It may be said with a degree of assurance that not everything that meets the eye is as it appears.

There's More To Me Than Meets The Eye
There's more to me than meets the eye
Look closely, I too also cry
There's more to me than meets the eye
I swear to God and that's no lie
There's more to me than meets the eye
Get a chance to know me then decide
There's more to me than meets the eye
What the eyes percieves isn't always right
There's more to me than meets the eye
I'll be that guy on whom you can always rely
There's more to me than meets the eye
I still believe in love, happiness and rainbows in the sky
There's more to me than meets the eye
Behind all this, I'm a shy guy
There's more to me than meets the eye
Give me a chance to be a part of your life
There's more to me than meets the eye
I'll give you my heart, in which you'll reside
There's more to me than meets the eye
I look into yours and feel alive
There's more to me than meets the eye
Reminicing on the first time we met, and those cheesy lines. To my face it brings a smile.
There's more to me than meets the eyes
Without you in my life I'd rather die
There's more to me than meets the eye
Now that I've told you, do you believe in us.

Unicorn 12
where the unlimited meets the limited,
and the unimagined meets the imagined;
where the unseen meets the seen,
and the eye meets the heart;
where the earth meets the seed,
and the seed meets the root;
where the root meets the earth;
and the flower meets the air;
where the heart meets the thought,
and the thought meets the sound;
where the sound meets the word;
and the word meets the voice;
where joy arises,
and where sorrow ends;
where love arises,
and the world is one;
where magic lives,
and miracles are law;
where childhood lives
and freedom is always now,
the unicorn is.

One Little Victory
A certain measure of innocence
willing to appears naive
a certain degree of imagination
a measure of make-beleive
a certain degree of surrender
to the forces of light and heat
a shot of satisfaction
Celebrate the moment
as it turns into one more
another chance at victory
another chance to score
the measure of the moment
is a difference of degree
just one little victory
a spirite breaking free
one little victory
the greatest act can be one little victory
a certain measure of righteousness
a certain amout of force
a certain degree of determination
daring on a different course
acertain amout of resistance
to the force of life and love
a certain measure of tolerence
a willingness to rise above

An Isn't...Is!
An isn't...
Is!
When that isn't...
Appears.
An isn't...
Is!
When that isn't...
Appears.
Cheating spouses,
Who run about...
To play a cat and mouse,
Out of the house.
Often lie,
When they can...
To hide unfaithfulness from eyes that scan.
But that isn't...
Is!
When that isn't appears.
Oh yes that isn't,
Is...
When that isn't appears!
Those downlow and attempting discreet...
Play it cheap,
While sneaking under sheets.
Be they lesbians or homos too,
Cruising darkened streets to do what they do...
To hide an isn't...
That is!
When they say what isn't,
Appears.
Oh yes that isn't,
Is...
When that isn't appears!
You can say that isn't,
Is!
When that isn't,
Appears!

Urges of lust
Sexual urge meets with the coitus.
Carnal urge meets with the bites.
Bio-urge meets with the impregnation.
Psycho-sex urge meets with the child-care
And socio-sex urge meets with self welfare.
Lust is the force behind.
Lust is the source for all forces.

Qualified to Make Productive Contributions
Do you have a degree?
'A degree in what? '
You know?
Something that validates your intelligence!
'Oh...
Something that documents my discipline,
And education?
Something that verifies my verity,
To conform to the wholesomeness of humanity.
And I am now qualified to make productive contributions?
My life lived,
Has already provided the requirements.'
Uh...yeah...I guess.
Whatever that was you said.
'And...
I imagine you have at least 'one' degree? '
Of course!
I got me two.
And I'm gon' get me a job that pays.
'Hopefully not to teach English!
And...
Suppose I did not have that 'degree'.
Would that make my efforts less credible?
Would that make a fame or notoriety less worthy?
IF...
I should pursue that route.
I know this is difficult for you to believe...
But a degree doesn't measure my success felt.
And I feel pretty damn successful! '
So...
You 'do' have a degree?
'You've missed my point entirely.
And you...
Have been depicted as a scholar?
God...
Thank you for opening my mind,
And doors! '
OH!
So you've studied to be a minister?

Degree In Life
There are some people
both old and young.
They’ve done something once
and the next minute they know all about it.
They say they have degrees in this and that.
In the biggest degree of them all
they have all fallen flat.
With the degree of life,
you first have to live it,
before you can get awarded that.
You have to suffer all
the indignations and pains
that there are there,
all the joys and the happiness,
triumphs can share.
You have to look into
the darkest soul
and know what goes on in there.
As for those who say they know it all,
those are the ones who have just stopped wetting the bed.
You’ll never have that degree
until you start living
and stop saying the world loves me.
Some say I’ve taken drugs.
What the hell has that got to do with it.
It only goes to show one thing,
how weak minded you are.
It isn’t a mark on the degree of life.
A degree of life measures
how strong you are in mind
and not how many
hallucinations you’ve had in your head.

In That Corner Is The Soup
I have a degree from Harvard.
'I have a degree from Yale.'
~I have a degree from Columbia.
With a Master's packed in my sack.
To prove that I prevailed.~
**That's great.
All of you should feel extremely proud.
Now...
Here is the scoop,
Your bowls are over there.
And in that corner is the soup! **

When Good Meets Evil
When good meets evil the world twist into one.
When good turns bad the earth is right again.
When your mean im nice and im sound.
You try to make the world go round.
When good meets evil the moon meets the sun.
When good meets evil life truly has become.
Real or Fake?
Nice or Mean?
Love is rough.
Love is dumb.
When good meets evil love has truly won.

Favourite Shirts
Time can't afford no time
Can't afford the rhyme
Nevermind, someday maybe
Boy meets girl
And love, love is on it's way
Boy meets girl
Boy meets girl
Bang, feel a little love
Carino dime
Never mind, someday terry
Feel the pain
Hit, feel, rap, sweat
Why, feel the floor
Sweets for my way
Boy meets girl
Boy meets girl
Why, feel the floor
Sweets for my way
Boy meets girl
Boy meets girl
Feel the rhyme
Take the time
Go fighting to the top
Go number one
Stick a honeybun
Your mind begins to flop
How take in steam
Recall your dream
Hey camisas
Your favourite shirt is on the bed
Do a somersault on your head

A Boy Like Me, A Girl Like You (#4)
When a boy like me meets a girl like you
Then I must believe wishes come true
I just look at you and I touch your hand
And this ordinary world becomes a wonderland
There are many girls I have met before
But I pass them by because I knew
There would be this magic moment,
One to last a lifetime through
When a boy like me meets a girl like you
When a boy like me meets a girl like you

It Appears To Be That Way
Wait a minute.
Aren't they the same incompetent people,
Expressing with confidence...
Why they have a lack of competence?
'It appears to be that way.'
Is this the change being made,
We all can believe in?
'It appears to be that way.'
Is this the 'light',
Coming to poke holes through the darkness?
'It appears to be that way.'
Is this the rainbow that has come,
After relentless storms of anguish?
'It appears to be that way.'
Have you been affected by total disbelief,
And you are doing the best you can...
To stay on your own two feet.
And my voice you can hear,
But your consciousness has left...
To leave you unsure of your own footsteps?
'It appears to be that way.'
Hang in there.
But just don't stand planted,
To become more twisted by shifting winds.
'What are you saying?
I should be doing something else...
Other than just to hang in there?
With a going to somewhere with purpose? '
It appears to be that way.

When the Light Appears
You'll bare your bones you'll grow you'll pray you'll only know
When the light appears, boy, when the light appears
You'll sing & you'll love you'll praise blue heavens above
When the light appears, boy, when the light appears
You'll whimper & you'll cry you'll get yourself sick and sigh
You'll sleep & you'll dream you'll only know what you mean
When the light appears, boy, when the light appears
You'll come & you'll go, you'll wander to and fro
You'll go home in despair you'll wonder why'd you care
You'll stammer & you'll lie you'll ask everybody why
You'll cough and you'll pout you'll kick your toe with gout
You'll jump you'll shout you'll knock you're friends about
You'll bawl and you'll deny & announce your eyes are dry
You'll roll and you'll rock you'll show your big hard cock
You'll love and you'll grieve & one day you'll come believe
As you whistle & you smile the lord made you worthwhile
You'll preach and you'll glide on the pulpit in your pride
Sneak & slide across the stage like a river in high tide
You'll come fast or come on slow just the same you'll never know
When the light appears, boy, when the light appears

Steel Meets Steel
Back in 1095, when the call to arms came
We had the red cross sown on
Sent to save the holy land and crush the infidels
With strength from above
Steel meets steel
On towards victory we march, the guiding star
Lead us to the battle field
There, the heathens were subdued, and in the end
We forced them all to yield or die
Steel meets steel
In july in 99, the holy city was stormed and won
Jerusalem was freed, we thanked the lord for our glory
We, the templars, have survived by honor and pride
And the blessing of the sword
The quest of the war, forever sung
To the sound of steel meets steel
Steel meets steel

Speechless And Blank Space
a speechless woman
meets her blank space as she
rides on a glass windowed bus
back home
she steps outside
her world
embraces love and hate
both to same degree
she sets aside all words
in favor of thoughts
she sits facing the mountains
and then the sea
it is all in her head
and there is no space for writing
that's why. Yes, that is the reason why
she married
solitude.

You Will Always Be The Same
Go on to the street to the cars in the pouring rain
Go on to the bus that left us in the dust and the flames
And when the son meets the father
It'll be something smarter for the pain
But you will always be the same
You will always be the same
Go on little girl, feet twirl, go and make him smile
Go on like the rumbling drums of the march of time
And when the son meets the dad
It'll be pretty bad for the pain
But you'll always be the same
You will always be the same
You will always be the same
Go on to the ones with the smoking guns in the heat
Go on to the wars we won, they came home, they made up
And when the father meets the son,
And the blood makes us better than the gain
You will always be the same

Twilight
I look into his eyes, there are closed
But I see something.
A teacher told me why, I laugh
When old men cry.
My body grows and grows,
It fightens me you know.
The old man tried to walk me home.
I thought he should have known.
Twilight,
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, night and day.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).
Im running in the rain.
Im caught in a late night play.
Its all and everything.
Im soaking through the skin.
Twilight, darkened day.
Twilight, lost my way.
Twilight, cant find my way.
(in the shadow boy meets man
In the shadow boy meets man).

Don't Be Like The Others
Break- ups are rife
Break-downs are on the rise
Things are beyond comprehension
The situation is creating apprehension
With little real reprehension
We have come from far
How far will we go?
In light of this confusion
Confronted by this social contagion
One ponder over this plausible questions
Is there anything called love?
Am I going to be the next?
Are we going to survive?
I have cause to be concerned
I can neither stand rejection
Nor endure dejection
Thus my passionate plea
My pretty pet
Give me the assurance
That assurance, my insurance
You cannot be like the others.
Don't be like the others
