Venom
I have heard but don't know whether it's true or not
They make an Alcohol out of Venom am I right?
Oh! That's fantastic and you can die at once
Better than dying every other moment.
I promised to my beloved Wife;
'Hereafter, Darling I won't steal pennies for my Cuban cigar
From your till until it gets full,
Then we can buy that stuff in downtown
And finish this rat race before the winning post!

Foundation Of Despair
Only on the firm foundation of despair
can habitations of the soul be built
upon the sands of time in which we dare
to turn our backs on gratifying guilt.
Only on the firm foundation of despair
can we sometimes with dignity emerge
unwounded by illusions caused by care
and optimism that we’ve failed to purge.

A Firm Foundation
God takes you through His Revelation, to put you on a firm foundation,
He takes you from your shaky ground, to build on The Truth you found.
Many men come from every nation, drawn to Truth through Revelation,
And the Truth that these men found, is The Rock that’s sure and sound.
The Rock my friend is Jesus Christ; He’s a firm foundation for your life.
When you enter through The Door, He sets your footing firm and sure.
Friend, even in the midst of strife, your firm foundation is Jesus Christ.
An Eternal Rock is Christ our Lord; He is firm and steady forevermore.
Christ is more than just salvation, for He is The Light of every nation.
As you travel the world’s night, Christ, my friend, is your guiding light.
Safely guided to your destination, being led by The God of creation.
Christ will bring you through the night, in a way that is sure and right.
When you come to Jesus Christ, you my friend, shall have a surer life.
Indeed, a surer life in any place, leaning upon God’s Awesome Grace.
Filled with the peace of Jesus Christ, as you go through pain and strife,
For at any time and in any place, you friend, can seek The Lord’s face.
Indeed, Christ is a firm foundation, that leads you to Eternal Salvation,
And when you get through this night, you will see God’s Eternal Light.
When in your life The Lord is found, you will be upon Eternal Ground.
So my friend, come to Jesus Christ, and you shall inherit Eternal Life.

Today... 'Foundation laid in Zion
There on Zion's mount stands a foundation stone
upon which the church through the ages has grown.
A cornerstone that the Lord Jehovah laid.
A tried and tested stone that will not fade.
How firm a Foundation we have in the Lord
as He builds The Living Church upon His Word.
No other foundation will ever suffice
for we stand upon Christ's perfect sacrifice.
(see also the additional information in the Poet's notes box)
If you build that foundation, both the moral and the ethical foundation, as well as the business foundation, and the experience foundation, then the building won't crumble.

The Ten Thousand Poems
it is like a brick
just some bricks
day by day
and day by day
i lay those bricks
some on the brink
of breaking days
day by day
but know what
i do not get tired
laying those bricks
as always i think
of building
our future

A Fighting Against Gale Enforced Winds
Oh no!
There has been an oversight.
A little loophole.
When applying the bricks,
To fortify contents inside the compound...
The blueprint we have 'just' been presented,
Indicates...
There was no cement mentioned,
To hold the bricks together.
In fact,
None had been used.
It's here in print.
How can the makers of the compound,
Skip over that?
How those bricks held together,
Is a mystery.
Therefore...
Those reported comments earlier stated,
About a fighting against gale enforced winds.
And people risking their lives,
To sandbag walls to prevent them from caving in...
Has to be re-written.
Or at least,
Retold!
And...
This is an opportunity to enhance the struggle,
Against the opposition.
And a prior status given...
To the ones declared as putting their lives on the line.
This time around,
We will announce they've been true heroes!
'How about...
A slinging of mud thrown viciously,
That disrupted into a fierce and brave retaliation? '
I love it.
Sounds good to me.
Release 'that' immediately.
Oh...
And add something about a dog.
Appearing from nowhere...
Wearing infrared goggles.
And somehow...
Managed to drag survivors to safety!
That should take the focus off of the cementless bricks.

This House
(nile rodgers)
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Our toys are in the attic baby
Pictures on the wall
We can see our memories
From the days past in the mirror
Down the hall, oh yeah
Our love will survive in our own little paradise
So inspired, so inspired
Palatial it may not be
But its a home and a castle to me
A dream from a magazine
And well never give it up cause
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Ill try to comfort you baby
You try to comfort me yeah
I know you love me
With all your heart, oh yeah
cause you say you do
You know that when you are sad
Ill be there in a flash
At the drop of a hat, oh yeah
cause I want you to feel love
And you dont have to say a thing
You dont have to ask, cause baby
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Maybe well strike it rich
One day really make it big
And I know because our love is so strong
Well always have a home
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love

Unfamiliar Knocking
Overnight a growth process does not begin,
To become uncontrollable.
A control loses its hold,
When people pretend...
The hearing of them is negatively mentioned.
And those unafraid to make bold sentiments,
Are ignored as being pessimist...
Who are nonconformists.
And overnight troubles are not planted to manifest.
It just seems that way,
To those bumping against them with their eyes closed.
Only to open them...
When unfamiliar knocking is heard,
On both the front and back doors.
And a peeking through them,
Doesn't prevent bricks being thrown through the windows.
'NEVER! ...
In my wildest hallucinating dreams,
Could I be convinced something like this...
Would remotely happen in 'this' part of town.
Since all of us HERE do our utmost best,
To protect those 'standards' we treasure and value.'
~Did you happen to get a glimpse,
Of who might have thrown those bricks? ~
'Yes.
Those adorable children living across the street.'
~And...
Just how old are these children?
Would you happen to know that? ~
'Of course.
One is 27 and the other 33.
I happen to know that because they still come over,
To play with my kids.
That's why I am at my wits end to comprehend,
Any of this.'
~And...ah...where are your...'kids'? ~
'You know...
My children are very civic minded.
They are out making deliveries,
To those poor and needy in the inner city.
They said they had packages to dropp off.
Usually they are back no later than 2am.
I am so very proud of their efforts.
And the tremendous chances they take,
For such a worthy cause.'

Hes All Over Me
Chorus:
Hes all over me
And hes keeping me alive
Hes all over me
And hes keeping me alive
Hes all over me
And hes keeping me alive
I know he is keeping me alive
Hes keeping me aliveverse 1
Hes in my hands, hes in my feet
I can hardly keep my seat
Hes in my sprit, in my soul
I will never grow old
Hes in my heart, hes in my mind
Im glad that hes mine
Hes all over me, and hes keeping me alive
I know he is keeping me alive
Hes keeping me alive
Verse 2
Like the hebrew boys, thrown in the fiery furnace
Everybody thought it was over for them
But the lord brought them out on time
Hes the firm foundation
The God of all creation
Theres nothing that he wont do for you
If you trust him hell see you through
Chorus
Repeat verse 2
Chorus
Repeat verse 1
Hes on my right, hes on my left
Hes in my front and back
Hes over me and hes even by my side

Building up to success
Money, Power, Prestige, Prowess, Politics, Possessions, Prizes, and Ownership mean nothing to those that are truly successful. Success is accepting that nothing is good enough and realizing that every fall is a foundation to greater success.

Master of the Mysterious House!
Wind realizes that she must avoid the way
As the poor fellow builds a House!
Rain promised not to be there
Until he finishes the roof.
Sun gets up early to make his foundation strong.
And the Moon protects his innocent bricks
From the thieves in the night.
This Homeless built myriad of Houses
Along the unending cycle of Births & Deaths?
All were Museums now and the skeletons of Scarecrows
Remained there!
