Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts.

An act of poetry
Ruin is what we need –
Despair is what we feed
Upon in poetry
A shock resets the nerves –
Helps remould the curves
Of written art
Catharsis helps portray –
Acting out a play
On expurgation
Tears or hidden fears
Release the bottled years
To ink a page:
The pen be our salvation.

Moral Fiber!
true moral fiber...
is grounded in respect!
respect yourself!
respect the earth!
respect your neighbor!
(everyone is your neighbor)
respect the search for truth.
respect justice!
respect the rights of human beings
to be human beings!
respect the need of each and all!
living thus...
will not allow you to respect,
acts of injustice,
acts of ignorance,
acts of prejudice,
acts of greed!
be respect!

Men acquire a particular quality by constantly acting a particular way...you become just by performing just actions, temperate by performing temperate actions, brave by performing brave actions.

Malicious acts are performed by people for personal gain … Sorcerers, though, have an ulterior purpose for their acts, which has nothing to do with personal gain. The fact that they enjoy their acts does not count as gain. Rather, it is a condition of their character. The average man acts only if there is a chance for profit. Warriors say they act not for profit but for the spirit.

Be more than a pet
In love with my pet, I did many acts,
Sensing that it liked each of my acts.
It was not to condemn but ready to amend,
When it disapproved of any of my acts,
For it knows my pulse and throbs.
As I hold you, dear, as more than a pet
Can you ditch me for any shortfall?
Is not it a fault of your closed mindedness?
Be superior to, and kinder than, a pet.

One might have thought the world would stop ascribing moral equivalence between acts of terrorism and acts of punishing terrorism. It has not happened that way.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.
History, although sometimes made up of the few acts of the great, is more often shaped by the many acts of the small.
There used to be a lot of acts, which was good, because people don't want to see the same act every night. But, you don't want too many acts, you don't want to over-saturate it.

Man Who Acts
Here is a man who acts and asks questions of certain acts,
These actions we observe of this person are invisible artifacts.

Because of the diverse conditions of humans, it happens that some acts are virtuous to some people, as appropriate and suitable to them, while the same acts are immoral for others, as inappropriate to them.

The ultimate end of human acts is eudaimonia, happiness in the sense of living well, which all men desire; all acts are but different means chosen to arrive at it.

God is a referee
Fire is to burn and he will burn,
No matter who is the victim.
Air is to fill and he will fill
All the space without prejudice.
Water is to wash that it does
With no relevance to the places.
The earth is to bear that it does,
With no bias to the kickers.
It’s their nature, hence their virtues.
The ground is not accountable
For the goals scored or wounds sustained.
The collective acts of the players
Result the individuals’ fate.
Bound by fire, air, water and the earth,
One’s rise and fall is the result
Of the collective acts of the live force.
The God is mere a referee.

Words worth
'His little, nameless, unremembered acts
of kindness and of love...': so Wordsworth sings;
and if I may a word-play thus extract:
HIS acts and words are worth remembering...

Xerxes
Petty jobs and sanitations,
From Kasua to Makola!
But it is like living in the den of wild wolves;
For odious and irksome are the attitudes of the people.
Petty jobs and sanitations,
From Agbogbloshi to Mallam Atta!
But with the mass order of churches without any moral charge;
And like the irksome attitudes of most of us on this earth.
Wolves in sheep skin!
Like a pastor caught with swallowed pallets of heroin;
For another day of the human history is recorded,
And like the odious and the irksome acts of the people.
The sadism and the lexicographical work,
'Di wo ho ni'! !
And let us make patience a valued habit.
I am Xerxes and i know my way and rules,
But the acts of this people looks so odd to me!
However, we still have to teach many to understand the real meaning of life.
