If the views I have expressed be right, we can think of our civilization evolving with the growth of knowledge from small wandering tribes to large settled law.

The Ancient India
India is ample known
For its three thousand year old
Civilization brought in by Aryans,
Who invaded as nomads.
It is little known for its prior
Civilization lived by Dravidians
In Mohanjo daro and Harappa,
About five thousand years ago.
It is little known at all
For its ten thousand year old
Civilization planted
By Mundas and Santals,
Now tribes on hillocks,
Branded the most backward.

Knowledge
What is more large than knowledge and more sweet;
Knowledge of thoughts and deeds, of rights and wrongs,
Of passions and of beauties and of songs;
Knowledge of life; to feel its great heart beat
Through all the soul upon her crystal seat;
To see, to feel, and evermore to know;
To till the old world's wisdom till it grow
A garden for the wandering of our feet.
Oh for a life of leisure and broad hours,
To think and dream, to put away small things,
This world's perpetual leaguer of dull naughts;
To wander like the bee among the flowers
Till old age find us weary, feet and wings
Grown heavy with the gold of many thoughts.

It is just that we should be grateful, not only to those with whose views we may agree, but also to those who have expressed more superficial views; for these also contributed something, by developing before us the powers of thought.
It is just because civilization is ever evolving, changing, and becoming more complicated, that experts find it so difficult to define it in explicit terms.

We know next to nothing about virtually everything. It is not necessary to know the origin of the universe it is necessary to want to know. Civilization depends not on any particular knowledge, but on the disposition to crave knowledge.

Western civilization, unfortunately, does not link knowledge and morality but rather, it connects knowledge and power and makes them equivalent.

No civilization can possibly survive to an interstellar spacefaring phase unless it limits its numbers. Any society with a marked population explosion will be forced to devote all its energies and technological skills to feeding and caring for the population on its home planet. This is a very powerful conclusion and is in no way based on the idiosyncrasies of a particular civilization. On any planet, no matter what its biology or social system, an exponential increase in population will swallow every resource. Conversely, any civilization that engages in serious interstellar exploration and colonization must have exercised zero population growth or something very close to it for many generations.

Civilization never stands still; if in one country it is falling back, in another it is changing, evolving, becoming more complicated, bringing fresh experience to body and mind, breeding new desires, and exploiting Nature's cupboard for their satisfaction.

Right And Wrong
It matters not whose right or wrong
An evolving planet has need for both
Balance is a way for men to get along
This gives each soul time for growth

Free Yourself and Let It Go
Deflated ego?
You think I say the things I do to you,
To deflate your ego?
I am hoping my assistance,
Helps you get rid of it.
And seeing no benefit in being limited.
And that's what your ego has done!
Made you believe you are number one.
And everything you do is correct.
Without a self examination...
Needed to allow you to live your best yet.
Deflated ego?
I may say some things to you that upsets.
I may even criticize something you do,
You accept as your best.
I might even attempt to strip,
That façade you charade.
Since it's your ego that has you 'tripped'...
When you see it for what it is,
You will realize your greatness has nothing to do with it.
In fact it is keeping you,
Inflated with bs and other nonsense.
Deflate your ego?
You think I do that,
From a threat I feel.
To diminish you in some way...
So I would have a greater appeal?
And deflating your ego would give me thrills?
You need to free yourself and let it go.
If you believe that keeping it,
Inspires a greater you with heights to reach!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

If aliens from outer space ever come and we show them our civilization and they make fun of it, we should say we were just kidding, that this isn't really our civilization, but a gag we hoped they would like. Then we tell them to come back in twenty years to see our REAL civilization. After that, we start a crash program of coming up with an impressive new civilization. Either that, or just shoot down the aliens as they're waving good-bye.

Revolving and Not Evolving
They are still in those places I left.
And that I don't understand.
They are still there as if nothing has changed.
There with the same revolving issues.
There to address the same expressed nonsense!
Remaining the same and unchanged.
Revolving and not evolving...
To find anything of value resolved.

Am I Humble?
Leaning towards my humble self,
We engage in conversation.
The views are expressed, the views appal,
And this admonition from the slanting person
Finishes here.
Such cautionary advice is frowned upon,
I prefer the happiness now, and the gadgets.
The gimmick or game is now to be aborted,
Like an afterthought always now fading.
Lean no more, just keep yourself,
Never take on hymns, never sing incantations,
For your health leave the sky and ground.
The advice leans too close to graciousness.

Safer Hands
Little hand held high, I reached for you, innocent and small
Never felt so safe, no wider smile, I had it all
No worries at all, little girl just three, she couldnt see
What there would be, clearer than you think, my memory
He treasured me, protected me
Wherever you have gone to, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands
Although youve gone for good now, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands
The day you left, no warning came, I was sleeping
Maybe it was your undying love, you didnt wake me, didnt take me
Now the years have flown and I have grown, there is a yearning
Give me just one day, to while away, to that Im drinking: wishful thinking
Wherever you have gone to, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands
Although youve gone for good now, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands
Even though its years, so long ago, there is a presence here
If there was some doubt, its all over now
Of that Im certain, theres no question
Wherever you have gone to, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands
Although youve gone for good now, my mind is settled, youre in safer hands

Funerals
I have been to large funerals,
even had to conduct one for a friend.
There are so many mourners that the pallbearers
have trouble turning the coffin around.
Then there have been others
where only a handful of people begrudgingly go.
My mother had one of those
and the paramount of difference shows.
Large ones are attended to say goodbye and display respect
for all that they had done for others in their lifetime.
The small ones are attended as a sign of closure
for what they did not do in their life.
Large ones have many sad
because they have to say to them their last goodbyes.
Small ones are rather sad
for either they held no respect
or their circle of real friends were very few.

Before we can build a stable civilization worthy of humanity as a whole, it is necessary that each historical civilization should become conscious of its limitations and it's unworthiness to become the ideal civilization of the world.
