world,
Have dorms, but they have no time to warm.
Wheels are tied to the feet with policy brakes,
That decide for them when to rest and relax.

Wheels Are Turnin
Ive been sittin back quietly,
Watchin as my spirit fades.
As all of my attempts to do rightly
Get treated like some kind of terrorist raids.
Maybe I ask too much from you
Well I aint gettin too much in return.
Im doin my best to love you baby,
But the wheels are beginning to turn.
When youre cut down to the bone.
You bleed but it heals.
You hurt still you must carry on.
cus the wheels are turnin -- the feelings burnin
The thrills returnin
My soul is yearnin -- my heart is churnin
The wheels are turnin again.
Maybe Im actin irrational
Hope I dont hurt your heart
This whole problem is only geographical
I just need some kind of new start.
And if I cant get inspired round here,
Im going out to the world and learn.
Theres action in my soul tonight.
I feel the wheels are beginning to turn.
When youre cut down to the bone.
You bleed but it heals.
You hurt still you must carry on.
cus the wheels are turnin -- the feelings burnin
The thrills returnin
My soul is yearnin -- my heart is churnin
The wheels are turnin again.
I remember the last time I got on one of these rolls.
I learned all about the tolls that it takes.
I get something in my mind -- it begins to unfold
I get out in the cold -- I cant do what Im told
I get out of control -- I cant hold on to the brakes
When youre cut down to the bone.
You bleed but it heals.
You hurt still you must carry on.
cus the wheels are turnin -- the feelings burnin
The thrills returnin
My soul is yearnin -- my heart is churnin
The wheels are turnin again.

Wheels
(chris hillman, gram parsons)
Weve all got wheels to take ourselves away,
Weve got telephones to say what we cant say.
We get higher and higher every day,
Come on wheels, take this boy away.
Were not afraid to ride,
Were not afraid to die.
Come on, wheels, take me home today,
Come on wheels, take this boy away.
And when I feel my time is almost done
And destiny is in my right hand,
I turn to him who made my life so strong.
Come on, wheels, make this boy a man.
Were not afraid to ride,
Were not afraid to die.
Come on, wheels, take me home today,
Come on wheels, take this boy away.
Oh, come on, wheels, this boy away.

Deeds Done They Do To Leave
Don't you believe people make mistakes?
And should be forgiven for those they make?
'Sure.
I've made quite a few myself.
And not one did I make,
Was an intention to undermine someone else,
Consciously.
Nor did I,
With a premeditation done...
Inflict sorrow on anyone.
Those are not 'mistakes'.
That is a remorse received for a thing done,
Now bringing feelings of guilt and grief.
Feelings of guilt that brings one grief,
Is a payback.
And those are divinely distributed.
Mistakes can be corrected.
Heartaches and 'breaks'...
Are way beyond my jurisdiction to mend.
They require much prayer and faith.
And that is what I have relied on to keep my head up,
To protect from those of destructive forces.
So those who choose to say,
They should be forgiven for making mistakes.
And expect a forgiveness done...
Are 'consciously' approving their own devious activities.
That is the way I see deeds done they do to leave.
With expectations to continue their deceptions.
After an appropriate forgiveness has been delivered.'
Those are not mistakes.
And there is quite a difference.'

Miracle of Mistakes
For each adult who now stands tall,
How many times a baby’s fall?
The eloquence for which we reach,
Bought by a child’s stammered speech.
So not to err is not to walk,
And no mistakes would mean no talk.
Look deep in self for what it takes.
There’s no reward without mistakes.
To improve means being wrong
To find that place where you belong.
Upon arrival wisdom’s clear.
Mistakes have helped bring each one here.
For to learn is to fall,
Then rise again and give it all.
Each time that doubt interferes,
View the start of all your years.
Walks and talks could not take place
Unless mistakes helped carve their space.
From baby’s wisdom do confess.
With no mistakes there’s no progress.

Keep It Real
Excuse me.
I hate to annoy you!
'Oh,
You're not! '
Those people?
Those people that were taunting you.
About your abilities and lack of qualifications...
To teach and be a good role model for their children?
What has happened to them?
'Either attending funerals or visiting the prisons.
You know...
The ones seeking to identify appropriate role models,
For their...er, uh...children? '
You say that as a matter of fact!
'Oh,
It is!
And if you've noticed...
I've been in this same spot,
Watching them pass judgement.
But of late,
They seem to have stopped! '
You shouldn't let that hamper your progress.
I wouldn't let that drop!
'You asked me about the people who were taunting me...
Did you not? '
Yes!
'From your point of view...
Who would you say has made more progress?
And keep it real!
Although it seems like I'm not doing a thing,
Does it?
Here take this.
It's a copy of my book.
You can have it.
I'm working on a new one.
Entitled, 'There's Nothing Like Minding Your Own Business'
Especially if your business does not please.

Human II [Don't Turn Your Back On Me]
I know this was my fault but
How much should it cost
To make things right
Do I have to pay for life
We all fall short sometimes
And I'm guilty of that crime
But I just wanna make you see
That you can still believe in me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
Speak to me, let me know how you feel
If you feel like you can hold on and be strong
I will never leave you lonely
I cry sometimes 'cause I make you cry
And that ain't right
I won't make the same mistake twice
Baby please forgive me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
No I can't erase the wrong I've done
But I hope you can give me another chance
'Cause if you were me you would want the same
And I'd give that chance to you
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me

Road To The Stars
I am on a road of spirit that is animal,
The mammals all spend together their findings;
We have a trek for our adventure,
Finding and exploring is a blessing,
The real adventure stays as a bright star,
Evil-doers gain access to the stars
If good people invade them.
The road to another star is fought by everyone
Even the common man, even royalty.
The journey to the universe is like crossing
Many planes of existence,
Accepting them is a justice.
