I would first recommend we appoint a Police Director that commands the respect of the rank and file.

I Recommend Her
Mathis/henley/brown
Well, if you want someone to tear your world apart
Someone who will give it evrything shes got
If you wanna learn to cry, I recommend her
If you want someone whos really qualified, guaranteed broken heart every time
If you wanna learn to cry, dont let this chance pass you by
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you
Shes had plenty of experience along this line, oh so many times
Shes torn apart this heart of mine, its fascinating, the way she operates
Shell put you down when you think youre finally getting someplace
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you, yes I do
If you want your dreams to end before they begin
Someone who will ruin your life, and then laugh while you cry
Dont let this chance pass you by
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you
I recommend her, I recommend her, I recommend her, I recommend her....

How Can I Respect People
How can I respect people who do not respect me
Who to others do not grant me my due equality
Since equality to others is everybody's due
That is if to one's higher self one wish to remain true
Too many far too many support the inequality of rank
Our sadly flawed socities for such people we must thank
I cannot respect people who see fit to put me down
Far too many of their sort inhabit every town
These people not good people strange mind games they do play
They uphold rank and class distinction and create us against they
How can I respect people who like to pigeon hole
Those they look on as inferior in life this their chosen role
On who should be seen as important they like to have their say
They are small minded people small in their own small way.

The standard rumor at the time was that Rumsfeld, as chief of staff, had persuaded President Ford to appoint George H.W. Bush as director of Central Intelligence, assuming that that got rid of a potential competitor for the presidency.

No Respect
Respect,
Always everybody looking for some
Respect,
Who do you think youre gonna get it from
Respect,
Anybody here deserving of none
Respect,
Tell me what makes you think
Youre not the one
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
Respect,
Why be concerned with
Public adulation
Respect,
Pat on the back crying
For attention
Respect,
Finding out what it really
Means to me
Respect,
Honor comes only after
Humility

The party has to be much more. It has to connect in a real way with rank-and-file members and be their voice.
It is the rank and file - the average woman - for whom the world has opened up so astonishingly.

I Recommend Everyone Eat Cake
In regards to your digestion,
I would recommend...
The eating of more fruits and vegetables.
'That already poses a disagreement,
As you can see.
Now...
'If' you had 'suggested' the fruits,
And vegetables...
No one here would have ordered,
The icecream and cake.
Just to prove to you,
There are decisions they alone make.
To recommend is one thing.
However...
To suggest implies a willingness to try.
Now no one is concerned about their hips or thighs.'
What a difference a suggestion makes.
'I've been telling you that!
You will learn not to recommend,
But suggest.
The results are unbelievable.'
Hmmm,
I see.
I RECOMMEND EVERYONE EAT CAKE.
'You are wasting your time.
You've got to be a little more pro-active.
Can't you see that is what they are doing? '

It's a dumb question, because I don't look at things as a black director, just as a director, so ask me as a director first and we can segue into the colour thing later.

He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice.

Most of your precious jewels were stolen [1]
Most of your precious jewels were stolen,
your car’s window smashed
by a black man with a beanie hat,
who grabbed your handbag
from the seat next to you
were you were parked between two cars
at a traffic light.
The thief ran into the minibus taxi rank
and you were too afraid to follow
into that maze
of black travellers.
Even you cellular phone was taken,
along with your purse, identity document
and driver’s license.
You called me from the nearby
plumber’s shop
and I drove quicker from Johannesburg
to the centre city of Pretoria
than the Police could
from a few blocks away.
Every precious jewel you had,
the emerald engagement ring,
the ten-centimetre broad gold armband,
your string of pearls, two rings
with three carat diamonds,
the charm bracelet with the big five
that I collected golden pendant
by golden pendant for you,
even my Rolex watch was stolen
and some golden Kruger Rands,
earrings, rings and bracelets
that I cannot recall anymore.
You were crying and shaken
and I tried to comfort you
and entered the minibus taxi rank
trying to find discarded documents
or something,
but without avail.
When the police came
they were too afraid
to search the taxi rank
and said that its dangerous
and when I told them
that I had searched it already
they were astonished
and they told you to report the crime
at the nearest police station
if you wanted to make a case
and drove away with their yellow van.

Corpse found with bullets,
Police went clueless,
Courts left without evidence,
No one criminal, says jurisprudence.
Case solved, file closed.

It all has to do with the director, the captain of the ship. He sets the pace, the mood. If the director is quiet, the set is quiet. If the director is loud, then everybody has to be louder to be heard.

I think the director is becoming more important. To work under rushed conditions, you need to have an extremely professional director. If the director's good than the end result will be good.

Sonnet: Respect
Respect your elders all if they deserve;
Respect your servants too who you well serve;
Respect your father for tilling the soil;
Respect your mother for her love and toil.
Respect all teachers who gave you knowledge;
Respect your friend who saved you from the ledge;
Respect all good minds who advised you good;
Respect the man of God who gave soul’s food.
Respect all strangers who were all Godsends;
Respect your foes who taught you self-defense;
Respect those evil men who you troubled;
Respect the tempter who well you misled.
Respect your conscience which tells you what’s right;
Respect your God who is your Friend and Guide.

Respect Sows Peace
Do not restrict respect
to age because someone is old
show real respect to all
but respect most
heart motivation
of people worthy
of that respect.
Respect is given
respect is earned
respect enriches
respect ennobles
graces civilization
elevates humanity
sows seeds of peace.
