Don't use words too big for the subject. Don't say ""infinitely"" when you mean ""very""; otherwise you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite.

In This World Of Infinite Words
IN THIS WORLD OF INFINITE WORDS
In this world of infinite words
So many poems have already been written,
Infinite poems in infinite words-
Therefore any new poem simply seems to cry out its own non- necessity-
Yet in a word in a voice
A whole world can be born and transformed-
A new poem a real poem
Can make us forget all the others
And make all the others live through it-
Yet who in this world of infinite words
Can write this poem?
And when will the next set of strangers names come
To show me that my words are nothing?

Poetry Today
POETRY TODAY
Billions and trillions and zillions of words
Infinite infinite infinite unending ongoing unending infinite
Words and words and words.
And one small reader
Alone in the night
With a half- asleep mind
And a longing
For a bit of beauty,
And inspiration.

Now an infinite happiness cannot be purchased by any price less than that which is infinite in value; and infinity of merit can only result from a nature that is infinitely divine or perfect.

How The Words Are Taking The Man
let me start with one word
another word takes in another
and they begin to talk to one another
i let the third word go
and they will ask another one
to equalize both sides
they will soon invite other words
until they will make a crowd
and the words get so many
now with mouths and no ears
like the drink the words take the man
and after so man y words have been uttered
you begin to regret every word that got in
so many and now you feel so empty.

Unclear yet Like A Fog
Every day and every night,
I shall turn to left and right,
Take my turnings as I go,
Sometimes thoughts do overflow.
Words on lips, I don't talk,
Unclear yet like a fog,
Feelings worth and touching too,
Some sense, must get through.
Every day and every night,
Something on the tongue abide,
Which is what, I don't know,
For it is like: so and so.
Word on lips, just to stalk,
Dry and white like the chalk,
Sentence making, meaning worth,
Understanding, at its birth.
Every day, left and right,
Discernment brought to light,
Word on lips, I don't talk,
Unclear yet like a fog.

This moment exhibits infinite space, but there is a space also wherein all moments are infinitely exhibited, and the everlasting duration of infinite space is another region and room of joys.

For, in fact, what is man in nature? A Nothing in comparison with the Infinite, an All in comparison with the Nothing, a mean between nothing and everything. Since he is infinitely removed from comprehending the extremes, the end of things and their beginning are hopelessly hidden from him in an impenetrable secret; he is equally incapable of seeing the Nothing from which he was made, and the Infinite in which he is swallowed up.

My Baby Left Me
(words & music by arthur crudup)
Yes my baby left me,
Never said a word.
Was it something I done,
Something that she heard?
My baby left me,
My baby left me.
My baby even left me,
Never said a word.
Now I stand at my window,
Wring my hands and cry.
I hate to lose that woman,
Hate to say goodbye.
You know she left me,
Yes, she left me.
My baby even left me,
Never said a word.
Baby, one of these mornings,
Lord, it wont be long,
Youll look for me and,
Baby, and daddy hell be gone.
You know you left me,
You know you left me.
My baby even left me,
Never said a word.
Now, I stand at my window,
Wring my hands and moan.
All I know is that
The one I love is gone.
My baby left me,
You know she left me.
My baby even left me,
Never said a word.

Infinitely, Before You Arrived
You can not borrow from my time,
Infinitely.
Infinitely.
Infinitely...You can not borrow from my time,
Infinitely.
Infinitely.
Infinitely...To take,
And try to make your mission my condition.
To leave me in suspicion wishing,
For your absence I was missing...
Before you arrived.
You can not borrow my time to take...
And try to make your mission,
My condition.
Before you arrived.
You can not borrow from my time,
Infinitely.
Infinitely.
Infinitely...To take,
And try to make your mission my condition.
To leave me in suspicion wishing,
For your absence I was missing...
Before you arrived.
To lie and scheme by my side.
Infinitely.
Before you arrived.
Infinitely.
To lie and scheme by my side.
Infinitely.
Before you arrived.
Infinitely.
To lie and scheme by my side.
Infinitely.
Before you arrived.
Infinitely.
To lie and scheme by my side.
Infinitely.
Infinitely.
Infini tely...
To lie and scheme by my side.
Infinitely.
Infinitely.
Infinitely.

The mind of man has perplexed itself with many hard questions. Is space infinite, and in what sense? Is the material world infinite in extent, and are all places within that extent equally full of matter? Do atoms exist or is matter infinitely divisible?

Words Again
Thoughts can be words, can be flowers that burgeon like words,
Thunders that are right in the middle of happiness,
Ones that make talk with books and with all speaking sense.
The sounds are not anywhere near us,
Yet the word can believe in living free,
Where actions cannot, and nor can thoughts necessarily.
We work on the words of leaders like listening is,
When speech is hazardous and non-wrong,
And liars can speak offensively, like a long long wrong.
Speech is therefore recommended in the form of words,
Of dementia I give word not or word obvious,
But of sound advice for any goodness to come and seize.
Deceased are the word-lovers as much as fences are put up,
As if the sea is given a status that delves too deep
Of words, and it is funny how many words that there are.

Physical Poetry
The physics of poetry
is best explained in a mind experiment
in the construction of this very poem.
As I write the question becomes
what is the word-next and its origins?
Now what word-next can be
is a question of probabilities;
since if I choose rhyme as my scheme
and since the words which will rhyme are finite
and not infinite
the only question then becomes
which one of these will I choose.
Now if I choose a word-next outside
rhyming
then I risk not making poetic sense
since writing a gibberish word,
or one not related to the whole,
would be judged word-next nonsense.
Now we ask who or what in the brain
is making these two decisions
is it me or is it something mysterious;
is it drawing upon the past and memory
or from an instantaneous present
or even perhaps from my future?
Or is it just random choices I make
without even understanding them?
But suppose it is something we call
consciousness which exists
in the brain-cloud of cells which
can with millions of possibilities
produce a entirely new idea
which by definition
can come to exist
like language itself
and produce something never before said;
and now is being compiled in the brain
in this very instant and brought into existence.
That is humans have with language
the ability to create sentences
which have never before existed,
spoken or written because some languages have
enough words in them to make these permutations
near infinite and hence new ideas possible therewith.
Suppose the same is true of the human mind
and human senses make possible from this
this exercise we call
the idea.
So beyond the physical aspects of the brain
there must be a non-physical aspect we call
consciousness, the spiritual, or whatever
word we choose as its name.
Now the other half of the transaction
is even more amazing:
I just made up a new idea
never been expressed before
and can talk to you about it
and given enough clues
it becomes something you understand
and you yourself can write
a poem about.
This must be trans-consciousness
which is now a double miracle
nobody understands.

Cycle of Word
When one word drown, one word will raise
When one word vanished, one word will exist
When one word gone, one word will come
When one word finished, one word will show
When one word flies, nothing can take it back
When you talk, I wait like exiting child
The next word my ears will hear
But you keep silent, wandering in your own dream

Word life
Word word life life
word life life word.
Life has its own word
Word has its own life.
word life life word
Life life word word.
Are you ready to catch
The word in your life?
Has your word the strength
And power the bear the life?
Through the word
Is your life become happy?
Word word life life
Coining of words through life
Is the successful art
That is to cultvate.
You are here
I am here
Words are around us
Go and trace
Go go and crash.

Infinity
A coward believes to live infinitely
If he could shun the battlefield.
A valiant believes to live infinitely
If he acquaints the estoque of a worthy nemesis.
A lion believes to live infinitely
Inside his den of fringeless eaves.

Words of Fire
Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
With the force of a steam train,
With the speed of a bullet,
You hit me.
You knocked me off my high horse,
Upon the ground I lay,
Unable to move,
Such is the power of your word,
You hit me.
When first I read your word,
Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
The threat of culpable damnation,
The gift of undeserved salvation.
You are the living Word,
The only word,
Who was,
Who is,
Who is to come.
Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
Words of Eternity,
Words of Fire,
That burn within my heart.
From my youth,
My hair now grey,
Those words of Fire,
Those words of Power,
My life maintained.

Girls Talk
There are some things you cant cover up with lipstick and powder
I thought I heard you mention my name, cant you talk any louder ?
Dont come any closer, dont come any nearer
My vision of you cant get any clearer
Oh, I just want to hear girls talk
I got a loaded imagination being fired by girls talk
But I cant say the words you want to hear
I suppose youre going to have to play it by ear
Right here and now
Girls talk and they want to know how
Girls talk and they say its not allowed
Girls talk, if they say that its so
Dont you think that I know by now
That the word up on everyones lips
Stick that youre dedicated
Though you may not be an old fashioned girl
Youre still going to get dated
Was it really murder ?
Were you just pretending ?
Lately I have heard you are the living end
Girls talk and they wanna know about her
Girls talk, they wanna know if I care
Girls talk and they wanna know where
Girls talk girls talk

Arguments, agreements, advice, answers,
Articulate announcements
Its only talk

Babble, burble, banter, bicker bicker bicker
Brouhaha, boulderdash, ballyhoo
Its only talk

Chatter, chit-chat, chit-chat, chit-chat,
Conversation, contradiction, criticism
Its only talk

Debates, discussions
These are words with a d this time
Dialogue, dualogue, diatribe,
Dissention, declamation
Double talk, double talk

Words
Smile an ever lasting smile
A smile can bring you near to me
Don't ever let me find you gone
'Cos that would bring a tear to me
This world has lost its glory
Let's start a brand new story
Now my love
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say
It's only words
And words are all I have
To take your heart away
Talk in ever lasting words
And dedicate them all to me
And I will give you all my life
I'm hear if you should call to me
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say
It's only words
And words are all I have
To take your heart away
It's only words
And words are all I have
To take your heart away
Da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da da da
This world has lost its glory
Let's start a brand new story
Now my love
You think that I don't even mean
A single word I say
It's only words
And words are all I have
