I worked with the March of Dimes to enact legislation for a national birth defects prevention program to provide surveillance, research and preventive services aimed at reducing the rate of birth defects.

The so-called modern education, with all its defects, however, does others so much more good than it does the Negro, because it has been worked out in conformity to the needs of those who have enslaved and oppressed weaker peoples.

A Controversy in Terms (Read at Your Own Risk)
A controversy in terms.
I haven't heard anyone or say anything about it
So here it goes
Abortion
Yeah that dirty word
My opinion is this their are scenarios where it should be acceptable
A child having a child
I believe at that age just because you conceive doesn't mean your ready to have one.
A rape producing a child
This one even the religious should allow as exception, due to the environment of conception.
A junky's giving birth
This one due to the fact of defects and disease that are spread.
I also believe that their are preventive and alternative options too.
Can we say contraception
Can we say adoption
But ultimately I believe it should be the woman's choice no matter my opinion or yours.
As men we take for granted that we don't have to deal with this nasty issue.
We tell the women what they can and can't do without going through the ordeals ourselves.
Think about telling a teenager daughter of yours you can no longer go to school because you have to keep and raise your kid.
Now imagine being that kid or woman.
It is not a matter life or death.
Instead its a matter of what we think is right or wrong
Who are we to judge?
I agree after the second trimester it is wrong to abort.
But I also believe these fake abortion clinics that delay for the sake of religion are wrong.
This has been cited.
Their has been legal action taken against such places.

A Squeaking Wheel
A squeaking wheel,
Doesn't always get the attention.
A prevention is mentioned to avoid this,
With intention!
Those who perceive they will be embarrassed,
With an harassment that may take place.
When they are confronted face to face.
Will do the best they can to oil that squeak,
Before that wheel gets an opportunity to roll.
And there is nothing like an interrupted agenda,
That has been scheduled to move along...
With no defects to detect,
By an unexpected 'noise'.

Warning of Innuendoes
An old tatty knave reads the strange Tattoo on her attractive back;
'The proximity where I roam contains chemicals, including Tobacco smoke
known to the state of Insomnia to cause Cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.Handsome Politicians' lethargy.
More information on specific exposures has been provided to wayfarers..........'
The rest few lines covered by her strapless sensational Brassiere.
Though he's senile he reminisces the word 'Warning.'

Upon A Looking Glass
In this see thou thy beauty, hast thou any,
Or thy defects, should they be few or many.
Thou may'st, too, here thy spots and freckles see,
Hast thou but eyes, and what their numbers be.
But art thou blind? There is no looking-glass
Can show thee thy defects, thy spots, or face.
Comparison.
Unto this glass we may compare the Word,
For that to man advantage doth afford
(Has he a mind to know himself and state),
To see what will be his eternal fate.
But without eyes, alas! how can he see?
Many that seem to look here, blind men be.
This is the reason they so often read
Their judgment there, and do it nothing dread.

Our Blueprint
Compulsory voting or fifty-dollar fine at tax time,
Shows that this important national issue is not five-and-dime,
And those who refuse to vote or pay, get ten days in jail,
No house arrest allowed, no legal aid, no caution and no bail.
Binding referendums for all Canadians on national options,
Before these options turn into major national problems,
How each politician votes on any issue should be published,
And not carefully moved around and hidden from the public.
Set-date elections every three years and constituents allowed recall,
Death with dignity allowed and no one or group, can forestall,
The Supreme Court, Governor Generals and parole boards elected,
So that defects in our systems can be finally corrected.

Fighting Death
Death follows birth; does birth follow birth?
Birth to death, journeys have ups and down.
What is the status between death and birth?
Why must you fight death if no-rebirth is bliss?

Death and Birth
Death leads to birth rather than birth, to death.
Birth is close to death and not vice versa.
Every birth is at the result of a death.
Death to birth, not birth to death, is the path.
The death of clay is the birth of a pot;
The death of the pot is the birth of clay.
Ice melts to water and water forms ice.
In each conversion, occur death and birth.
The death of a night is the birth of a day;
The death of a day is the birth of a night.
New Year means the death of the old year too.
In each transition, takes place death and birth.
The death of a seed is the birth of a plant;
The death of gametes is the birth of an embryo.
Salts die to form cells; cells die to form salts.
In each growth, form death and birth of matter.
The so called death and birth is nothing but
Deaths and births of forms made of matter.
The matter itself does not die to be born
But is converted to different forms.
Elements disappear to form plants.
Plants as food add to the animals’ flesh.
Plants and animals on death liberate
As elements, serving through worms and germs.
When a child is born, there’s no birth of life.
The embryo transforms into a child.
When a man dies, there is no death of life.
The body disintegrates to salts.
Matter, energy and life have no death
They have got one birth since when they’ve been.
They interact and come different stages
In which the pattern is death and birth.

Birth and death
.
Death is certain for birth.
Is birth certain for death?
Post-birth is pre-death.
It is like go around and return.
Post-death is pre-birth.
It is like stay and remain.
Birth and death is better
Than no birth at all
