There can be no assumption that today's majority is ""right"" and the Amish and others like them are ""wrong."" A way of life that is odd or even erratic but interferes with no rights or interests of others is not to be condemned because it is different.

The idea that 'the public interest' supersedes private interests and rights can have but one meaning that the interests and rights of some individuals take precedence over the interests and rights of others.
The very purpose of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution is to protect minority rights against majority voters. Every court decision that strikes down discriminatory legislation, including past Supreme Court decisions, affirming the fundamental rights to marry the person you love, overrules a majority decision.

The restriction of religion to private life therefore does not necessarily threaten the vital interests of the majority religion, if there is one, and it protects minority religions from tyranny of the majority.

Amish Paradise
As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain
I take a look at my wife and realize shes very plain
But thats just perfect for an amish like me
You know I shun fancy things like electricity
At 4:30 in the morning Im milkin cows
Jebediah feeds the chickens and jacob plows... fool
And Ive been milkin and plowin so long that
Even ezekiel thinks that my mind is gone
Im a man of the land, Im into discipline
Got a Bible in my hand and a beard on my chin
But if I finish all of my chores and you finish thine
Then tonight were gonna party like its 1699
We been spending most our lives
Living in an amish paradise
Ive churned butter once or twice
Living in an amish paradise
Its hard work and sacrifice
Living in an amish paradise
We sell quilts at a discount price
Living in an amish paradise
A local boy kicked me in the butt last week
I just smiled at him and I turned the other cheek
I really dont care, in fact I wish him well
cause Ill be laughing my head off when hes burning in hell
But I aint never punched a tourist even if he deserved it
An amish with a tude?
You know thats unheard of
I never wear buttons but I got a cool hat
And my homies agree
I really look good in black... fool
If you come to visit, youll be bored to tears
We havent even paid the phone bill in 300 years
But we aint really quaint, so please dont point and stare
Were just technologically impaired
Theres no phone, no lights, no motorcar
Not a single luxury
Like robinson caruso
Its as primitive as can be
We been spending most our lives
Living in an amish paradise
Were just plain and simple guys
Living in an amish paradise
Theres no time for sin and vice
Living in an amish paradise
We dont fight, we all play nice
Living in an amish paradise
Hitchin up the buggy, churnin lots of butter
Raised a barn on monday, soon Ill raise anutter
Think youre really righteous?
Think youre pure in heart?
Well, I know Im a million time as humble as thou art
Im the pious guy the little amlettes wanna be like
On my knees day and night scorin points for the afterlife
So dont be vain and dont be whiny
Or else, my brother, I might have to get medieval on your heinie
We been spending most our lives
Living in an amish paradise
Were all crazy mennonites
Living in an amish paradise
Theres no cops or traffic lights
Living in an amish paradise
But youd probably think it bites
Living in an amish paradise

I Wished Upon My Life Today
I wished upon my life today
I wean upon my life today
I bet upon my life today
I borrowed upon my life today
I feasted upon my life today
I fell upon my life today
I paid upon my life today
I plead upon my life today
I frowned upon my life today
I flew upon my life today
I smoked upon my life today
I shitted upon my life today
I pissed upon my life today
I pass upon my life today
I sneezed upon my life today
I sneaked upon my life today
I asked upon my life today
I ate upon my life today
I wept upon my life today
I won upon my life today.
I prayed upon my life today.

This Island Life
This teas too strong for me
As I await your company
I had too much sun today
Ocean waters wash away
Nothing but the present
Presenting its presence
This island life
Separate my right from my wrong
No I am not pagan
But my heart has been forsaken
And the hand of God was on my mind
It took some time from time to time
Now in the course I know
Time itself will go when
This island life
Separates my right from my wrong
You forgot your shoes and i
I have sent a message but i
Theres so many stars in the sky
Its the truths that will not lie
Theres a you wild native maiden
Running mad and barefoot to the sea until
This island life
Separates my rights from my wrongs
This island life
Finally separates my right from my wrong
This teas too strong for me
As I await more company
I had too much sun today
Dram of lands lying far away
Pregnant with the present
Presenting its presents
This island life
Separate my right from my wrong
This island life
Will separate my rights from my songs
Separate my right from my wrong

Multiculturalism
Multiculturalism is government appeasement for them,
For fear that a majority might make a minority feel condemned,
It’s the ultimate form of political correctness and trend,
In case racism might raise its ugly head and we can’t defend.
Multiculturalism is good except as a government stance,
It helps to keep the rest of us, heads bowed down, in a mild trance,
It helps to keep an unknown number of bureaucrats employed,
It helps keep a large number of poor Canadians annoyed.
There’s got to be a better way than government edict,
Because this involves supposed human rights and imposed conflict,
It can’t be done through religion because they don’t get along,
We need someone highly intelligent to tell us what’s wrong.

Right now, a majority of the debt is owed to foreign interests, Japan being the largest purchaser of government debt today, soon to be surpassed by China as the number one purchaser of our debt in this Nation.
The whole of the Bill of Rights is a declaration of the right of the people at large or considered as individuals... It establishes some rights of the individual as unalienable and which consequently, no majority has a right to deprive them of.

It is proof of a base and low mind for one to wish to think with the masses or majority, merely because the majority is the majority. Truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority of the people.

Dont You Think It's Time?
children have rights,
women have rights.
lovers have rights.
people of all religions,
and even atheists have rights.
people of all colors,
speaking every language have rights.
trees and rivers have rights.
cats and dogs have rights.
cattle have rights,
homeless people have rights.
prisoners have rights.
democrats and republicans have rights,
even socialists have rights.
the jobless have rights,
old people have rights...
and the hungry have
the right to be fed!
damnit! dont you think it's time?

Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual).
A hundred years ago, when Richard Strauss, who has already been quoted and already been heard today, and other creative people, laid the foundation stone for the joint assertion of their rights and interests, they had pioneering work ahead of them in Germany.

Erratic
They can not grasp
The onslaught of thought!
Erratic.
Dramatic destruction
Shows an ignorance taught!
Peace is not going to be won or bought...
By past actions of power.
This is not the hour,
For displays of that might.
It isolates the aggressor,
And promotes a call for more to fight!
Erratic behavior creates a stagnant insight.
And the stronger one weakens...
Losing all to a mental blight!
Erratic they are
Who believe such stances are right.
Goodbye say the allies,
Without a kiss to wish goodnight!

Before We Know It
We've got to fight for our interests,
And way of life.
We must continue to fight for our rights,
And maintain our dignity...
Throughout this crisis.
'He's too arrogant.
Too sharp and too wise.
He's too likeable and popular.
Too possessed with leadership qualities.
Sincere and honest and disciplined too.
And extremely intelligent as well.
He is just too efficent!
Too capable, responsible and accountable,
For his actions.
And yet he can not produce for us,
A video tape of his birth.
Or the moment of his conception.
Who here can say they have actually seen him,
Use any toilet, brush his teeth or has seen him nude! ?
How do we know he is who he says he is?
Besides that African connection!
Today...
Everybody wants to go back to Africa.
Nobody knew the place existed,
Before Bo Dereck created the braid and dread lock look!
We must protect and fight for our interests!
Before we know it...
They will be claiming and taking away,
'All' of our creations!
Including our electronic gagets..
And foreign cars we love to drive.'

Todays visit! ! !
In sunshine, winter or in rain
Today visits me once again
Today is my best friend
Always with me right to the very end
Today’s visit
Is as habitually the same
It is always an erratic game
Of ups and downs
Of smiles and frowns
Of highs and lows
Of “Hellos” and “Byes”
Today I treasure
With paramount pleasure
Today’s visit
I cannot comparatively measure

How Dim Can a Wit Be?
In a world
Where those of 'progress'
Have benefitted
From lives eroding in degradation.
I am often amused by the ones
Who express moralistic values.
And sit in judgement of others...
While condoning the killing of those,
Whose shores are invaded
As others from distances...
Declare these intrusions,
As acts of common interests.
And yet professing how terrorists...
Are threatening lands they have taken,
To administer their own selfish greed!
And shunning those who too have rights...
Who wish to live as neighbors.
But condemned.
Because of the color of their skins!
How dim can a wit be?
And still profess,
A superiority!
Growing shamelessly denied.
With a guilt that is numbed...
And medically supplied!

What Is A Fraud?
Interests of the people should always be conveyed as a whole.
While divisions indeed do exist, we can not let a select elite few dictate the choices for us all.
For the majority not a minority.
Let there be no seniority.
A special interests to those deemed appropriate by the paper strewn across the sky.
Which keeps being printed with no consequences in mind.
A ride that the lines keep getting longer each time.i
Soon no one will come for the wait itself because it is not worth the debate.
When the accomplishments are of a single entity with no defining merits of legitimacy.
The meaning of one word defines a lie spread abroad.
That is what we all know as a fraud.

The Minority Government
The wise are in minority.
The rulers are in minority
Rogues too are in minority.
So are captains and militants.
Teachers are in minority.
Bishops are in minority.
Juries too are minority.
So are smugglers and the rich.
Americans are in minority.
Human beings are in minority.
Minority rules the majority.
Minority rides the majority.
Majority yields to minority.
Majority fears the minority,
And loves to play the role of drudgery.
The sign of majority is slavery
