We meet people all the time....
We meet people all the time
Rich people with nothing
Poor people with the world
Kind people
Not so kind people
Funny people
People who think they are funny
People who laugh at other peoples pain
People who change the course of our lives
People whom we change their direction
Inspirational people
Caring people
Intelligent people
History tells us of people who create World misery
And the ones who end it
People who charm the socks off us (while we are wearing our shoes!)
People who steal our affections
People who give us undeserved affections
All the time we meet people
Wouldn’t it be nice if this poem didn’t label them though?

Wanting To Meet Love To Give People
Ah-ah-ah-ooo,
You send me...
A peace of me in me I see.
Ah-ah-ah-ooo,
You send me...
Joy,
And happiness.
The BEST I've MET!
Ah-ooo...
Nobody,
Has ever...
Wanted to get that close to me.
Ah-ah-ah...
Or showed me that they wanted to be.
Ah-ah-ah...
Or showed that kind of respect to me.
Ah-ah-ah...
I'm wanting to meet love to give people.
Ah-ah-ah...
Wanting to meet love to give people.
Ah-ah-ah...
I'm wanting to meet love to give people.
Ah-ah-ah...
Wanting to meet love to give people.
Ah-ah,
Ah-ooo...
Nobody,
Ah-ah-ah-ooo...
Ah-ah,
Ah-ah-aaaahhhh.

Every Kind Of People
Every Kinda People
Robert Palmer
Words & Music : Andy Fraser
Notes : Aussi interprte par "Mint Juleps"
Said the fight to make ends meet
Keeps a man upon his feet
Holding down his job
Trying to show he can't be bought
Ooh, it takes every kind of people
To make what life's about, yeah
Every kind of people
To make the world go 'round
Someone's looking for a lead
In his duty to a King or creed
Protecting what he feels is right
Fights against wrong with his life
There's no profit in deceit
Honest men know that
Revenge do not taste sweet
Whether yellow, black or white
Each and every man's the same inside
It takes every kind of people
To make what life's about, yeah
Every kind of people
To make the world go 'round
You know that love's the only goal
That could bring a peace to any soul
Hey, and every man's the same
He wants the sunshine in his name
Ooh, it takes every kind of people...

I'm social and I meet people and talk to people but I'm not looking for the ideal person to fit my mold and to raise my family with yet. I'm just kind of doing my thing and learning from the people I'm around and who I cross paths with.

I used to think of all the billions of people in the world, and of all those people, how was I going to meet the right ones The right ones to be my friends, the right one to be my husband. Now I just believe you meet the people you're supposed to meet.

Stereotype
There is a kind of familiar stereotype
of some people all day following the sun
while their women work, you know the type,
I have seen some people having fun,
believing tomorrow is another day
promoted from tea-lady to director
and to some in the RSA, be that as it may,
but there is another kind of factor.
I have seen a man that breaks the mould
as the best accountant, being totally sharp,
and had to discard all the stories I had been told
as he had wit, was no angel playing a harp,
but he could joke, could deadlines meet;
on the ground had both of his feet.

I love it when people say things to me in public and want to meet me, because I want to meet them! Early on, my manager told me, 'If you want to sell 500,000 records, then go out there and meet 500,000 people.'

It's Kind of Funny
It's kind of funny how those who want life get it taken away,
while those who loathe it wander around.
Almost as if a waste.
It's kind of funny how those who try to do right get it spit back in their face.
The bad walk among us as if to be common people.
They, they get your respect.
It's kind of funny the people you love, they're usually the fall of you.
They say they're there for you but always somehow make you feel worthless.
It's kind of funny how everything can end so fast.
Everything can just disappear.
It's kind of funny how I wish I never met you.
I wish I could tell you.
I wish we could be.
And I wish that everything wasn't so funny and that everything could be what it is.
It's kind of funny how me and you,
we don't matter.
What I say and do will always be funny to you.
It's no longer funny.

Don't Ask Me to Blubber About 9/11
We're the kind of people who would kill 100,000 Japs
(Hey; come on; they're only Japs) to find out if a weapon
Works. We're the kind of people who would kill
A million Filipinos so we'd have some colonies,
And we're the kind of people who would help
The Guatemalans to exterminate the Mayans so
Bananas wouldn't rise in price, and we're the kind
Of people who would lay waste to an Arab nation
Because we were angry that a group (of very clever)
Guys, who weren't from there, brought down some
Buildings here. I have to tell you this: in view of all
That we have done, I'm okay with those guys.

Now that we know that love claims a prize
Now that we know that love claims a prize,
that it brings a kind of liberation,
that nothing else has its kind of depths
and that it binds very strong when you do find it.
As if from the beginning of human existence,
pre-planned to meet each other
it is something strange and somewhat known
when our eyes suddenly meet each others.
Away is the loneliness and being separate
when we notice each other for who we are,
when suddenly we know there and then:
you are the one for who I have been waiting all my life.

My Kind Of Town
My kind of town, Chicago is
My kind of town, Chicago is
My kind of people too
People who,smile at you
And each time I leave, Chicago is
Tugging my sleave, Chicago is
One town that won't let you down
It's my kind of town
My kind of town, Chicago is
My kind of town, Chicago is
My kind of razzmatazz
And it has, all that jazz
And each time I rome, Chicago is
Calling me home, Chicago is
One town that won't let you down
It's my kind of town
Chicago is
The Wrigley Building, Chicago is
The Union stock yard, Chicago is
One town that won't let you down
It's my
My kind of town

In this business, my business, I get to meet all kinds of incredible people, fascinating people, glamorous people and sexy people and highly intellectual people. And you meet them and you go 'interesting, interesting, interesting'. They're interesting, but not very many people stop you in your tracks.

You Are…To Me…For Me….
Like sugar
Like chocolate
You are so sweet
So sweet to me
Like an old man that’s blind
Or woman who comforts a baby that cries
You are kind
So kind to me
Prayed all my life to find
Yes to find someone like to find
Tried to ignore it but there are feelings growing in my soul…
For you
Yes for you, only for you
Every time I hear your voice
I know to rejoice
Cuz you have my heart
I never want us to part
You are so sweet
So sweet to me
You are so kind
So kind to me
Beautiful inside and out
I don’t have to meet you to know what you’re all about
You got me hoping for this to last
Hoping we can make it past
2 or 3 years
Release your fears
I will not hurt you
Just want to love you
Protect you and take care of you in ways only I know how to
If it’s not too much or no shame
Maybe one day I can carry your last name
But I don’t want to push
Cuz you and I are ordinary people
We can take it slow
I’ll be here and just so you know
I’ll love you til’ the end of time, if you let me
Let’s just be and if it’s real
Then let’s jump in the car and peel
Cuz baby you got that ‘Whip Appeal’
Just know I’ll never cheat, lie, or hurt you
Don’t matter what them other chicks do
I’m down and ONLY FOR YOU!
Cuz you are sweet
So sweet to me
You are kind
So kind to me
ONLY FOR ME! ! !

The End Of The Tour
Theres a girl with a crown and a scepter
Whos on wlsd
And she says that the scene isnt what its been
And shes thinking of going home
That its old and its totally over now
And its old and its over, its over now
And its over, its over, its over now
I can see myself
At the end of the tour
When the road disappears
If theres any more people around
When the tour runs aground
And if youre still around
Then well meet at the end of the tour
The engagements are booked through the end of the world
So well meet at the end of the tour
Never to part since the day we met
Out on interstate 91
I was bent metal you were a flaming wreck
When we kissed at the overpass
I was sailing along with the people
Driving themselves to distraction inside me
Then came a knock on the door which was odd
And the picture abruptly changed
At the end of the tour
When the road disappears
If theres any more people around
When the tour runs aground
And if youre still around
Then well meet at the end of the tour
The engagements are booked through the end of the world
So well meet at the end of the tour
This was the vehicle these were the people
You opened the door and expelled all the people
This was the vehicle these were the people
You opened the door and expelled all the people
This was the vehicle these were the people
You let them go
At the end of the tour
When the road disappears
If theres any more people around
When the tour runs aground
And if youre still around
Then well meet at the end of the tour
The engagements are booked through the end of the world
So well meet at the end of the tour
And were never gonna tour again
No, were never gonna tour again

Memories
The moments we share
Makes our memories
Some are bitter
Others are sweet
Conversatiions we can later share,
With others
Like where did our
Hearts meet?
Also, about the day we walked the
Road, and way the weather was
So very cold
We couldnt even feel our faces
Nor move our nose
So be especially kind
To the, people
You are, priveledge to know
It's the people in this life
That helps you grow

Someone
Who would have known
Someone like me
Would meet someone like you
Someone as beautiful
Someone as smart
Someone that fills my heart
With love & laughter
Someone so kind & sweet
Someone like you
That I was blessed by God to meet
