I just got Kill Bill: Vol. 2. I've watched it like eight times in the past two months. I just love the scene at the end between David Carradine and Uma Thurman.

I like Bill a lot. As Bill is presented, I mean you don't ever see Bill blow her head off? You know? And I think what Quentin has done is he created a monster.

It was pretty extensive - we worked out 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 3 months, which I think is more than anybody in the Olympics. I thought well I don't need this, the girls need it, but it was a gift.

The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
He went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun
In case of accidents he always took his mom
He's the all american bullet-headed saxon mother's son.
All the children sing
Hey bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies
Bill and his elephants were taken by surprise
So captain marvel zapped in right between the eyes
All the children sing
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?
The children asked him if to kill was not a sin
Not when he looked so fierce, his mother butted in
If looks could kill it would have been us instead of him
All the children sing
Hey, bungalow bill
What did you kill
Bungalow bill?

I Watched
Pediatric E.R, R.I.P 11/5/09 (Volunteer work can be tough)
I watched…
A heartbreaking scene today
But I couldn’t take
my eyes away
I watched …
I feel shamed to say
I watched
a little girl die today
I watched …
an anguished EMT cry
I watched nurses drawn faces
I watched a little girl die
I watched …
Just outside the doors
The Frantic CPR applied
With frantic, futile force
I watched
Her mother fearfully enter the room
To be seated by her side
To share in her impending doom
I watched
A strange, unsettling scene
Upturned faces as if in prayer
hopefully watch the vitals screen
I watched
A life dissipate and fade
On a bed
That I had newly made
I watched…
At least a half hour they tried
With wondrous machines, marvelous medicines
Yet still, this little girl died
I watched…
Then I heard a small whimpering cry!
But It was only the mother
As she saw her child die
I watched…
Her arms outspread, her mom at her side
Young staring eyes so angelicly appealing
I watched, sadly watched….then I also cried.

In-between
I've watched you come. I've watched you go
and it's the in-between, the waiting
that bends me to and fro.
For those are the times that go too slow
and are tempered by the heart,
that senses the separation scene
and the loneliness of the in-between.

Hopeful memories
I watched you
walking in front of me
up the stairs of my youth
my mind is hopeful
the future,
our future
is limitless.
our love is still
pure
it’s a long time
until you will hit me,
curse at me
try to break bottles over me
many nights
and months
we will have good times
and trust in each other
until then.
I will still have pictures
of you how I want you to be
how you want me to be
our love and
my hope.

Lookout Joe
A hip drag queen and a side-walkin street wheeler,
Comin down the avenue.
Theyre all your friends, youll come to love em
Theres a load of em waitin for you.
Lookout joe, youre comin home.
Old times were good times,
Old times were good times.
Remember millie from down in philly?
She took my brain and forgot my name.
The woman you were with was about the same
She took your money and left town.
Lookout joe, youre comin home.
Old times were good times,
Old times were good times.
Glory hallelujah!
Will I lay my burden down?
Singin on the streets around:
Look at that crazy clown.
Remember bill from up on the hill?
A cadillac put a hole in his arm.
But old bill, hes up there still,
Havin a ball rollin to the bottom.
Lookout joe, youre comin home.
Old times were good times,
Old times were good times.
