Potentially he could be. He scored the goal four years ago in France against Argentina that was extraordinary.

29th February 2012
They all lost faith in the game,
And the hope of winning the game was over!
But, i never gave up;
And i kept on pushing harder towards the goal post;
For in this life,
Nothing is impossible and, impossible is nothing! !
Forward ever!
Without looking at the right side or the left side;
So, i moved forward and kicked the ball into the net!
Then, i scored the goal to win the match.
Yes, we won the game and the Cup was given to me because,
I was the captain of the team.
It was 29th February 2012,
And we won the game at the very lasrt minute to end the game!
Yes, the very time that everybody lost hope in the game;
But i never gave up my hope and, i scored the winning goal! !

Judges Have Their Druthers And Ireland Howled
Thierry Henry touched the ball,
by ref unseen, and wasn’t fouled;
the world observed the ref not call
a penalty, and Ireland howled.
Once Maradona claimed the hand
of God had scored the winning goal;
because God’s head is in the sand
rule breakers often are made whole.
Some of us go out with calls
that shouldn’t have been made, but others
go out because there are huge walls
of silence. Judges have their druthers.
Lynn Zinser writes about a foul committed by Thierry Henry which enabled France to become eligible for the World Cup in soccer in 20010, while causing Ireland to be eliminated (“Add Thierry Henry to List of Sports Villains, ” NYT, December 2,2009) :
Move over Bill Belichick, the sporting world has a new lead villain. In the United States at least, he will seem an unlikely one, because beyond being the handsome soccer player in that Gillette ad with Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, Thierry Henry isn’t exactly a household name. But in the tiniest second it took Henry to nudge the soccer ball with his hand toward his foot to set up France’s winning goal in a World Cup qualifier against Ireland, he became globally hated. The aggravating factors in this scenario are that Henry a) is French, which gives a lot of people a running head start on hating him and b) admitted using his hand while shrugging off responsibility for Ireland’s fate by saying, basically, “Tough noogies.”This has not gone over well, particularly in Britain, where the headlines are brutal. That’s because Henry’s “Hand Gaul” (love those British headlines!) snuffed out the hopes of a plucky Irish squad trying to make its first World Cup since 2002, where their team highlight was the star player Roy Keane getting in a dustup with the coach. Now they’ll be known for being robbed by Henry, and Henry, as Martin Rogers writes on Yahoo.com, will forever be known as a cheat on par with Argentina’s Diego Maradona, who has taken the opposite tack and refuses to own up to the 1986 “Hand of God” goal.If he actually cared about such things, Belichick might consider sending Henry a hoodie in thanks for taking him off the top of the most-

Maradona as Coach Maradona
I can't see Argentina's future in this world cup. I am writing this poem being a fan of Maradona and Argentina football team.
Now you an old lion
Still a hunter
But don’t go for hunting in groups,
You are preparing others to hunt for you.
You have kept beard during the world cup
But that can’t hide the anxiety and pride of your face.
Standing beside the side line
You watch the football of Argentina
With conscious long wait
For another Argentine goal.
Tevez, Milito, Veron can’t ignore your presence,
Even Messi follows your shadow of football magic,
Can they uplift the cup
That you once held in your heavenly hands?
Mexico, Germany, Korea –
Tough opponents everywhere
Can your soccer boys beat them all
To progress in this tournament?
Key of future has the answer,
As for now,
All I can say,
Good luck, ‘Coach Maradona’!

Eva's Final Broadcast
Eva: The actress hasn't learned the lines you'd like to hear
She's sad for her country
Sad to be defeated by her own weak body
I want to tell the people of Argentina
I've decided I should decline
All the honors and titles you've pressed me take
For I'm contented
Let me simply go on as the women who brings her people
To the heart of Peron
Don't cry for me Argentina
The truth is I shall not leave you
Though it may get harder for you to see me
I'm Argentina and always will be
Have I said too much
There's nothing more I can think of to say to you
But all you have to do is look at me to know
That every word is true

We arrived in Argentina with a lot of injured players, including our goalkeeper. Also we were unlucky to be drawn in the same group as the two tournament favourites Italy and Argentina.

Scoring Goals
I have a goal or score to make,
In the end there is a solution.
Their activities range from slow to fast
And the stages for excellence are many.
But teams must be picked, dangers solved,
Before a successful action arises from the soul.
Inside the bones of contention is the formula,
With this formula a goal is scored and the game won.

It could be said that the AIDS pandemic is a classic own-goal scored by the human race against itself.
The greatest goal of all time
I've seen lots of great goals
some to take your breath away
I recall one from many years ago
that has stayed with me to this day.
The player had the ball at his feet
cutting through the defence like a sword
beating player after player with ease
the whole ground stood to applaud.
I've witnessed individual goals
and some created by most of the team
but the greatest one I've ever seen?
was by myself in a beautiful lucid dream.
I was playing for England against Brazil
the crowd was roaring out my name
it was the World Cup Final at Wembley
two all with a minute left in the game.
I then tackled and robbed Pele of the ball
and I went on a long and mazy run
it ended with me hitting home the winner
'What a goal' read the headline in the Sun.
I lifted up the Jules Rimet Trophy
got carried round the pitch shoulder high
but when Pele said my goal was the greatest
I just fell to my muddy knees to cry.
It's been said that dreams can come true
and that's a saying I know to be right
because that 'dream' goal I scored at Wembley
was voted best ever goal on the telly last night!

Potentially
Standing here helplessly looking at what i breathe
Two arms stretched out like breaking elastic
Reaching out for something beyond the curve of the earth
The power is within my palms, waiting potentially
My two legs dominate the ground like parched sand
They are strong like the branch of a red wood tree
The ground below is tired of holding my still mass
The Power is within my feet, waiting potentially
Willpower serves as my very wings, almost angelic
Imagination is like space itself, yes limitless
My eyes capture the land like an expensive camera
The power is within my mind, waiting potentially
The air around is peaceful like a dormant sea
I sit down on my own footprints and stare
Yes stare into the vastness of an endless surrounding
The power is mine, the power is the blood in my veins
Waiting Potentially!

A New Argentina
Peron: Dice are rolling the knives are out
Would be presidents are all around
I don't say they mean harm but they'd each give an arm
To see us six feet underground
Eva: It doesn't matter what those morons say
Our nation's leaders are a feeble crew
There's only 20 of them anyway
What is 20 next to millions who are looking to you
All you have to do is sit and wait
Keeping out of everybody's way
We'll-you'll be handed power on a plate
When the ones who matter have their say
And with chaos installed
You can reluctantly agree to be called
Peron: There again we could be foolish not to quit while we're ahead
For distance lends enchantment and that is why
All exiles are distinguished more important they're not dead
I could find job satisfaction in Paraguay
Eva: This is crazy defeatest talk
Why commit political suicide
There's no risk there's no call for any action at all
When you have unions on your side
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be denied
Eva: There is only one man who can lead any worker's regime
He lives for your problems he shares your ideals and your dream
He supports you for he loves you understands you in one of you
If not how could he love me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the worker's battle song
A new Argentina the voice of the people rings out loud and long
Eva: Now I am a worker I've suffered the way that you do
I've been unemployed and I've starved and I've hated it too
But I found my salvation in Peron may the nation
Let him save them as he saved me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina a new age about to begin
A new Argentina we face the world together no dissent within
Peron: There again we could be foolish not to quit while we're ahead
I can see us many miles away inactive
Sipping cocktails on a terrace taking breakfast in bed
Sleeping easy doing nothing it's attractive
Eva: Don't think I don't think like you
I often get thos nightmares too
They always take some swallowing
Sometimes it's very difficult to keep momentum if it's you that you are following
Don't close doors keep an escape clause
Because we might lose the Big Apple
But would I have done what I did if I hadn't thought if I hadn't known
We would take the country
Peron has resigned from the army and this we avow
The descamisados are those he is marching with now
He supports you for he loves you understands you is one of you
If not how could he love me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be and must not be denied
Che: How annoying that they have to fight elections for their cause
The inconvenience of having to get a majority
If normal methods of persuasion fail to win them applause
There are other ways of establishing authority
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be and must not be and will not be denied

Epidemic diseases usually elicit a call to ban the entry of foreigners, immigrants. And xenophobic propaganda has always depicted immigrants as bearers of disease… Such is the extraordinary potency and efficacy of the plague metaphor: it allows a disease to be regarded both as something incurred by vulnerable "others" and as (potentially) everyone's disease.

Chance is the might
We were all the time in their court
But it is they who scored the winning goal
By a solitary flitter, straight at our post.
Yes, the chance is mightier than the might.

Extraordinary
Extraordinary
The love u make 2 me its some kind of scary
I would b a fool 2 leave u 4 I was born 2 love u
This is true
Extraordinary
The way u make me feel
Im so very glad its real
And not a dream
Even though it seems I am dreaming
People try 2 break us up
Valentines a little rough
But we survived cos we had a love
Extraordinary
Id give the world 2 u
Each and every thing u do is so very nice
U make my clock tick 12 twice
Then disappear time and everything else
When u r near
Extraordinary

Dear Motherland Of France
DEDICATED TO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF FRANCE
Our Motherland, dear Motherland,
The source of beauty and of Art,
Who but thy children understand
The love which permeates each heart!
We see, through rainbow-tints of tears,
Thy glory of a thousand years.
O country of the Great and Free,
We live for thee, we live for thee,
Dear Motherland of France.
O Motherland, both blithe and brave,
What magic lies in thy name-France!
Yet can thy radiant mien be grave,
And stern thy ever-smiling glance.
And when thy sons and daughters know
That enemies would lay thee low
And dim thy fame on land and sea,
We fight for thee, we fight for thee,
Dear Motherland of France.
Dear Motherland of joy and mirth,
Dear Motherland of faith divine,
A thousand years the wondering earth
Has seen thy star in splendour shine.
Still shall it see that star of France
Its splendour and its light enhance.
Dear Motherland, when it need be
We die for thee, we die for thee,
Dear Motherland of France.

Christ said, "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you." And the Indians say that and the Zen people say that. We're all God. I'm not a god or the God, but we're all God and we're all potentially divine — and potentially evil. We all have everything within us and the Kingdom of Heaven is nigh and within us, and if you look hard enough you'll see it.

Miss Argentina
Her skin is copper and her voice is spanish red
Her vibe is golden till her anger kills it dead
She wants the world to see
A body rich in harmony
A mouth cruel as death
She rides a fantasy she hasnt tested yet
She looks in every mirror to check her silhouette
The turning heads
The honking horns
Gave proof to her
Since she was born
That love is her game
She loves me, miss argentina
Though she hides behind her smile
She runs free, miss argentina
Dripping blood
With lots of style
She loves to stay in bed and watch the movies play
She wants a husband who will worship and obey
The moods that she enjoys like childrens games and football toys
She laughs without shame
She likes the military and the rolling stones
Her little brother has a t-shirt from ramones
Shes shy and sensitive and doesnt know the tougher games
But boy can she love
Shes easy, miss argentina
A masterpiece without a frame
She runs free, miss argentina
But venus is a dangerous game
She saves my spirit with a humanistic light
Shes greedy, lazy and impossible to like
She dresses sexually
And shes afraid of many things
Like being alone
Shes back with mother now
Shes over twenty-five
I tried to keep her, but she buried me alive
In love and birth and jealousy
And every emotion totally freed
Screaming at once
But she loves me, miss argentina
While she hides behind her smile
She runs free, miss argentina
Dripping blood with lots of style
Shes lovely, miss argentina
A masterpiece without a frame
Shes easy, miss argentina
But venus is a dangerous game
