The idea that we can actually have an impact on places more or less instantly, too, by responding in some way or not responding, I think, also makes it true.

Communication Skills
Your conversation...
It's all over the place.
'I'm glad you noticed that.
Because I am responding to you.
I pride myself on listening.
And delivering immediate feedback.
So...
If you have noticed 'my' conversation,
Has been all over the place...
Not making sense OR contact?
Listen to yourself sometimes.
You will find your communication skills,
Way off track.'
So what are you saying?
I don't pay attention?
'Well,
It's like this...
If you think my conversation is scattered,
And it is just the two of us 'in' one conversation...
And I am responding to 'you'?
You figure that one out by yourself.
Because it is obvious to me,
You don't need me here...
To enjoy your own thoughts! '
True!
Maybe I should be a writer...
Huh?

Bridge over Troubled Waters - Acrostic Sonnet
Bridge of colours spans the years
Responding to shared tune on cue
In light and laughter keys into
Dreams' hopes for scope. Grey disappears.
Glow grows, tomorrows free from fears
Extend through unveiled planes that few
Or none else know. Constraints melt too!
Voyage duet hearts' wonder hears,
Echoes return to welcome ears
Responding with joy overdue.
TROUbadour threads song sincere,
BLED heart's quite healed, bright crystal clear.
WAs wait worthwhile? Touchée? Emue?
TERSe verse here ends with thoughts of you.

Heat And Ice Could Together Dwell
I may come to feel it but never come to say,
How others feel about what I do...
They have a choice to accept or refuse,
If they choose.
And that depends on what is done.
And if it is done with an intent.
If I am responding to a specific action,
Then what I choose to do is direct and meant.
Oh I can be arrogant and I can be rude.
I can be tempermental and give attitude too.
I can be distant and be cold as hell.
Even though I've never understood how heat and ice,
Could together dwell.
And that depends on what is done.
And if it is done with an intent.
If I am responding to a specific action,
Then what I choose to do is direct and meant.
I may come to feel it but never come to say,
How others feel about what I do...
They have a choice to accept or refuse,
If they choose.
But when I'm pushed to the limit I can freeze and steam.
With a melting to eventually thaw,
To become someone's manipulated putty!
Showing a protective crust although within a soften dough.
And I hate it when its known I just puff to blow smoke.

But actually just yesterday we raised the key of one of my songs two steps up, so my voice is obviously responding. It's a muscle, and the more you use it, the more you use it right, the more you should get out of it. So yes, I sing.

Salads was a big indicator of that - there was a huge market out there for it. And why not tap it? Some of the things we are doing now around the globe are responding to customers. It's not because some guy sued you.

Sometimes it's just harder to remind yourself about what you're doing and why you're doing it... Other times, you have a great desire for it, but physically you're not responding the way you want. That presents other challenges. Then sometimes it all comes together.

In a way, I have to have a dictatorship. I can't be told that I'm wrong. That conflicts with what I was saying earlier about listening. It isn't to do with receiving criticism and responding to other views, it's who has that last decision.

Shadows of desire, mirrors of the soul
Oh were I the breath that you take and lived in your heart, said he
Oh were you the blood that’s pounding passion in me, said she
Where I your hands that caress gloriously, he said with a sigh
Were you my lips that seek you hungrily, she said with a shy smile
Were I your fantasy, that makes you crave me, said he with rising passion
And were you the responding cry that receives me in delight, said she quietly
If this is the way it was meant to be, then who am I and who art thee
Shadows of desire, accepting each other, as we are
Mirrors of the soul, separate vessels
And one, in communion

Virgil Strange I Kept On The Field
VIGIL strange I kept on the field one night:
When you, my son and my comrade, dropt at my side that day,
One look I but gave, which your dear eyes return'd, with a look I
shall never forget;
One touch of your hand to mine, O boy, reach'd up as you lay on the
ground;
Then onward I sped in the battle, the even-contested battle;
Till late in the night reliev'd, to the place at last again I made my
way;
Found you in death so cold, dear comrade--found your body, son of
responding kisses, (never again on earth responding;)
Bared your face in the starlight--curious the scene--cool blew the
moderate night-wind;
Long there and then in vigil I stood, dimly around me the battlefield
spreading;
Vigil wondrous and vigil sweet, there in the fragrant silent
night; 10
But not a tear fell, not even a long-drawn sigh--Long, long I gazed;
Then on the earth partially reclining, sat by your side, leaning my
chin in my hands;
Passing sweet hours, immortal and mystic hours with you, dearest
comrade--Not a tear, not a word;
Vigil of silence, love and death--vigil for you my son and my
soldier,
As onward silently stars aloft, eastward new ones upward stole;
Vigil final for you, brave boy, (I could not save you, swift was your
death,
I faithfully loved you and cared for you living--I think we shall
surely meet again;)
Till at latest lingering of the night, indeed just as the dawn
appear'd,
My comrade I wrapt in his blanket, envelop'd well his form,
Folded the blanket well, tucking it carefully over head, and
carefully under feet; 20
And there and then, and bathed by the rising sun, my son in his
grave, in his rude-dug grave I deposited;
Ending my vigil strange with that--vigil of night and battlefield
dim;
Vigil for boy of responding kisses, (never again on earth
responding;)
Vigil for comrade swiftly slain--vigil I never forget, how as day
brighten'd,
I rose from the chill ground, and folded my soldier well in his
blanket,
And buried him where he fell.
