There are times we are givers, but others time we have to let others give to us.

Givers Takers
life is full of givers
stealers of life takers...
givers give to all races
takers take leave empty spaces...
it is impossible to give to compulsive takers
takers never satisfied with deleting happy faces...
life is full of givers
givers give to all races...
stealers of life takers
takers take leave empty spaces...

Life's Joys
There are givers
And there are takers
A takers joy only last as long as what has been taken
But a givers joy can last a life time

Times Like These (One-Way Motorway)
I am a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
then follows you back home
I am a street light shining
I'm a wild light blinding bright
burning off alone
it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again
I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
to hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
do I stay or run away
and leave it all behind?
it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again

The Givers
Snip it.
What complaint would you have,
IF you had a heart that gave?
Quit it?
You are just part of this experience,
Life!
It is not about you or your whims!
The givers receive no attention at all.
And there you are falling down with tantrums!
Going ignored are your calls.
Snip it quick.
Shut your lips.
No tree grows from a branch.
When a leaf is released from it,
It dies, to wither and rust from its visit.
Connected are we all to this,
Life!
All your needs could be met...
IF your greed did not set things,
Off balance.
With needs you only feed.
One day you will learn,
All your suffering has been well earned...
By you!
Feeling screwed by the things you do?
You wouldn't feel this way,
IF you lived each day to 'give'!
You look for ways to take, use and squander!
That's why you wonder and wander...
Seeking to reap from life what is good!
What have you done?
Are you looking for ways to give to anyone?
Or are you here just to take?
Well...
Take this!
Shut your lips,
And learn what it is to give!
And all that this life is,
Can be yours.
You will receive what is deserved.
The givers serve without a mumbling word!
And all that is heard from you...
Are offers to undo what is done.
Takers get back,
That which has been given...
And comes to them in abundance!
A rusting of a nothingness achieved.
Leaving them with the results,
Of their selfish and hoarded greed.

South Station Blues
Got no place to run
Got no place to hide
Sittin at the railway station
Destination far behind, behind
Lived my life for love
Love thats hard to find
Some are givers, Im a taker
Love can make you blind
Make you blind
Got no time to lose
Time you just cant find
Give a dozen yesterdays
To make tomorrow mine
Make it mine
Got one life to live
That just borrow time
Dont close or blink your eyes
You lose your chance to fly
Chance to fly
Got no place to run
Got no place to hide
Sittin at the railway station
Destination far behind, behind
Lived my life for love
Love thats hard to find
Some are givers, Im a taker
Love can make you blind
Make you blind

Give Me Time
Give me time to be
Give me time to live
Give me time to see
Give me time to give
Let me reach my goal
Let me find my way
Let me have a role
Let me learn today
Give me time to use
Give me time to make
Give me time to lose
Give me time to wake

Time Time Time
Time time time
Make time, give time, take time out
Win time, cost time, the time of your life
Spend time, sell time, the good times and the bad
Kill time, zero time, all the time in the world
Time watch, time travel, time to begin
Time table, time square, can I fit you in
Time frame, time to go, time that you grew up
But tell me...
How do you feel?

They All Give The Light
Once upon a time
at a very far away
folk music concert
two American
folk singers claimed
and proclaimed
a revelation
concerning the lights
givers of light
One singer said
“Do you see the lights”
“This one is Christianity”
“That one is Islam”
“That one is Hinduism”
“That one is Buddhism”
They are all different
but they all give...
the same light...
Really?
What about blown bulbs?
When one bulb is blown?
Are all the bulbs blown?
They all give the same light?
A modern western folk revelation?
Is it really all the same light?
Or different sources of light?

Every 6 Seconds
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Baby I can't stop
My mind from slipping
Every six seconds or less
Preoccupation of the opposite sex
And you're the one I blame
For making me go crazy
I think of you in different ways
Fourteen thousand times a day
Victoria's Secret I've been keepin'
And its getting harder all the time
I can't keep it undercover
I need your soft lips kissing mine
Every six seconds
My body starts beggin
Your sweet thing is wreckin me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Another cold shower
Until you give me some
(Until you give me some)
I picture you in red matte lipstick
Sponging all over me
Leaving a mark on my fantasy
Or swimming in water wearing nothing but moonlight
Both of us soaking wet (splash)
Half way to the towel is as far as we get
Victoria's Secret I've been keepin'
And its getting harder all the time
I can't keep it undercover
I need your soft lips kissing mine
Every six seconds
My body starts beggin
Your sweet thing is wreckin me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Another cold shower
Until you give me some
(Until you give me some)
Every six seconds
My body starts beggin
Your sweet thing is messin me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Another cold shower
Girl you got the power
Until you give me some
Thoughts of you keep swimming through my veins
Baby night and day
And I cannot concentrate on anything
But this urge I have inside
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Until you give me some
Every six seconds
Every six seconds
Until you give me some
Every six seconds
My body starts beggin
Your sweet thing is wreckin me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Another cold shower
Until you give me some
Every six seconds
My body starts begging
Your sweet thing is wrecking me
Until you give me some
Ten times a minute
Six hundred times an hour
Girl you got the power
Until you give me some
Every six seconds

My Life with Passion
Sometimes I Laugh..,
Sometimes I Cry..,
Sometimes I Fight..,
Sometimes I Give up..,
At times I have a reason for all this..,
At times I don't have any..,
At times I want to spend time with my loneliness..,
At times I cannot do without many around..,
Every flower seemed to be my friend..,
Every second seemed to be my companion..,
Brushing past my cheeks were the winds..,
Dripping down from my eyebrows were the rain drops..,
No matter what the situation was..,
No matter where my mind was..,
At all times and At every moment..,
I grew on with a greater passion..,
Thats my life..and thats why i stay here..,

Time And Time And Time Again
Time and time and time
again
i've sought a perfect rhyme
time and time and time
again
it just comes to me
when
those times and times and times and times
i've searched for that one
word
i think that writing poetry is something quite
absurd
you balance on the tightrope and then sometimes
lose
your
nerve.........

Now's The Time
Now's the time to say that we're through
Now's the time because I'm through with you
You treated me so bad
What a time I had
With you oh yeah times are bad times are bad
I recall the times that used to be
We went out together happily
Then he came along
I knew that it was wrong
to treat me so oh yeah times are bad times are bad
I miss the times
I feel so blue Without you my heart
it's just runaway

I Don't Think So
I Don't Think So
We've been through this time together
AlI in my mind the love was so alive
Oh I never wanted for another
Then I saw the beginnings of a Iie
Good times and the bad times
Through the good times and the bad times with me
Good times and the bad times
Yeah I wonder why I never see
Good times and the bad times
Oh maybe there was always something wrong
Good times and the bad times
Did l wait too long
Chorus:
You said you'd love me for all of your life
I don't think so
Through the best of the best and the worst of the times
I don't think so
You said the world was a beautiful place
l don't think so
You swore the love was perfectly sale
I don't think so
People can only stay together
If in their hearts they know they can say what's on their minds
Would you say
Good times and the bad times
If it can't really be then I gotta move on
Good times and the bad times
Is it really time
Chorus: (repeat)
Said the check's in the mail and the maiI's on time
I don't think so
Said out of touch ain't out of mind
I don't think so
Couldn't live without me, and that's a fact
I don't think so
Love is real and it's not an act
I don't think so
Come on
Good times and the bad times
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
Baby our love was a beautiful thing
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
You said you'd love me for all of your life
I don't think so
Good times and the bad times
Through the best of the best and the worst of times
I don't think so
l don't think so baby oh baby oh baby come on
I don't think so
The love was right but the loving was wrong

Song For The Front Row
These are the best times
That you'll ever have
Don't throw it away because
You're younger that he is
He's your father
And he'll help you
If you give him
He's your father
He'll deserve you
If you give him time
These are the best times
So we'll march in time
The sun is too ripe to let
The moon shine on your eyes
Repeat Chorus
These are the straight ways
Don't make it long
Don't get yourself lost because
You're following someone else's song
Repeat Chorus

Hard Times
(jimmy dean/lyrics by myles goodwyn)
Published by acuff rose music, inc. - bmi
Hard times, hard times, hard times, hard times
When the college professor has no class
And the quarterback would rather pass
And the pump jockey complains of gas
Its hard times, hard times
When the taxi driver he cant hack it
And the tennis player cant stand the racket
When allies refuse to pack it, its hard times
Hard times, hard times, real hard times
When the elevator cant find the floor
And the doorman he cant find the door
When they give to the rich what they take from the poor, its hard times
Seems your moneys gone before its spent
If youre not busted then youre badly bent
To give it away doesnt make any sense, its hard times
Hard times, hard times, real hard times, hard times
Now grandma forgets how to knit
And the wise man has lost his wit
And my tailor feels unfit, its hard times, hard times
When the fashion models lost her poise
And santa clause smashes all the toys
When boys could be girls, and girls could be boys, its hard times
Hard times, hard times, real hard times, hard times
When the clock on the walls got no time for jokes
And kreskin says its all a hoax
When the surgeon general chain smokes, its hard times
When the truck driver dont wanna truck
And the hockey player wont touch the puck
And the rock musician dont wanna fool around, its hard times
Hard times, hard times, real hard times
Harder times, hard times
I was talking to this lady the other day and she was telling me..........

Sonnet IX: Can It Be Right to Give
Can it be right to give what I can give?
To let thee sit beneath the fall of tears
As salt as mine, and hear the sighing years
Re-sighing on my lips renunciative
Through those infrequent smiles which fail to live
For all thy adjurations? O my fears,
That this can scarce be right! We are not peers,
So to be lovers; and I own, and grieve,
That givers of such gifts as mine are, must
Be counted with the ungenerous. Out, alas!
I will not soil thy purple with my dust,
Nor breathe my poison on thy Venice-glass,
Nor give thee any love--which were unjust.
Beloved, I only love thee! let it pass.
