You sit at the board and suddenly your heart leaps. Your hand trembles to pick up the piece and move it. But what chess teaches you is that you must sit there calmly and think about whether it's really a good idea and whether there are other, better ideas.

An Idea
An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.

Chess Piece Face
Whats gonna happen to chess piece face
There go I but for my face
All I know could be defaced by the facts in the life of chess piece face
I dont know where he lives
Or if he knows to sail
Or if little schemes like this one ever cross his trail
But I dont believe hes dreaming
Or if he cares to know
So I shudder* in my lampshade
So, whats gonna happen to chess piece face
There I go but for my face
All I know could be defaced by the facts in the life of chess piece face

On the Lake (1)
Mountain monks facing chess sit
Board on bamboo dark quiet
Shine bamboo no person see
Sometimes hear down chess piece sound
Two monks sit facing, playing chess on the mountain,
The bamboo shadow on the board is dark and clear.
Not a person sees the bamboo's shadow,
One sometimes hears the pieces being moved.
Piece Of My Heart
Didnt I make you feel
Like you were the only one
Didnt I give you everthing
That a man possibly can
But all the love I give you
Its never enough
But Im going to show you baby
That a man can be tough
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it if it makes you feel good
Youre out on the street looking good
And you know deep down in your heart it aint right
And you never never hear me
When I cry for you each night
Sometimes I tell myself I cant stand the pain
But when I hold you in my arms
I say it again
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it if it makes you feel good
Sometimes I tell myself I cant stand the pain
But when I hold you in my arms I say it again
Come on come on come on come on
And take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
You know youve got it
So take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little
Piece of my heart
Take it take another little
Piece of my heart
Break it break another little
Piece of my heart
Have it have another little

Y... Garbage Man
Become a garbage man
Every day, just for a minute
Search for some litter
Pick up some garbage
Where ever you can
Don't stoop down.
Not good for the back
Just sit on your heels
Stay squatted and look up
It gives you a special perspective
Pick up a hand full
Walk to the bin
Not the nearest
The walking is exercise
Good for your body
So, become a garbage man
It can give you perspective
It is good for your body
It is good for the world
Just a hand full per day.
-
Note:
Garbage men really deserve ou full respect.
I got the idea to write this piece when I was picking up a handful of garbage from the beach. I thought if there more people picking up garbage than people throwing garbage, littering would no longer be a problem.
I hope in this poem there is nothing disrespectful of garbage men. They really do a great job en deserve our respect as much as doctors and lawyers deserve our respect (as indicated in the comments by unwritten soul below)

Teacher Man
The Teacher Man teaches kids from all over the world
The Teacher Man teaches no matter boy or girl
The Teacher Man teaches Christans, Musilms, and Jews
The Teacher Man teaches those who say 'God I don't believe in you'
The Teacher Man teaches over demands for more recess
The Teacher Man teaches to only demand the best
The Teacher Man teaches Science, Reading, and Math
The Teacher Man teaches how to live out of class
The Teacher Man teaches all how to share
The Teacher Man teaches that we all should care
The Teacher Man teaches how to keep an open mind
The Teacher Man teaches with a kick in the behind
The Teacher Man teaches there are lessons in life
The Teacher Man teaches how to overcome strife
The Teacher Man teaches there's nothing wrong with a hug
The Teacher Man teaches the world changes with Love
The Teacher Man teaches the rich and the poor
The Teacher Man teaches those who are ready for more
The Teacher Man teaches how to look someone in the eye
The Teacher Man teaches how to accept someone in their cry
The Teacher Man teaches in more than one tounge
The Teacher Man teaches how to make working hard fun
The Teacher Man teaches all the colors of the land
But, most important of all, he teaches we should take a stand
Take a Stand, Take a Stand, for what you believe
Take a Stand, Take a Stand, and you will be free
Take a Stand, Take a Stand, for the least of the least
Take such Stand man, and you will find peace
He's the Teacher Man

Bit By Bit
Bit by bit, piece by piece
I shall put this puzzle together.
It will distract my mind
and as I find a piece
that fits, I marvel
that anything so exacting
can be so distracting.
I do not think of cares and woes.
They've taken flight for now.
I think of what is in my hand
and where it will fit somehow.
As I hesitate to finish
for then I must perform
all those perfunctory duties,
routinely as I move.
I try again to fit into this world,
fit into the groove.
Bit by bit, piece by piece
I have put my life together.
Just like the puzzles that are done
I often wonder whether
the end piece of my life
will make a lovely picture?

My Country, My State...
inside
money and power
change equations
with the ease of a
seasoned skater
outside
some hundred billion
hands raise to an
empty sky in utter
helplessness, undifinable
inside
power gets moved on
an antique chess board
in intrigue and advantage
outside
cheap lives move
on the rusted chess board
of ordinariness in
misplaced martyrdom
thrust on them
inside
leaders sprawl on
beds made of twenty four
karat gold nuggets
outside
we the commoners
get lied on heaps of
stinking flowers left
unsold...
inside
the fast-unto-death
get fed on easy digestable
food so as to make it
easy for the gut
outside
pigs and other respectable
creatures honestly thrive
on rotting vegetables
force-dumped by the
deserted pavements...

Didnt I make you feel
Like you were the only man
Didnt I give you everything
That a woman possibly can
Lord - but with all the love I give you
It aint never enough
Well, Im gonna show you baby
That a woman can be tough
So, come on, come on, come on, come on and
Break it
Break another little piece of my heart now baby
Take it
Take another little piece of my heart now honey
You can have it
Have another little piece of my heart now baby
You know youve got it
If it makes you feel good
Youre out on the street looking good
And you know, deep down in your heart
That it aint right
No...you never ever hear me when I cry at night

But when you hold me in your arms, I say it again
So, come on, come on, come on, come on and
Break it
Break another little piece of my heart now baby

You know youve got it
If it makes you feel good
Break it
Break another little piece of my heart now baby
Take it
Take it little piece of my heart now honey
You can have it
Have another little piece of my heart now baby
You know youve got it
If it makes you feel good

A Better Idea
He hung the moon
Raised the sun
Made the lions walk
And the rivers run
Then he sat down, looked around
And thought a bit
Said, its all good but that aint quite it
So with his mighty hand he created man
And then
Chorus
He had a better idea
A much better idea
He made an angel like sweet perfume
A heavenly smile, someone who
Can light up a room with a heart so true
I thank God he created me
But when I look at you I see
He had a better idea
Thought Id have to face
This world alone
Just walk through life
Without a hand to hold
And I accepted that
I said in fact it might be nice
To live my way
Now thats paradise
Be he knew all along
I was wrong
Repeat chorus (2x)
He had a better idea
God had a better idea

If I'm home with no chore at hand, and a package of books has come, the television set and the chess board and the unanswered mail will have to manage without me if one of the books is a detective story.
The idea of motherland is not a false idea, but it is a little idea, and one which must remain little. There is only one common good. There is only one moral duty, only one truth, and every man is the shining recipient and guardian of it. The present understanding of the idea of motherland divides all these great ideas, cuts them into pieces, specializes them within impenetrable circles. We meet as many national truths as we do nations, and as many national duties, and as many national interests and rights — and they are antagonistic to each other.

Dip It Low [Video Version]
Says he wants you
He says he needs you
It's real talk, then why not make him wait for you
If he really wants you
If he really needs you
Really got to have you
Take your time and feel him out
When he's a good boy
I mean a really really good boy
Why not let him lay with you
That's when you give it to him good
[Chorus:]
Dip it low
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo"
Dip it low
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo"
You getting bold
He growin' cold
It's just the symptoms of young love
Growin' old
You think it's time
And you're thinking of leaving
But give it time
It's late at night
He's coming home
Meet him at the door with nothin' on
Take him by the hand
Let him know what's on
If you understand me
Yall come on
All my ladies wind it up
If you know just how to move (mooove)
All my fellas jump behind
And show her what you want to do (show her what you got daddy)
All my ladies wind it up
If you know just how to move
All my fellas jump behind
And show her what you want to do (ouuuh..wouh ouh)
Dip it low
Pick it up slow (ohhh)
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo" (ima show you how to make him)
Dip it low (ouhhh)
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo"
We can move if you wanna
We can move if you wanna
We can mooove if you wanna
We can mooooooove...
Dip it low
Pick it up slow (slowww)
Roll it all around (ohhhh)
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing (yeah)
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo"
Dip it low
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke (come on come on come on)
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo" (ooooh)
Dip it low
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo"
Dip it low
Pick it up slow
Roll it all around
Poke it out like your back broke
Pop pop pop that thing
Ima show you how to make your man say "Ooo

That Morning Walk....
in locomotion ideas unravel
as though
when the feet pedal something
in the forehead pops out
the two walk hand in hand
like friends
the mind on foot towards
an enlightened destination
on a boat of darkness
the sails move out to the open
meeting the light
awed we prostrate on the grounds
of our traditions
we kneel and rise and with open arms
embrace the newness of
each thing each idea like flashes of
the northern lights
in technicolor....
