I think it goes back to the fact that the evangelical community often does not have a biblical vision of God.

When you talk about evangelicals, don't forget that a significant proportion of the evangelical community is African American. And most African Americans - well over 90 percent, thoroughly evangelical, thoroughly biblical - will probably vote Democratic.

Those issues are biblical issues: to care for the sick, to feed the hungry, to stand up for the oppressed. I contend that if the evangelical community became more biblical, everything would change.

football Field Gem
(Grand Evangelical Mission,10th of May 2009, Agro Football Field, Davao City, commemorating the 123rd birth anniversary of Ka Felix Y. Manalo, God's last messenger)
Throngs of believers and non-believers
assembled together into one herd
to cheer not up spectacular soccer game
but to listen the Church of Christ
evangelical expose' aim
Caravans of jeeps, boats, buses alike
faithful followers, marching with streamers
peace-governing authority with shimmering light
of overwhelming joy and unifying gratitude
in celebrating God's last messenger
123rd birthday
Celebration's highlights unlike pagan feasts
nor mix with worldly dance, pleasure and flesh
but by grace of imparting God's messages
in these last days
spreading plain biblical doctrines and prophecies
the gospel of truth for those
who are willing to be saved
Literal thunderstorms
and season rains are showering
but they never defeats nor shakes
even by little drip of attempt
for the brethrens with stronghold aim
rain or shine
Grand Evangelical Mission begins
As the ball of faith
starts rolling
echoing beyond soccer goal team
innumerable blind-folded souls
have been awaken
* around 60,000 people attended this historical GEM
as reported by the local TV network (ABS-CBN Davao)

The two hot issues are the gay issue and the abortion issue. These are the two defining issues in the evangelical community these days. I'm sure that these hot buttons will be pushed, time and time again.

The religious community is essential, for alone our vision is too narrow to see all that must be seen. Together, our vision widens and strength is renewed.

Jesus was not denying the legitimacy of biblical law. On the contrary, He was affirming biblical law. We love God first; God commands us to keep His word; therefore, we must enforce the law on ourselves.

As A Matter Of Fact
Written by s. garrett & d. boyette
Blow daddy, aww, yeah
Here we are, standing at the hard line
We made it last this long
The two of us, together since the first time
And I believe our love is still strong
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come or go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I love you (oh, as a matter of fact)
And I love that you love me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter, a matter)
Some said we wouldnt make it this far
But they dont talk no more (no more)
The love we share is precious as a big star
And what we haves what others hope for
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come or go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I need you (oh, as a matter of fact)
And Im glad that you need me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter, a matter)
Mm, matter of fact, yeah (ooh as a matter of fact)
I want you (yeah, as a matter of fact)
And I cant tell you more than that
As a matter of fact, (ooh, as a matter) yeah (matter)
Aww, blow, daddy
Musical interlude
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come and go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(repeat chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I love you (oh, as a matter of fact)
Yeah and I love that you love me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
Ooh, ooh, baby
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I need you (yeah, as a matter of fact)
And Im glad that you need me right back
As a matter of fact
(ooh, as a matter) yeah (a matter)

If you look back today over the last 25 years, it is a fact that we have had a progressive degeneration of our intelligence community in general; in particular in the field of human intelligence.

There will not be one kind of community existing and one kind of life led in utopia. Utopia will consist of utopias, of many different and divergent communities in which people lead different kinds of lives under different institutions. Some kinds of communities will be more attractive to most than others; communities will wax and wane. People will leave some for others or spend their whole lives in one. Utopia is a framework for utopias, a place where people are at liberty to join together voluntarily to pursue and attempt to realize their own vision of the good life in the ideal community but where no one can impose his
own utopian vision upon others.

School-Community
School is a community which surrounds you most
A place where teachers seem somewhat like ghosts
Believing that it’s a chance for new friends
But the community also introduces new ends
You believe that you yourself can never be true
To reside into acting into someone that isn't you
The school community soon becoming fake
Inside, many people's hearts begin to ache
We believe in not showing our true selves
The community telling to dig deep in ourselves
Slowly we start believing that freedom is forbidden
But does school truly want ourselves to remain hidden?
Friendships can lead to you being cut down
We sometimes wish this community wasn't around
But then we realise not to defy the real world
And that the real truth is being unfurled
This community teaches us to stand on our own feet
And without this test we shall still remain incomplete
The teachings is something that no one seems to share
In the real world these are teachings we'll need out there
School is a place where there are things we must learn
Otherwise the community outside will cause us to return
The community outside is the place we are yearning
But this community is the place we are still learning…

An Eye For An Eye
There once was a couple of cats
Who fought a continuous spat.
Each scratched out an eye,
So it ended in tie -
An old-Biblical tit for a tat!
Well the cats woke up bleeding and weak
And half-seeing the havoc they'd wreaked
They took off their clothes,
Their backsides to expose -
A new-Biblical turning of cheek!

Unfortunately in the gay community, oftentimes people that get the most attention are the most flamboyant and loud. And that's not to dismiss them, because drag queens and, you know, leather motorcycle women, they have their place in the gay community as well. But they're not - they don't define the gay community by any stretch of the imagination.

How I envy Them
i see them sleeping
and man i envy them
cause in time it seems
they are at peace
they love the fact that
they get to sleep
no nightmares no fears
but i cant i just cant
for i am always in pain
i close my eyes and don't dream
vision keep running through
vision of you
the one i cared for and cherish
man these event have made
me cold,
and my heart done seek love no more
cause nothing last
i just rock back hoping to one day
be free, free to sleep, free to love
untill then time just goes by

Get It Back
Remember when
It all began
We were all in love
Then came the friends
Telling you when your time for me
Was good enough
I constantly had to compete
With you crew and their schemes
Remembering
Back in the day I used to mean everything
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
Now tell me why
All of them nights
You had so much to go
When you said bye
Sometimes I tried, I tried
To make you choose
Now tell me how you can allow
You boys to control the time
We shared it was unfair
But now its time for you to know
(now if I told you)
That Im moving on
(boy what would you do)
Things just aint the same
(we were supposed to)
Conquer everything, yeah
(boy let me tell you)
Youre got to make a change
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
(do you rememebr)
The way you used to love
You would kiss and hug me
(I rememebr)
U havent lately
(do you remember)
All the things you gave me
Everywhere youd take me
(cant you see that)
I really really need you back
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
