I am not a cat man, but a dog man, and all felines can tell this at a glance - a sharp, vindictive glance.

Just a glance

You've taken away my looks, my identity, by just a glance.
You've taken away my looks, my identity, by just a glance.
By making me drink the wine of love-potion,
You've intoxicated me by just a glance;
My fair, delicate wrists with green bangles in them,
Have been held tightly by you with just a glance.
I give my life to you, Oh my cloth-dyer,
You've dyed me in yourself, by just a glance.
I give my whole life to you Oh, Nijam,
You've made me your bride, by just a glance.
You've taken away my looks, my identity, by just a glance.

Ever Lasting Glance

'Ever lasting glance '

In moments of grief,
when my heart feel pangs
with throbbing fear
burning like wild fire
I think
where I am born without fate
on bosom of the earth
constantly drowning in sea of wrath
It is only your ever lasting glance
on my passion ground
which makes me remind
surreptitious first stolen kiss
i feel my soul trembling
with the tender touch of the veiled beloved
the fleeting effect wins my heart
I often think in profundity
I am alone but eternal
with your ever lasting Glance
ever lasting glance

Gracious glance of innocence

Just snowed winter afternoon
Post-thanksgiving sales
Attractive less expensive shopping
My wife, our son and I
In one of the big retailers of US
Tired of this buying spree
I found a place to sit close to the entrance
And watched the people shopping

Entered a stroller
Holding an infant
Well protected
With a toy nipple in the mouth

I could make out
It was a baby girl
Very cute
Looking around with her
Inquisitive eyes
That had a grace

It occurred so
That I was in her focus
When her stroller passed beside me
Within a metre or so

Her mother was moving around
Things displayed in that side of the shop
And I was in the field her sight
During most of the time
Of her mother’s shopping

The first glance of the kid
Was telling me
“My glance by itself auspicious
Can make glanced at things
Auspicious too”

The second glance of hers
Which struck me
Beneath a displayed pink gown
Told me
“My glance, you know,
Can free you from all bonds,
If you are a person
Seeking that path.
My glance, at the same time,
Can grant worldly pleasures too,
If you are after them”

Her third glance
After a hide through a pillar
Revealed to me
“My glance has the power
To clear all your doubts
And to shatter
Your negative mind-set,
So that you ever remain confident”

As the infant was
Going out of shop
Her glance had a message
“My glance can purify you
And wash off all your sins
And dirt of your previous actions.
Do not you realise now
The power of
The gracious glance of innocence”

For My Secret Love

i content myself with only
a glance of you per day
to exclude the touch
of your hand,
to exclude practically
everything
that may fulfill this longing
at one glance only
for only an hour of the year
i can say
my life is fulfilled in self-
restraint.

From Out Of Nowhere

[Faith no More]
Tossed into my mind, stirring the calm
You splash me with beauty
And pull me down
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
Obesession rules me,
I'm yours from the start
I know you see me, our eyes interlock
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
One minute here
And one minute there
Don't know if I'll laugh or cry
One minute here
And one minute there
And then you wave goodbye...
Sifting to the bottom,
Every day for two
All energy funnels, all becomes you
You come from out of nowhere
My glance turns to a stare
One minute here
And one minute there
Don't know if I'll laugh or cry
One minute here
And one minute there
And it hurts inside
One minute here
And one minute there
And then you wave goodbye...

Love & Girl (Argonelle)

Why love?
I see your eyes glitter
sky-blue full of sparkling pure light
pretty deep, secretive and bright
I see your eyes glitter.

Why girl?
Your glance now is soulless
as if all of life is missing
without any feeling closing
your glance now is soulless.

U n i c o r n 1 5

Those to whom it has revealed itself
- grazing in a grove of trees,
a ray of morning sunlight
lighting the dewdrops on the mossy grass;
or galloping, white mane flying in the wind,
over the high green hills;
or briefly glimpsed, shining-eyed
between the white-spumed waves –
they bring back with them, the experience
which always will be theirs;
some place of inner peace
to which they may refer all the events
of life; so that, like some shaken bright kaleidoscope,
all falls into its place.

Some never speak of this; some see no reason not to speak;
and risk response: thus, some envious, as ‘why not me? ’
some, just curious; some, eager to hear all,
as if they always knew, or ‘thought they guessed’, that it exists…

Even spoken from the heart, words live a life that’s perilous:
some who are so fortunate as to catch it there
in that sacred grove of trees, and on whom
the unicorn bestows its glance, as eye to eye,
speak of a softness, of a sweetness; some
say, it looked into my inmost soul;
some simply fall in love with their true peaceful self;
some speak of being so at one with it,
that all the world is ever one: so that,
its glance bestowed on them, their every glance
henceforward, sees that unity in everything.

some speak of it; some hold it in
pure silence of the heart, and live it
in themselves, as if
they are its children in the world;
their glance, as sparkling eye meets sparkling eye,
will tell us all we need to know

that moment when we know
that there is something which we know, have ever known,
but knew not what it was until
- like some glimpse of the unicorn,
here, now, always; one glimpse, one glance,
and its work done -
we know we know

My Bar Dance

My Bar Dance

ha! ha! !
In my bar dance
Perpetual is romance
People from home and France
In dancer's eyes spirituality glance

ha! ha! !
It is an eternal dance
It's not a game of chance
You fall in love at first glance
Vast its dancing floor's expanse

ha! ha! !
In dance the divinity glitters
In dancers drink bowls no bitters
The dancers' lives without jitters
Their hearts are divine transmitters

ha! ha! !
Come and join my bar dance
This Christmas joyous trance

Unknown Love

A kiss is just a kiss without meaning.
A touch does not exist, without feeling.
A look is just a look, a glance is just a glance without a smile.
What kind of love is this, if I can not hold you?
What kind of love is this, if I can not touch you?
What kind of love is trapped and in prisoned by a band of gold?
A deep desire for love can never be shown.
This love will never be known.

First Glance

Your delicate smile so tender and bright,
Never fails to warm my heart and soul alike,
I love how one glance can melt any fear I may have,
And flawlessly reassures me that you really do love me,
The way you look at me,
Makes my heart race faster,
That even just being with you,
As impossible as it seems to me,
Why are you allowed to possess such control over me,
When I never thought I'd allow anyone again, to get me this bad.
How can it be right?
And why do I love you anyways for it?
I just love how you stole my heart, my inhibitions, and my everything in that first glance!

Does Anybody Care?

Clothes so dowdy, eyes too cloudy,
She was thought of as someone to avoid.
But at second glance you just might find
that she's never been overjoyed
with her life.
For her life's been a struggle.
Her days have gone by
and no ever thought
to ever ask her why?

Clothes all finery, eyes so shiny,
she was thought of as someone to know.
But at second glance you just might find
that wherever she may go
in her life.
All of it's been a party.
She has never known any pain
And not one person has ever cared
because she is so vain.

Through That Smile of Yours

Igniting a small
Spark of courage,
I glance at your face,
Capturing the image
Of your angelic face
Accented by the
Magnificent canvas
Of the sunset sky

Feeling my stare,
You glance my way,
A sudden heat
Travel up my face,
And I look away
With regret again,

Step, step, step,
We walk on without
Any words exchanged,
Missing the picture
Of perfection,
I glance back again,

Bu-thump, Bu-thump, Bu-thump

Turning my head a bit
And catching your eyes
With the corner of my mine,
Could I be any happier,
Or scared than
How I'm feeling now,

A warm, gentle hand,
Brushing nonchalantly
Playfully, even,
Against mine,
Lingering there,

Spark of courage,
And something more
Ignites, jumps, and dances,
What am I to do,

Such a feeling,
Cannot be compressed
In couple of words like
'I love you'

So for now,
I simply grasp
Your hand,
And let this
Passion shine
Through
That smile of yours,

Sideways

My love mesmerizes you;
its your intoxication.

I see your soul
singing with every glance I give,
every heart tug
you too evince in me,
with just one
of those smiles of yours.

You pose in my view,
twirl slightly,
give me sudden side-way
glance
just like in the movies,
counting my heartbeats
which you can hear from across the room.

Oh, you love my smitten-ness.

Like the hummingbird
you flutter to each of my flower glances
suck my nectar
and fly away quickly
leaving only a blur of wings
in my too-slow side vision.

Oh, I love your flirting love
it gives
so much
to your innocent ego
which needs my need of you,
my hungry eyes.

Your need of me
is as great as mine for you;
in this we are Flirtation Lovers
ever attracted
but never joined.

For me this is enough for now;
for you it is a need fulfilled.

We are Lovers of the Side-way Glance;
a love never to consummate
because that would likely spoil
a Love Perfect
in its purity
and mutual joy.

Ours can only
survive
in the askance view
where I look at you from afar
offering you
yet more
nectar;
as you flirt and flit
on the wing
exhausting
my quivering
flower.

meeting Dureza at the church one sunday

the eyes speak the familiar
and her eyes are talking about me
and my eyes too glance at her
and both eyes are talking in
careful whispers of silence as
the priest is still saying grace
before the mass ends,

and peace be with you we
bow at each other to the left
and to the right and then our
eyes glance again speaking
carefully the whispers of our
past sins, and i look at her,

my God she has aged a lot,
i even thought she is her mother.

we have nothing to remember.
we left the church not saying
any word from our mouths,
my wife pulls me to the car
there is no looking back she
says, there is no looking back.

Sweet Romance

Father dear, dont you hear me
Im alone, and I cant sleep from crying
Father dear, well if you hear me
Ive been held closely by a stranger
Sweet romance
The moment that my eyes first saw him
In a glance
I knew right from the start that I adored him
Sweet romance
I may never see the man again, so help me find him
So help me find him
Listen, if you find him
Wont you tell him just how much I love him
Father, Ive only got you
Please, wont you make him love me too
Sweet romance
The moment that my eyes first saw him
In a glance
I knew right from the start that I adored him
Sweet romance
I may never see the man again, so help me find him
So help me find him
Oh, oh, oh
Sweet, sweet
Sweet romance
The moment that my eyes first saw him
In a glance
I knew right from the start that I adored him
Sweet romance
I may never see the man again, so help me find him
So help me find him
Father, hear me calling
Youre the only one I can turn to
My life has been so empty
And he could fill my emptiness too
Sweet romance
The moment that my eyes first saw him
In a glance
I knew right from the start that I adored him
Sweet romance
I may never see the man again, so help me find him
Help me, help me

Fate, Detiny

Sometimes i hate
that there is fate

fate that is hard to believe
in it pain i what i recieve

i recieve a pain that i will suffer
and maybe that night will be my last supper

i hate what you called destiny
im nothing, with a rivalry

a rival that i dont stand a chnce
because of him i cant get even a glance

a glance at yor beautiful face
without you i feel alone in this maze

i wrote this poem just for you
if only you love me too.

a love that never dies
a love that never lies

at the end of this poem i want you to see
that i wil change my life just for thee.

Ballad: Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree

1

'Are you ready for your steeple-chase, Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree?
Barum, Barum, Barum, Barum, Barum, Barum, Baree,
You're booked to ride your capping race to-day at Coulterlee,
You're booked to ride Vindictive, for all the world to see,
To keep him straight, to keep him first, and win the run for me.
Barum, Barum,' etc.

2

She clasped her new-born baby, poor Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree,
'I cannot ride Vindictive, as any man might see,
And I will not ride Vindictive, with this baby on my knee;
He's killed a boy, he's killed a man, and why must he kill me?'

3

'Unless you ride Vindictive, Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree,
Unless you ride Vindictive to-day at Coulterlee,
And land him safe across the brook, and win the blank for me,
It's you may keep your baby, for you'll get no keep from me.'

4

'That husbands could be cruel,' said Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorree,
'That husbands could be cruel, I have known for seasons three;
But oh! to ride Vindictive while a baby cries for me,
And be killed across a fence at last for all the world to see!'

5

She mastered young Vindictive-Oh! the gallant lass was she,
And kept him straight and won the race as near as near could be;
But he killed her at the brook against a pollard willow-tree,
Oh! he killed her at the brook, the brute, for all the world to see,
And no one but the baby cried for poor Lorraine, Lorree.

Gothic Romance

Dream and dance, dream and dance
As tango through the turquoise tide.
Dream, dream, flying at the flower's glance
As tango through the turquoise tide,
Keeping bumblebees in trance.
Mountain brooks in sunshine glance,
Glance and trickle their path to hide.
Love me, sweetheart, stay with me in this Gothic romance.

Romance me and stay, romance me and stay.
Do you hear the whistle's wonderfully song?
Stay, stay, this night we may search the milky way.
Do you hear the whistle's wonderfully song?
Wonderfully weird whistling demand the light of the day.
So let the tears go and they will flow away
And stay with me, when love may be so strong.
Just stay with me, sweetheart, love me in this Gothic romance.
