One of the pleasures of being an actor is quite simply taking a walk in someone else's shoes. And when I look at the roles I've played, I'm kind of amazed at all the wonderful adventures I've had and the different things I've learned.

Lived In a Way That I Like
I am tired of providing someone else,
Entertainment.
Or become the subject of someone else's convenience.
There are those who react as if appalled...
If the hands on a clock does not stop for them!
And I am not loaning any tick tocking done in my behalf,
To anyone to prove a thing.
I've played both roles in a yesterday that has gone.
You know...
The Master of Ceremony with touches of comedy,
For someone momentarily bent out of shape.
And even though some may fine my lack of interest,
Offensive.
I've learned to walk away from that kind of mind play.
This is 'my' life!
And it will be lived in a way that I like!
Or...
Moved in a direction made without hesitation.
I am not loaning any tick tocking done in my behalf,
To anyone to prove a thing.
When lessons are learned it is best to use them.

Put Yourself In My Shoes
Your mind is made up you wont even try
You didnt even cry this time
You say that we could never see eye to eye
And one of us just must be blind
We have our differences
Were still the same
See what we want to see
But you take a second look
And maybe things wouldnt seem the same
If you could see what you mean to me
Put yourself in my shoes
Walk a mile for me
Ill put myself in your shoes
Maybe then wed see
That if you put yourself in my shoes
Youd have some sympathy
And if I could only put myself in your shoes
Id walk right back to me
Youre gonna keep walkin and youre gonna pass me by
You say you dont even care
But I could always recognize a real good-bye
And I know your hearts not there
Weve had our differences
Were still the same
Hear what we want to hear
Now Im head over heels in the lost and found
Its a cryin shame
I thought we made the perfect pair
Put yourself in my shoes
Walk a while walk that mile for me
Ill put myself in your shoes
Maybe then wed see
That if you put yourself in my shoes
Youd have some sympathy
And if I could only put myself in your shoes
Id walk right back to me
Id walk right back to me
Id walk right back to me

Wonderful Christmastime
The moon is right
The spirits up
Were here tonight
And thats enough
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
The partys on
The feelins here
That only comes
This time of year
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
The choir of children sing their song
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding ohhhh
Ohhhhhhh
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
The word is out
About the town
To lift a glass
Ahhh dont look down
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
The partys on
The spirits up
Were here tonight
And thats enough

I really have no ulterior motive in taking on certain roles. I have no larger issue that I really want to show people. I'm an actor, that's all. I just do what I do.

As far as the lack of hits goes, I think perhaps it's because I've played a lot of different roles and have not created a persona that the public can latch on to. I have played everything from psychopathic killers to romantic leading men, and in picking such diverse roles I have avoided typecasting.

There are roles I want that my agency might not want me to do because of the subject matter or whatever. Or there are roles that people won't bring to me because they don't think I'll do it. And that is a big strain because an actor wants to act.

Simple Pleasures
The simple pleasures in life are best.
Spending time with speacial freinds.
Letting them know that they depend.
You'll always be there to defend.
Taking time to sit and think.
To ponder how great the world can be.
Sit and read while drinking tea.
It's all a splendid treat for me.
A peaceful walk down in the park.
Taking in it's gorgeous spark.
The precious wonders are so stark.
Listening to music that gives you hope.
These simple pleasures are what I need.
So life doesn't grow tired and boring.
Enjoy them all because life is short.
Cherish these things inside your heart.

Wonderful World
Refrain:
Its a wonderful world where we belong to
There are so many things we can learn
Its a wonderful world and we will promise
We will take our chance
Its a wonderful world where we belong to
We have a heart full of dreams
Its a wonderful world and we will promise
We will take our chance
Its a wonderful
Its a wonderful
Its a wonderful world
1.
Walk along the road, the view gets no clearer
Dont waste your time dont let nobody hear ya
Here is your harmony, here is your friend
A positive spirit thats holding your hand
Stop, step back dont let somebody play the game
Scream it out then you can take the pain
Open up your mind, free your soul
Its a wonderful world and were taking control
2.
Its a constant fight that will always last
Its a war between the present, the future and the past
Confusion goes on, do we know right from wrong
Live each day like the last ,then youre strong
The clock of your life is ticking slower and slower
If we give up our dreams we go lower and lower
Open up your mind ,free your soul
Its a wonderful world and we are taking control

I'm kind of private and I keep things inside a lot, but it's been so wonderful to realize that people care about you in a very deep way and that there is some bond between an actor and his audience. I don't even know how to describe that feeling.

I'm Taking The Photographs Of The Photographers
as they busy taking the
shots of their lives
focusing and focusing
their lenses
i take the opposite view
taking their pictures as they take their pictures
trying to define life
sifting all the details
the colors and tones
and frozen movements of
people and things
i am amazed on how amazed they are
with their object and subjects
i click my camera first before they
click theirs

The actor should not play a part. Like the Aeolian harps that used to be hung in the trees to be played only by the breeze, the actor should be an instrument played upon by the character he depicts.

Taking a Walk on Memory Lane
Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all that gray.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I see the sunrays.
Taking a walk on memory lane
isn’t all full of tears.
Taking a walk on memory lane
I have no fear.
Taking a walk on memory lane
not a dropp of rain in sight.
Taking a walk on memory lane
Every thing is alright.
Taking a walk on memory lane
is where I want you to come along.
Taking a walk on memory lane
is where we belong all lifelong.

Requirements Set By Advertisements
I live a life that is not mine, sitting in
one place for hours on end without
a wonderful book offering mental
challenges or great adventures
to stimulate the mind
Stuck with dead words, no meaning,
metre or rhythm - no music therein -
cold lines indicting people for being
human - imprisoning them for living
the adventures & dreams
Held up to them in advertisements -
brainwashing everyone to believe
real happiness resides in owning
wealth- living pampered lives-so-
impossible to feel guilt
For taking what is rightfully theirs:
happiness - if they were not born
into riches their duty is- to rectify
this ‘cause advertisements claim:
ALL are deserving of -
- wonderful lifestyles and products
to beautify their appearance; there-
fore; why should our laws ostracise
them for fulfilling the requirements
- set by advertisements?
