Men cannot make Scripture conform to their lifestyle; they must make their lifestyle conform to Scripture.

This truth of the gathering together of God's children is in Scripture seen realised in various localities, and in each central locality the Christians resident therein composed but one body: Scripture is perfectly clear on that head.

Scripture of the Zen
The universe is scripture of the Zen,
and while our inner feelings come and go,
its feelings form an archipelago
where on an island prison live most men.
The scripture, when it’s read, helps to release
the feelings which, confined, lead to confusion,
but once they’re understood help to increase
the sense that life is more than an illusion
The scripture of the universe does not
require any priests or temples, and
interpretation of its poetry and plot
is what Zen masters hope we’ll understand
at every moment of our lives. It changes
according to the moment and the season,
sometimes remote as Himalayan ranges,
sometimes approachable with rhyme and reason.
With this scripture we can reach the realm
where thoughts that are exposed are safely bared,
but not allowed by us to overwhelm
the universe that we have always shared
with all the living creatures and the plants
that God created long before the day
that He created Man, whose hierophants
believe that only they know how to pray.

Shame
Now there's a lifestyle
With painted lips
Now there's a lifestyle
Everybody wants it
But it don't exist
And I said shame...
In the dancehalls and the cinema
Shame
On the TV and the media
Shame
We loved you
Now there's a lifestyle
With fashion chic
Now there's a lifestyle
Everybody in it wants
To be elite
And I said
'You with yer brand new shoes and
You with yer greasy hair and
You with yer mother's pride and poetry
Don't you want to feel the shame?"...
In the dancehalls
Can't you feel the shame?
And the TV
Can't you feel the shame?
We loved you...
Shame
In the dancehalls and the cinema
Shame
On the TV and the media
Shame
We loved you
At the Lido and the opera
Shame
At the races
And the theatre
Shame
We loved you.
And they said all we need is love
All we need is love
With the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
Day after day
Day after day.

Compare Scripture with Scripture. False doctrines, like false witnesses, agree not among themselves.

Criticize
Most people criticize
what they do not understand.
They tear things up
if it is something new
and does not conform
to what they believe
is the only way to do things.
If it does not conform,
then it is no good
and sometimes all of us
feel the same way
with things we do not understand.
With writing it is up to the author,
not the critic whom
soils it with his incantations.

The Lord knows that I could not open scripture; he must by his prophetical office open it unto me. So after that being unsatisfied in the thing, the Lord was pleased to bring this scripture out of the Hebrews.

I Will Not! !
I see no reason to conform
to what’s accepted as the norm.
It’s not mere eccentricity
I see the world quite differently.
I have a brain and I can choose
what to accept what to refuse
I am prepared to listen to
other peoples point of view.
The average man does not exist
despite what experts may insist.
Each one of us is quite unique
.Remember this before you seek
to conform to the common view
There can be only one of YOU.

Im Broken
I wonder if well smile in our coffins while loved ones
Mourn the day, the absence of our faces, living, laughing,
Eyes awake. is this too much for them to take?
Too young for ones conclusion, the lifestyle won.
Such values you taught your son. thats how.
Look at me now. Im broken.
Inherit my life.
One day we all will die, a cliched fact of life. force fed
To make us heed. inbred to sponge our bleed. every
Warning, a leaking rubber, a poison apple for mingled
Blood. too young for ones delusion the lifestyle cost
Venereal mother embrace the los$. thats how
Look at you now. youre broken
Inherit your life.

For Scripture is the school of the Holy Spirit, in which, as nothing is omitted that is both necessary and useful to know, so nothing is taught but what is expedient to know. Therefore we must guard against depriving believers of anything disclosed about predestination in Scripture, lest we seem either wickedly to defraud them of the blessing of their God or to accuse and scoff at the Holy Spirit for having published what it is in any way profitable to suppress.

No Man Knows
No man knows the day or hour, when The Lord shows His Power,
Coming for the Church of God, to take men from the earth’s sod,
When only those who truly believe, Christ, The Lord shall receive,
On our Lord’s predetermined Day, regardless what men shall say.
For many by their own deduction, distort Scripture to destruction,
Distorting Scripture in their mind, while leaving valid Truth behind,
Many words from our Dear Lord, by these teachers goes ignored,
Passages in the Word of God, they dismiss with an arrogant nod.
Their appetites are not God’s Truth, but their desires unto reproof,
Straying from what prophets said, to preach all they want instead,
Today they’re judged by men, but their words God shall condemn,
All their prophecies spoke arrogantly, will fail for all people to see.
Still other men will follow suit, with teachings God shall not repute,
As they distort Holy Scripture, not true to God’s prophetic picture,
Skewed becomes God’s Revelation, by man’s simple imagination,
Untruths that cause many to jeer, at The Word, that all should fear.
Men’s prophecies continue to fail, while God’s Truths shall prevail,
And just as God stated my friend, knowing the beginning and end;
By these men doubts are raised, but God’s Word shall be praised,
When all the Scripture we have read, shall be fulfilled as God said!
Undoubtedly it is our duty, and for our best good, that we occupy and improve the faculties, with which our creator has endowed us, but so far as prejudice, or prepossession of opinion prevails over our minds, in the same proportion, reason is excluded from our theory or practice. Therefore if we would acquire useful knowledge, we must first divest ourselves of those impediments and sincerely endeavor to search out the truth: and draw our conclusions from reason and just argument, which will never conform to our inclination, interest or fancy but we must conform to that if we would judge rightly.

Alive
Reading this fresh poem
This new poem this alive poem
I want to show you young man
Go go go and go and
I have cleared the road.
Asking where to go estopped
Making a gap with scripture
You are my scripture and
I'm talking to you
I'm writing for you
And you a fresh
You are a new
You are alive.

When The Truth Is........
There is no place like America
It is not hot like Manila
The parks are bigger and
Clean
The food is cheap and
The snow is smooth
To my cheeks
I like the work here
In dollars I earn
I like Disneyland and
Las Vegas
I like the independent lifestyle here
*(when the truth is he misses
the Philippines, the paradise, the maids who
cook for her, the tropical weather, the
easy lifestyle, & he has yet to earn more
money in the US to pay off his debts home)

The Good Ship Lifestyle
This is the Goodship Lifestyle
All my friends jumped ship
I elect me the captain
This is the loneliest voyage
I've ever been on
Up in the crow's nest
Over there! I see land!
First mate? There is no First Mate
This is the Goodship Lifestyle
Sail away from the world
Sail away from the world
So steer a course
