Dont Slow Down
96 degrees the sun is burning
Ra is smiling when the whip comes down
The caravan of stones creeps through the desert
The valley of kings is filled with sound
Hurry up come on pull boys come on never stop
Hurry up the pharaos dying
The pyramid grows higher and higher
The treasure chamber is already filled
The pharao is ill no time to waste
The architects pray before they get killed
Hurry up come on pull boys come on never stop
Hurry up the pharaos dying
Dont slow down
Tons of stones for the honour of the crown
Dont slow down
Pull that stone in the name of the crown
86 degrees in the city of rome
The pope decides he needs a new dome
So suffer boys in the name of god
And empty your pockets for his new home
For his new dome
Hurry up come on pull boys come on never stop
Hurry up the pharaos dying
Dont slow down
Tons of stones for the honour of the crown
Dont slow down
Pull that stone in the name of the crown

Carny Town
(words & music by wise - starr)
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Now the show youre going to see is strictly high class
Therell be ten hoola dancers shaking their grass
So step right up and put your money down
This way to carny town
We got a man so skinny you can see his bones
We play on his ribs like a xylophone
With a pair of spoons we get a rockin song
Youll hear it all, in carny town
Hurry, hurry, hurry, the house is almost full
We got a two headed cow and thats no bull
Theres a man who swallows swords and he never gets hurt
He eats razor blades for dessert
Hes just about the sharpest guy around
Youll see him here, in carny town
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha I say were gonna win
I said hurry up

Screaming pain
The silent screams inside
Nobody does hear
But me.
The screams of fear.
The screams of pain.
The screams of past pain endured.
No body knows.
The screams of hurt.
The screams that huant.
The screams of despair.
The screams of loneliness.
The screams of death.
Im screaming inside out.
With nobody to hear
Im screaming with pain.
Im screaming and screaming
Let me forget

She Screams
She screams in pain,
She screams out your name,
Watch her suffer,
Suffer into the darkness,
Tomorrow will bring another day,
A day of freedom,
She once thought,
She screams for help,
No one hears her,
A dead silence,
Watch as her friends turn their back on her,
Watch as she bleeds for them,
She hears the howling of the wind,
Knowing that no one can't hear her crying,
She screams,
Screams in agony,
Does anyone hear her,
Does anyone care,
She screams for you,
She screams one last time hoping that someone would hear her,
What will become of her,
Is this girl me or someone else.

Silent screams
Can you hear it?
The silent screams.
The screams that come from my hart.
My life was invaded.
And the pain lingers on.
It hurts God it really hurts.
The silent screams in my head.
I hear them but can you?
I hear them cos I'm screaming them.
But they are silenced by my fear.
Silent screams silent screams.
This is all I had when you did what you did.
Silent screams.
Emobolised by fear.
And overpowered by you.
I couldnt do a thing.
Except have silent screams.

Live Life Right (song)
These days just keep goin' by
It seems like I'm loosein' my life
The whole world is flyin' by me as i stand still
I start walkin' slowly as it passes before my eyes
Am i loosing my life
Or am i the only one takein' my time
Everyone seems to be in a hurry
Why can't we all slow down and take a break
Set aside all our problems in life
Just raise up your glasses and live your life right
Why are young people in such a hurry to grow old
While the old people wish they were young once again
Why do we wish for things that will never come true
And chase silly dreams the you know aren't for you
All these silly dreams and wishes are just a waste of time
Why spend your life chasing the horizon when you could be haveing fun
Everyone seems to be in a hurry
Why can't we all slow down and look around
Just set aside all our problems in life
Raise up our glasses and live life right
Life is to short to go chasing dreams you'll never catch
So just slow down and take your time
And try to do your best
Cause you only get one chance to live your life
So you better live it like the life u want to live
And don't let anyone tell you other wise
Cause if you let other people control your life
then you'll live your life always asking why

Fire and Screams
You called my name
Urgently called my name
But I didn't hear you
Through the fire and screams
I looked for you
Desperately looked for you
But I couldn't find you
There was fire and screams
Hiding that I think of you
Every few minutes, I should say
Just hold on to me
Through that fire, those screams
Trust won't break through the fire and screams
It will grow against gravity
The gravity of moments that took my breath away
The pull of me and you, the right choice
The urging to stay calm
Through the fire and screams
But then there's always the evil gravity
The gravity of uncertainty, of fears
The pull of loneliness and tears
The urging to scream, to add to those screams
That fire, those screams
I looked for you
Frantically looked for you
But I couldn't find you
Through the fire and screams
Open The Gate
I see you from the distance
From beyond the fence you made
Hiding all your feelings
Behind your barricade
Oh have you been invaded
Is this the reason why you hide
I know just how you're feeling
I know - let me inside
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up - hurry
I want to get near you
But you just won't let me in
'Cause you're so scared of losing
Everything you've got within
Come on now you can trust me
Come on and open the door
'Cause I know just how you're feeling
I know - I've been there before
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
And do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now - hurry
Do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
And do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
Hurry
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Down

Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!
Hurry up to fall in love!
Be surprised how beautiful it is!
Hurry up to speak of love!
Realize that these words can anyone please.
To give yourself to others –
What happiness it is!
All people are sisters and brothers
Take care of friendship, please!
Don’t hide the feelings of admiration!
It’s a foundation of love creation.
Use your brain but more imagination
If you want to find the right station.
Hurry up to be needed by someone!
Don’t suffer of senseless doubts!
Everyone on the Earth needs love,
No one wants the bailouts.
Hurry up to mourn and even to cry!
Those are forlorn whose eyes are always dry.
With every breath the time runs out,
Every moment of life is a gift beyond any doubt.
Don’t break the harmony of life
For the only sake of a strife.
Have a look at the situation twice or even thrice
You will find for sure a compromise.
Hurry up to love the rain and the snow!
Hurry up to love everything that grow!
Hurry up to love the hot and the cold
Hurry up to love the young and the old.
Hurry up to live in winter and summer!
Find the beauty in autumn and spring!
Appreciate a farmer who works hard
And…present you a pumpkin on Halloween.
Hurry up to listen and hear!
Feel the souls of those who are dear!
Hurry up and be happy today!
Nothing for tomorrow delay!
Summing up I repeat again:
Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!

Time Runs Too Slowly On The Lines
how slow
can time run on the lines
of electricity
that which is generated
by that poem
that prefers the silence
of the lips
that which does not speak
but screams
in every letter in everything
in between
how slow can time choke us
and yet we still refuse to accept
its intentions of death
we look at the other side of
our melancholy
there is a bridge and there are trees
below
and there is a creek
more likely to be empty
before the
next summer's day

I Wanna Be Sedated
Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go
I wanna be sedated
Nothing to do
Nowhere to go
I wanna be sedated
Just get me to the airport
And put me on a plane
Hurry hurry hurry before I go insane
I can't control my fingers
I can't control my brain
Oh no oh ho
Just put me in a wheelchair
And get me to the show
Hurry hurry hurry before I go loco
I can't control my fingers
I can't control my toes
Oh no oh ho.

A Flow of Love
Yeah!
Slow and Slow
ye stare
with eyes-
eyes innocent
as doe
Slow and Slow
you emptied
my cup
A cup
of woe
Slow and Slow
ye vanquished
my foes
hidden
inner foes
Slow and Slow
Ye pour
A wine of joy
in a goblet
with glow
Slow and Slow
Ye stamp
my cells
from
head to toe
Slow and slow
Ye weed out
ignorance
with your
divine hoe
Slow and slow
Ye open
petals
of my mind
for glorious show
Slow and slow
you rescued
me from claws
A dangerous
Maya's claws
Slow and slow
you weeded
out my flaws
habitual
mortal flaws
Slow and slow
Ye brought me
under yoke
A yoke
of divine law
Slow and slow
please come
in my life
with your
majestic flow
Because
Our separation
waiting on death row
our rendezvous
hot desert in a
storm of snow

Hurry-hurry-hurry
Hurry-hurry-hurry...
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
everyone is always running, is this our fate
no one walks like a decent pike,
what a mess what a sorrow!
Why can't they do more peaceful
do it calm, do today not tomorrow
please be patient, to you all I'll be thankful
They say: Time is money
is it: No time so no money?
Or: I have no money, so am I in a hurry?
or: plenty of money, I take my time, honey
Hurry-hurry-hurry I hate
money-money-money is my fate
then slowly-slowly-slowly
under a huge pile of money
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
now you need not walk and hurry it's late
please for God's sake, take a decent bike

For Michael Hicky
I heard the screams
Of what was told
The screams
Of a man
Who should
Have been free
They chained him
They beat him
But they
Could never defeat him
As he stands alone
On a rooftop of hope
His mother pleads
Please set my son free
Three months long
On a roof with no sun
Just the wind
And the snow
His mind and body broken
But a soul so strong
Years of his life taken
All from
When he was seventeen
How could
Any man go on
I heard the screams
Of what was told
The screams
Of a man
Who was set free

Hurry Up John
Id love to carve my name of him she said
And tie this rope around your head she said
Hurry up john (hurry up john)
Hurry up john (hurry up john)
Then she rolled me up and said
I look very strange without a head
It was time I should be gone
But I was waiting for john, to take me home
Ive gone too near the edge, youll fall she said
Hurry up john (hurry up john)
Hurry along (hurry along)
Then she rolled me up and said
Id look very strange without a head
It was time I should be gone
But I was waiting for john to take me home

Fun Together
slow but sure
but if i fall
i rise again
and begin
anew
slow but sure
like a snail
like a worm
inching my way
to my
destination
i am not in hurry
side by side
with another worm
another snail
oh we're just
having fun
together

The race is to the swift
Happy be or sad, like a long journey
Life is, and burden man aught to carry,
Heavy— let thine step be slow and steady,
That ye should stumble not in a hurry,
Old Buddhist wisdom, feeling its oats, said;
Be steady and firm like a mountain wall,
Deep like ocean, mild like moon to thine stead,
Echoed Jain thought; it matters none at all
How slow ye walk long as ye walk the way,
A Confucius creed more chaos did spread;
In too much of hurry, ye go astray,
Slow down to no movement, reach there un-sped,
Pondered Osho; the race, said Christ, not to the swift,
Shall thine goal gift; but world still races to the lift!
_____________________________________________ __________
This is a tongue-in-cheek kind of sonnet. Thoughts presented
are serious, but the underlying tone is light. All spiritual
wisdom advises men to move slow and steady to the goal, and
yet the world seems to be in a mad hurry; it's a rat race in
every field, as the Volta, just half of the last (14th) line suggests.
The end couplet reflects the rush to conclude, and in the
process, could not afford to be brief, ending up two syllable
longer!
We have all noticed, an orderly queue awaiting arrival of the
elevator in a tall building. But the moment the lift reaches the
spot, everyone starts pushing forward in a scramble. This is what
I call automobile culture, what we all do while driving on a busy
city road— pushing. This is what ‘race to the lift' means. Today
we admire the swift rabbit, not the slow and steady turtle of the
popular Panchatantra story.
