I started bowling when I was 14, my freshman year in high school.
When I got out of high school, I thought, I'll take a year or two off and play the clubs, get this out of my system, and then go to med school.

Freshman Year
It was so cool being a freashman
That, I must say
I got a lot of slack
And didn't get homework every day
My brother's one grade up
And he spent hours doing work
I don't want to be an upperclassman
Cuz freshman has it's perks
You get picked on, but not too much
You're still a kid, out of touch
You find out what your subgroup is and
where they all come from
It's that freshman year, that you learn to love
The joys of life and high school years
The teachers who will lend an ear
The kids who like to beat you up
And then the emos who don't smile enough
Not everyone experiences this, that is way too true
But I sure did, my darling, and i know you did too
I loved the pressure and the one-upping
I loved the challenge, never stopping
I loved knowing I could always move on
And that the day is never too long
That heartache happens, and people will fail
You'll get bad report cards in the mail
I know this may seem way too optimistic
But I'm not in the mood to give any lip
I'm on my way to sophmore year
A few more years and then NO MORE SCHOOL
Then on too college, then to work
I want to stay a freshmanic fool! ! ;)
[yes i know, this is a very strage and
quirky poem but I'm in a strange and quirky mood]

I Don’t Like School
I don’t like school,
No-sir-ree.
School is no fun,
Not to me.
Oh, how I don’t like school.
Not history,
Not English,
Not science or biology,
Not reading or grammar,
Not even computer discovery.
The only thing I like is math,
Yes-sir-ree.
That’s all I like.
Other than math,
I don’t like school.

Math Suks
If necessity was the mother of invention
Then Id like to kill the guy who invented this
The numbers come together in some kind of third dimension
A regular algebraic bliss
Lets starts with something simple
Like 1 and 1 aint 3
Any 2 plus 2 will never get you 5
Theres fractions in my subtraction
And x dont equal y
But my homework is bound to multiply
Math suks (math suks), math suks (math suks)
Id like to burn this text book
I hate that stuff so much
Math suks (math suks), math suks (math suks)
Sometimes I think that I dont know that much
But math suks
I got so bored with my homework
I turned on the tv
The beauty pageant winners were all smiling through their teeth
And they asked the new miss america
Hey babe can you add up all those bucks
She looked puzzled then just said math suks
Math suks (math suks), math suks (math suks)
You dont even have to spell it
All you have to do is yell it
Math suks (math suks), math suks (math suks)
Sometime times I think that I dont know that much
But math suks
Geometry and trigonometry and if they dont tax your brain
There are numbers to big to be named
Numerical precision is a science with a mission
And I think its gonna drive me insane
Parents fighting with their children
And the congress cant agree
Teachers and their students are all jousting constantly
Management and labor keep rattling old sabres
Quacking like those peabody ducks
Math suks (quack quack), math suks (quack quack)
You dont even have to spell it
All you have to do is yell it
Math suks, thats right, math suks, you got it
Sometime times I think that I dont know that much
But math suks
All right there goes our g rating
Math suks, math suks, math suks the big one
Math suks, math suks, math suks the big one
Math suks, math suks, math suks the big one
Math suks, math suks, math suks, math suks

Last Year
I may be in my Junior year.
But next year is my last year.
As I look back on the time I’ve been here,
And it feels like my first day as a freshman.
No matter what year I’m in school, I will always be meeting new people.
Most of the people I meet is the people who had moved away,
Now coming back.
Half the friends you come in with,
Will end up being half the friends you won’t be friends with.
So far what I am trying to say is that you need cherish the moments you have.
In a blink of an eye it will all be over.
You say your years won’t be like that
And when you graduate you say where does it go.
My Last Year’s about to begin! !

Redirected Rage At Students Unblessed-Thank God, I'm No Longer Possessed.
Redirected rage tossed aside it's predestined path...
Can't blame 'nother problem by school and math.
In high school i was at a stand still in summer school math
and American history...
Never got an a or even a dee.
T'was just an eff just due to me.
I did not want ta become a rocket scientist or teacher of years
in time...
What law had i broken? -What caught was my crime?
Art and English were just my best subjects...
That fact was clear to my teachers, no lie or not even a false pretext or subtext.
As a teenager i was hard to control...
The grade school hall monitor was always out on Mike Gale patrol.
Fights were attracted to me as like a mighty over powering magnet...
That should seem to all readers of this bad fact that is solomnly
tragic.
I just don't know how my teachers put up with me...
The school board had unanomously had voted for a teachers pay increase for observence of yours truly.
Overtime was their only way...
That's how teachers who broke school rules were forced to pay.
I'm just glad to this day that i've matured and changed...
Thank God Almighty-I'm no longer deranged.

My Freshman Life
alot of people
i met at school
make fun of me
cause i'm different
and not like them
i talk different
i'm afraid to speak whats on my mind
i'm shy
i've been abused
i'm bio
and so confused
people pass me
in the hall
without a single word
i just walk on by
the boys at school
call me crystal pistel
and a freak
and the only question i have now
is what did i do
to make you this cruel?
this is my high school life
in grade 9
a freshman
who nobody liked

There was one point in high school actually when I was on the chess team, marching band, model United Nations and debate club all at the same time. And I would spend time with the computer club after school. And I had just quit pottery club, which I was in junior high, but I let that go.

Shot Down
she did my spanish homework freshman year
in high school
so i didnt mind her sitting next to me
during my quiet time
sitting in the goldmine
and she says
it occurs to me that
maybe you aren't warming up to me
because i haven't been honest with you
i'm not warming up to you simply because
i'm not warming up to you
well maybe you sense something
suspicious
my you have a high opinion of yourself
thinking you have invented
a new form of deception
i am equally suspicous of everyone
the thing is
i can never posess a firearm
oh i see
you are a felon
no not a felon
it was part of the deal to keep me from being a felon
i shot at my ex old man
i was thinking
well damn, an ugly dull controlling
jealous troll
who may or may not
be sharpening her aim
and she's taken a shine to me
these situations gravitate towards me
like junk cars in the back yard

Education A Lost Cause
Education A Lost Cause
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted Feb.2010
Education was importion at one time,
now it is on the back burner not importation.
In the U.S.A. we ranked number one in education,
now in the U.S.A. we rank 13th in education.
Americans cannot even comprehend English language
besides math or science even sex education.
Americans talk with text or iming words thinking that the English language
when Americans today are alliterate cannot read or write even do math.
Our states even government wants to take away
12th grade from high school what's next?
11TH grade than no high school suppose to be going forward not backwards.
So we need to fix education and our government,
because education comes first and the fat cats like the senators,
and the congressman come last no more free rides plus free dinners.
We need to rank number one in education again!

It feels kinda weird being back in a high school cause I haven't been in a high school for about a year. So um, it's kinda interesting coming back, and y'know seeing the lockers, with all the signs, the handmade signs, so being in high school again is a little bit strange but in a good way.
