As far as luxury goes, about the only thing I do is... I go first class all the way. I live on the road, so when I'm out there, I'm getting the nice hotel suite, I'm getting the luxury car, I'm eating the good food, and I make sure I take care of myself on the road.

Bloody Luxury
(coverdale)
Now when I first met you
I was rolling along,
Just a bar room crooner
Singing heartbreak songs,
An I supposed I could never get next to you
But, you seemed quite happy with my company
You kept my body heat steady at 103,
With your mouth full of gimme
An your body full of much obliged
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Youre a five star woman,
An you know what to give
To fill a part time loser
Full of reasons to live,
But, theres no doubt about it
Im taking a chance on you
Becos you get my heart beating heavy,
Make my knees go weak
You get me so damn nervous
I can hardly speak,
But, nothings gonna stop me
Hanging on my good luck charm
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
What you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
Bloody luxury
Honey what you do to me
Its bloody luxury
What you mean to me,
cos no matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
No matter what you do to me,
Its bloody luxury
Bloody luxury
Bloody luxury...

Dipping Low
I went around the world till I found the right spot.
It was ultra sweet and just a little bit hot.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Now if you get down there you'll be doin' it right.
Yeah, once you got it you better hold on tight.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin' low in the lap of luxury.
Now if you wanna break down I'll hold my head up high.
I'm a good mechanic, I'll go over you in style.
Dippin low in the lap of luxury.
Dippin low in the lap of luxury.

The Luxury to apprehend
815
The Luxury to apprehend
The Luxury 'twould be
To look at Thee a single time
An Epicure of Me
In whatsoever Presence makes
Till for a further Food
I scarcely recollect to starve
So first am I supplied—
The Luxury to meditate
The Luxury it was
To banguet on thy Countenance
A Sumptuousness bestows
On plainer Days, whose Table far
As Certainty can see
Is laden with a single Crumb
The Consciousness of Thee.

You cannot spend money in luxury without doing good to the poor. Nay, you do more good to them by spending it in luxury, than by giving it; for by spending it in luxury, you make them exert industry, whereas by giving it, you keep them idle.

Lap Of Luxury
The money wont last forever ---
Rent man called twice today.
I hope some day youll find me
In the lap of luxury.
Searched for a new apartment
But they dont grow on trees.
Just want to lay my head
In the lap of luxury.
Stepped out on a new horizon ---
Felt a new spring in my feet.
Found a job, it could set me up
Dangling in the lap of luxury.
And the gaffer is a man of substance ---
Drives a jag and takes high tea.
Lives beyond the industrial wasteland,
Laughing in the lap of luxury.
I need money, now, to soothe my heart!
Buy me a datsun or toyota ---
Get the tax man to agree
All expenses I can muster
From the lap of luxury.

Such luxury is not for me. for friend Thad
A marble floor that’s silken smooth
and walls of carven cedar wood.
What does such ostentation prove?
I do not know but feel I should.
Such luxury is not for me
I am contented with my lot.
I make no effort to impress
I have sufficient for my needs.
It matters not that I have less
than those who feel they must succeed
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
I see no reason to display
I much prefer my privacy.
I live my life in my own way
Accepting life’s reality
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
Though I indulge in fantasy
from time to time like everyone
I know it’s not reality
only a dream that’s quickly gone.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot.
I earn my living honestly
although I’m just an artisan
Better to live quietly
as befits a simple man.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot
A marble floor that’s silken smooth
and walls of carven cedar wood.
What does such ostentation prove?
Something I’ve never understood.
Such luxury is not for me.
I am contented with my lot.

Her Majesty's Prison Low Moss
Welcome to our brand new home,
It's everything and more,
En-suite bathrooms covered in chrome,
Nothing in here is a chore.
No mortgage, council tax or rent,
All-inclusive is our pad,
In our quest for more we'll not relent,
Society has gone bloody mad.
Drugs and drink all on hand,
While the recession's making you gaunt,
Nothing we want in here is banned,
Our criminality we love to flaunt.
Flat screen TVs with satellite,
A licence we don't need,
Fed like a Lord both day and night,
They supply our every need.
Life is bliss in our luxury gaffe,
But somehow we'll get by,
We know you think we're having a laugh,
But in here sadness doesn't apply.
We'd love to thank you for being so kind,
But in truth we couldn't care less,
It's our aim in life to be confined,
That's why we all transgress.
Do you really believe a luxury cell,
Will help our souls to mend,
Being crime free is like living in hell,
That's why we re-offend.
You compensate us for committing crime,
It just doesn't make any sense,
It's part of the reason we love doing time,
Your powerbrokers must be dense.
We will always end up back in here,
It's like a holiday without the sun,
To the law of the land we will never adhere,
Being in prison is so much fun.
So we thank you for our new hotel,
It's the ultimate place to doss,
While you're struggling we'll all sleep well,
In,
‘' Her Majesty's Prison, Low Moss ‘'

THY GREATNESS HAS INSPIRED MEN!
THY MIGHT IS EVIDENT IN THY WEALTH!
THY LUXURIANT WAYS SPEAK FOR THEE IN MANY NATIONS!
THY RICHESS ARE GOTTEN OF THY INTELLIGENCE!
THY WAYS HAS SHOWN MEN THE WAY TO LUXURY!
LUXOR! OH LUXOR! !
TAKE ME WITH YOU ON THY MANY JOURNEYS INTO AGES OF LUXURY!
LET ME NOT BE LEFT BEHIND IN SQUALOR! OH LUXOR! !
LET THY LUXURY BE MADE MANIFEST IN ME AS WELL!

At cross road
Never but at cross road,
Are we at cross road?
Is there any load?
Why not we meet?
Even at cross road.
Are we blood thirsty?
And care for no one,
who may come but none?
Doesn’t concern everyone?
Even at cross road.
Can we not share?
Misery and poverty,
happiness and unhappiness,
hunger and roofless human,
even at cross road.
Why do we cut?
Burn the green forest,
and big trees,
do we want disaster?
Even at cross road.
Rain is scarce,
food also less,
nature is finished,
no bloom for ever,
even at cross road.
Why do we cut throat?
Merely for greed,
does the religion preach?
Priests or heads just teach
Even at cross road.
I may not survive,
peace may not revive,
nobody will also survive,
we will soon be extinct,
even at cross road.
Time is running out,
Still human race is not out,
We may still be in,
Kindness may be over,
Even at cross road,
Life is worth to live in,
forget not but just be in,
embrace but not embarrass them,
help but not reject them
Even at cross road.
We May still not adopt,
remain at large but not still opt,
is the nature so cruel?
Kill and get also killed?
Even at cross road

Somewhere Down The Road
(Wayne Kirkpatrick/Amy Grant)
So much pain and no good reason why
You cried until the tears run dry
Nothing else can make you understand
The one thing that you held so dear
Is slipping from your hand
And you say
Why, why, why
Does it go this way
And why, why, why
And all I can say is
Somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
And they will have the answers
At the end of the road
Yesterday I thought I'd seen it all
I thought I'd climbed the highest wall
But now I see that learning never ends
And all I know to do is keep on walking
'Round the bend
Singing
Why, why, why
Does it go this way
Why, why, why
And all I can say is
Somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
And they will hold the answers
At the end of the road
Somewhere, somewhere down
And somewhere down the road
There'll be answers to the questions
Somewhere down the road
Though we cannot see it now
And somewhere down the road
You will find mighty arms reaching for you
They will have the answers
At the end of the road
They will have the answers
At the end of the road
Somewhere down the road, yeah
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere down the road
Why, why, why
There will be arms reaching, down the road
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere
Oooh

The Luxury
Zoo Lion sobers up and starts to scream and shout
A little dose of home-fire got him all smoothed out
Melancholy wine-soaked tenderness
She hated it here and she couldn't care less
Prisonyard stares and Fleur-De-lis tattoos
Cannibal are saving all their bones for soup
Eating with my fingers and sucking hulls of ships
My parasite don't deserve no better than this
The Golden Rim Motor Inn
Soft water and a color TV
So consumed with the shape I'm in
Can't enjoy the luxury
She says

Nice Brand New Car...
inside the nice brand new luxury car
(and hence very expensive) rides a body that drives smoothly on the
road to the sin city,
inside the tinted glass window with a remote control
screams his rotten soul....

First Epigram: Upon Being Contented with a Little
1 We deem them moderate, but Enough implore,
2 What barely will suffice, and ask no more:
3 Who say, (O Jove) a competency give,
4 Neither in Luxury, or Want we'd live.
5 But what is that, which these Enough do call?
6 If both theIndies unto some should fall,
7 Such Wealth would yet Enough but onely be,
8 And what they'd term not Want, or Luxury.
9 Among the Suits, O Jove, my humbler take;
10 A little give, I that Enough will make.

The founder of the universe, who assigned to us the laws of life, provided that we should live well, but not in luxury. Everything needed for our well-being is right before us, whereas what luxury requires is gathered by many miseries and anxieties. Let us use this gift of nature and count it among the greatest things.
Sun C/79
Sun is the reason
And the world it will bloom
Cause sun lights the sky
And the sun lights the moon
Sun is the reason
All the happy trees are green
Then who can explain
The light in your dream
Sit you down
Sit you down young gentleman
Theres something I want you to know
You keep on asking me
You keep on asking me why
Why are we here?
It started a long time ago
Me and your mum on the night
Yeh yeh yeh ..we met
I was on the road again
She was in c79
Ill never never forget
Ill never forget that night no..
We met in a back road
Behind the stage
She had the best figure by far
Huh a thousand hours Ive looked at her eyes but i
Still dont know what color they are
Me & your mum on the night
Oh lord. we met
I was on the road again
She was in c79
She was a junkie then
And I was having a good time
Back on the road again
Oh momma I was on the road again
Back in suite 79
Ill never never forget
Ill never forget that time
Back on the road again
Oh Im travelling that line
I was a pop star then
Im still having a good time

Travels
The road up to the Acropolis
Winds around the hills
And the souvenirs carried their treat
Like a famous puzzle in the heart.
In the future Turks will make a new way
To the recent joy and pills are not made
To make him go up that way
To the Acropolis.
Inside my heart is the proud mistake
I managed to speak of the world of Tissues,
Of bodies that concert blameworthy sighs
Of ill-health, of distress and any hotel of luxury.
I am now glorious, like a cushion in a bedroom
With a Turk who loved my harbour:
Inside is the really fun part, the organ
Called the Heart.

Road To Nowhere
I tried to hang on for as long as I could
But now I can see that it just aint no good
Our love it has wasted
Right down to the core
Whatever we had
We dont have anymore
Youve got to get off a road to nowhere
Youve got to get off a road to nowhere
Well I tried and I tried to make things work out right
But I guess were two people who cant help but fight
Your eyes they are open
And oh so are mine
We both need our freedom
Dont you think its about time
Im trying to get off this road to nowhere
Im trying to get off this road to nowhere
(lead)
Thank you for the good times weve had in the past
But we both know enough to know good times dont last
Baby youre just no good for me
And Im no good for you
Lets not waste our time talkin
We both know what to do
Weve got to get off this road to nowhere
Its time to get off this road to nowhere
Youve got to get off this road to nowhere
Weve got to get off this road to nowhere

From Luxury To Heartache
Luxury and heartache
Oh yeah
Oh luxury and heartache
Oh yeah
I wont be coming home tomorrow
Nobody there to catch my tears
I wont be leaving tears of sorrow anymore
I played that game for so many years
If I cry, will you catch my fall
Do you want me to be the same
If I cry, will you catch my fall
Am I playing the losers game?
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way to find that you were mourning
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way you gave me little warning
She will be there to give you children, yes she will
She will be there to make you sing, sing, sing
I wont be standing in the shadows anymore
I learned to cover up my pain
If I cry will you catch my fall
Do you want me to be the same
If I cry will you catch my fall
Am I playing the losers game?
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way to find that you were mourning
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way you gave me little warning
Gave me love
You gave your love to me
You gave me love
But its not enough for me
Oh luxury
But all you give me is pain
Again and again
Luxury is sweet and so cool
If I cry will you catch my fall
Do you want me to be the same
If I cry will you catch my fall
Am I playing the losers game?
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way to find that you were mourning
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way you gave me little warning
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way to find that you were mourning
From luxury to heartache
Such a long way you gave me, gave me no warning

Bound No’th Blues
Goin’ down the road, Lawd,
Goin’ down the road.
Down the road, Lawd,
Way,way down the road.
Got to find somebody
To help me carry this load.
Road’s in front o’ me,
Nothin’ to do but walk.
Road’s in front of me,
Walk…an’ walk…an’ walk.
I’d like to meet a good friend
To come along an’ talk.
Hates to be lonely,
Lawd, I hates to be sad.
Says I hates to be lonely,
Hates to be lonely an’ sad,
But ever friend you finds seems
Like they try to do you bad.
Road, road, road, O!
Road, road…road…road, road!
Road, road, road, O!
On the no’thern road.
These Mississippi towns ain’t
Fit fer a hoppin’ toad.
