The next challenge for Christianity is to remind Europeans that we are called to seek the truth.

You Remind Me Of Gold
Baby, when I think about you
And thats when I think
I think about gold
You remind me of gold
And when I see the sunrise in the sky
And when I hear your brakes come squealing by
I forget
Everything Ive been told
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
Baby I always think about you
I think of the life and glory you hold
You remind me of gold
And even though there was no sun today
And though you are a thousand miles away
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold

We've talked to the Europeans about it. It's clear if those negotiations fail, then we are agreed with the Europeans that the next step is to take the matter to the U.N. Security Council.

Canadians tend to be a bit more religious than most Europeans - though not more than the Poles or Ukrainians. Most important, their attitude to immigration and ethnic minorities is more positive than that of most Europeans.

Clearly a big challenge for Christianity is how to remain in contact with the millions of people who look for God but do not come to Church.

Veritas
Empty chatter and vagaries
Always seek lost arguments
That dwell in weakened theories
Wasting time and precious moments.
Doubts and questions long ago answered
Will never mentally suffice
The unbelieving so encumbered
With his mind closed, will not have peace.
For those who do not nor will believe
No explanation can stand sufficient
But to those who have in Faith received
God's Presence is more than just eloquent.
The message of Christianity is not just words
Based on the lowly, minute wisdom of men
For the manifestation of His Power accords
His Truth revealed and testimony given.

I Use To Play Basketball
Do you play basketball?
'I can.
I did.
Why do you ask? '
And...
You live in Connecticut, right?
'Yes.'
I've noticed from your writing,
There is a biting that defies description.
'What has that have to do with my ability to play basketball? '
Just curious.
Your eyes are penetrating.
As if you seek a challenge from me.
'A challenge?
From 'you'?
I said...
I use to play basketball.
In my much younger days.
However...
If I had been prepared for a challenge to play games,
I would have brought along a blindfold.
That's how confident I am of winning.'

We Who....
we who would seek a home,
find our home with the homeless.
we who seek truth,
know the tree to be a tree!
we who seek liberty,
throw all that we own onto the fire.
we who seek love,
feed the hungry.
we who seek companionship,
simply become dialogue...
we who would seek god,
well, all of the above.
we who seek tomorrow,
give today to a stranger...
and wrap his feet up
with our dreams!

Contempt not to be the intent
He called me black that I am.
He called me old that I am.
He called me by caste that I belong to.
I have been wounded, truth spoken,
As contempt was the intent behind.
Truth that hurts be dropped

Those who seek absolute power, even though they seek it to do what they regard as good, are simply demanding the right to enforce their own version of heaven on earth. And let me remind you, they are the very ones who always create the most hellish tyrannies. Absolute power does corrupt, and those who seek it must be suspect and must be opposed.

Remind My Heart
(k. hain/j. franzel)
Pull back the curtain
Open up the blind
Let the light on the window
I cant close for all this time
I wanted to forget the pain of falling
That you, maybe, remember now
Dreams werent always made to be broken
Chorus:
When you hold me in your arm
Remind my heart
Of the way love should be
In the moment I let go
Remind my heart
That youre really there for me
Like the sun, breaking through the dark
Remind my heart
Ohh, can it be this simple
Can it be this true
All the fears Ive held so long
Swept away by you
Slowly now, you bring me to my senses
And I can feel the warmth again
Of the flame Id thought Ive lost forever
(repeat chorus)
What I missed so long (remind my heart)
Of the tenderness and the feeling you remind (remind my heart)
How love can make you strong
Oh, baby, youre makin me strong
(repeat chorus)
Ohh, in the moment I let go (remind my heart)
Remind my heart, remind my heart
That youre really there for me
Remind my heart
Of the way this love should be
Remind my heart

Remind Me
Turn off that charm
Im through with love for awhile
Im through and yet, you have a fabulous smile
So if I forget
Remind me
Not to find you so attractive
Remind me
That the world is full of men
When I start to miss you
To touch your hand
To kiss you
Remind me
To count to ten
I had a feeling when I met you
Youd drive me crazy if I let you
But all my efforts to forget you
Remind me Im in love again
I get my heart, well in hand, and Im certain
That I can take you, or leave you alone
Then you begin that beguine again
And boom, I give in , again
I have a will made of steel, my friend
But when it seems about to bend
Remind me
Not to mention that I love you
Remind me
To be sorry that we met
Although I adore you
Remind me to ignore you
Youre one thing I will regret
So when your charm begins to blind me
Ill simply tie my hands behind me
Dont let me kiss you please, remind me
Unless, my darling, you forget

Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue with that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first - rock and roll or Christianity.
