Life Is Uncertain- And Because Of This

LIFE IS UNCERTAIN

Life is uncertain-
And because of this we live in anxiety and fear-

The strong shape the future as best they can
But even they cannot overcome all Time and Circumstance-

Life is uncertain-

Writing a poem is not knowing where it will end
Or the way a line should be stressed
Or whether it’s writer is right to write this now.

Life is uncertain
In the smallest and in the greatest things-

Our life our death-
What will be with our loved ones-

If some of us pray to God so strongly
It is also because we need help with that uncertainty –

Lonely as we are
Afraid as we are
Uncertain as we are-

We pray to God
To help us make our way wisely
In this uncertain world.

Murder Incorporated

Bobbys got a gun that he keeps beneath his pillow (oh yeah)
Out on the streets your chances are zero (oh yeah)
Take a look around you (come on down)
It aint too complicated
Youre messin with murder incorporated
Now you check over your shoulder everywhere that you go (oh yeah)
Walkin down the streets, theres eyes in every shadow (oh yeah)
You better take a look around you (come on down)
That equipment you gots so outdated
You cant compete with murder incorporated
Everywhere you look now theres murder incorporated
So you keep a little secret down deep inside your dresser drawer
From dealing with the heat youre feelin down on the killin floor
No matter where you step you feel youre never out of danger
So complicated you keep complaining some bones hurtin
I hear that you, you got dogged downtown, man it leaves your head cold (oh
Yea)
And everywhere you look life aint got no soul (oh yeah)
That apartment you live in feels like its just a place to hide
When your walkin down the streets you wont need nowhere there to hide
Now the cops reported you as just another homicide
I could tell that you was just frustrated from livin with murder
Incorporated
Incorporated
Everywhere you look now
Murder incorporated
Down on your knees
Murder
Everywhere that you turn its murder
Murder
Everywhere you look theres murder.

You know, people talk about this being an uncertain time. You know, all time is uncertain. I mean, it was uncertain back in - in 2007, we just didn't know it was uncertain. It was - uncertain on September 10th, 2001. It was uncertain on October 18th, 1987, you just didn't know it.

Three Cords

My life is all about three cords, for my entire life is The Lord's,
While in this very present life, God granted me a beautiful wife,
For she is one of two strands, while we're both in God's hands,
With Christ being the third cord, for in our Savior we're secured.

We are both secure in this world, as trials about us are unfurled,
Fully secure in the hands of God, while we're on the earthly sod,
While waiting for our Blessed Hope, God helps us to daily cope,
For He is our hope along the way, providing grace for every day.

Many times we do not understand, but, we're secure in His hand,
From God's hand we cannot fall, as He is The Lord God over all,
God is over each trial we face, supplying to us all needed grace,
Guiding both me and my wife, through all the trials within our life.

Our hope is not in what we see, but, in The Lord God of Eternity.
Focusing not on uncertainty ahead, but, on Jesus Christ instead,
As uncertainties we leave to Him, God's peace then dwells within,
As together we're in one accord, while totally trusting in The Lord.

This life prepared for both of us, is in the control of Christ Jesus,
Christ, who brought us both together, guides us now and forever;
We may not understand His ways, but, He deserves all our praise,
For we are both strands of a cord, sustained always, by our Lord.

Peace & Love, Inc.

Look at the world
It's a complicated place
And it's hard to keep the pace
You've got to wear a smiling face
But what we've got
Is a blue-light special on truth
It's the hottest thing with the youth
You've got nervers we need to soothe
If you've got to believe in something
Believe in us we make it easy
Peace and love incorporated
Shop around
See if you don't agree
We think it fits you to a "t"
And the best part is it's free
I believe
We got the market cornered this time
We can make you feel fine
It could impact your bottom line
If you've got to belong to something
Belong to us we'll make you pc
Peace and love incorporated
Peace and love
It's the newest cause by far
And we've got all the biggest stars
Get your politics up to par
Welcome... to peace and love incorporated

Seems Uncertain

It seems uncertain
I wish it was forgone
To know the version
That made life go wrong
Wish I had a clue
What rearranged our molecules
Mostly wondering
It seems uncertain
In times of trouble
Everyone joins a team
No one waves a flag
For all human beings
No ones excited
Unless they are divided
Someones going to have to give in
It seems uncertain
Id like to be
One of the faithful millions
But what I see
Is an excuse for the killing
Your denomination
Should be a private thing
How about a spirit
For all human beings
How could something well guided
Turn out to be divisive
Mostly wondering
It seems uncertain

Sonnet: Be wise

Just mind the present; future, God takes care;
Sometimes, we cannot bear ev'n today's yoke;
Most things in life are uncertain, unfair;
Why spoil your lungs by cigarette chain-smoke?

When foes are many and good friends are few;
A low profile is best to our vantage;
The Sky can't long maintain unfriendly hue;
Life is a battle, we must always wage.

Truth is one thing common to religions;
Love of mankind by God, they all depict;
Learn unity, amity from Pigeons; .
'Tis good man can’t his future own predict.

Why stress your mind and body premature?
A certain time, all things take in Nature.

Liberalism regards life as an adventure in which we must take risks in new situation, in which there is no guarantee that the new will always be the good or the true, in which progress is a precarious achievement rather than inevitability.

Uncertain

You tell me to find another.
The tone of your words say your uncertain.
The look you give as you say this,
tells me of your vaugeness.

I'm uncertain of why you do this.
When you know what there is between us.
Yet you choose the seperation.
I curse this uncertain turn of loneliness.

Is it because you're scared of what's so blatant?
The love we feel. Is it far too real?
You tell a lie, and then deny.
What I feel you hide inside.

I should believe the words you said.
Then I look and just see dread.
That your heart will never mend.
If we were and it ends.

I'm so uncertain of this truth.
When will reality break on through?
I hope you realize there's no better.
You're the sweetest woman since my mother.
I've seen them all, I've had a few.
All I really want is you.

It's so uncertain.
I may never know.
If you love me just tell me so.

None See Me Off

None see me off. Let those go home who will
Receive this blessing from a loosing heart
Let righteous deed secure you all good weal
Ye brought me up and gave me to one
who will not give you cause for anxious thoughts
I must now walk with my dear Lord of Life
Whom have I followed with inborn love.
If your love for me I give free scope
'T will cause delay.Be calm,allay your grief
who take each other by the hand secure
full purpose of this life - as Laws assert
we part for good; reserve for talk the past.
