What makes us discontented with our condition is the absurdly exaggerated idea we have of the happiness of others.
Dissatisfied

Why baby why are you still so sad
When you know how much I need you
I hate to see you feel so bad
When I try so hard to please you
You know Id do anything
Just to see you smile againg
Theres nothing I wouldnt do
Just to take away a little pain
You make me feel, ooooh ooh ooh oooooh

That I need you to depend on
Any everything you feel Im feeling too

How can I make the sunshine through
So we can be happy again

Condition Critical
Oh the tension's mounting
The pressure starts to show
All the men in haunting
Please don't let me go
(Don't go)
Try to free my body
(Don't go)
Try to strap me down
(Don't go)
These'll never break me
(Don't go)
Free wheel to look at me
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical
The bells they are ringing
Or is it in my head
My nerves numb understanding
I'm falling out of bed
(Don't go)
So call it paranoia
(Don't go)
I don't see it that way
(Let's go)
You say I adore ya
(Hell no)
We're gonna rock they way
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical
Ooh ooh
Whips and chains
Don't feel no pain
What's so wrong
I think I'm going out of my head
Over heels
I can't feel
No pain, only pleasure
Get me out
Take me home
Can't you see my condition
Woo-woo-woo
Condition
Condition
Condition critical, critical
Condition
Condition
Condition critical
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical (Cynical)
Condition
Condition
Condition critical, critical
Condition
Condition
Condition critical, critical
Condition
Condition
Condition critical, critical
Condition
Condition
Condition critical, critical
Condition

The writers are writing human beings, and they're writing about the human condition and how difficult it is to function in that condition. I think it's one of the charms of the show, the idea of redemption and working towards becoming better people, for everybody involved.

What Happiness Is
happiness
is bliss
happiness,
is when you get a new puppy
happiness,
is when you get married
happiness,
is when you go on you first date
happiness,
is making your own decisions
happiness,
is graduating
happiness,
is getting you first job
happiness,
is falling in love
happiness
is being proud of who you are
happiness
is bliss
happiness,
is glowing
happiness,
is fun
happiness,
is an amazing feeling
happiness,
is when you smile all day
happiness,
is giving someone a hug just because you can
happiness,
is that light in your eyes
happiness,
is what makes the world go around
happiness,
is bliss
Happiness In A Bottle
My stomach hurts
my liver failed
to much happiness prevailed
happiness comes in certain shapes
it comes in only shades of brown or transparency
it demolishes hurt and lessens dignity
another shot of happiness
another dose of emptiness
happiness a endless bliss
mix it with some flavors and smoothness
makes you feel invincible
makes your stomach dance and whirl
the doctors say to much of happiness isnt good for you
happiness takes you out of reality and makes things untrue
every one that doesn't have it want it
and every one that has it want more
some people despise others that have it
they send them to letter meetings
and blame them for recklessness
how could some thing so good be so bad
for years ive known only happiness comes in cans
and glass bottles to
while every ones searching for their so called happiness
ive already found mines in brew.

A Marvel against Odds!
Cold winter season depicts snow everywhere;
Himalayan mountains, Kashmir valley, Shimla
Even in summer are a resort to see snow ever!
Keeping coal fire close to body covered by blanket
Poor people withstand chill weather there ever!
Even in such severe weather condition people live!
Glaring white of snow everywhere makes eyes
Close or have a sun-glass to see out all day long
And people mind routine regularly without fail!
The thrill of skating on ice really makes joyful,
Keeps health in tip top condition to pull on well
And makes worst weather too best by play ever!
Making good of a bad bargain is an art man knows;
Deserts or snow hills, he marvels millions of years!

Treasure Those Moments
what makes one happy
well it depends on the person
some people find happiness in the simple things
others dont take much notice
some people find happiness from people
in many different ways
some people find happiness from the important things
but to sum it up, we all find happiness sometime
even if its just a second,
it was still there right?
you should treasure those moments for as long as possible
happiness is a gift for us
laugh as much as possible
it involves smileing
which implies amusement
which implies pleasure
which implies happiness
maybe not always
nothing is ever always
not even your spirit
which continues on for a while
but my point is
to not waste your life
find happiness
and dont let things bring you down
An Idea
An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.

Just Dropped In
To see what condition my condition was in)
(mickey newbury)
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I woke up this mornin with the sundown shinin in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag within
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin out as I was a-crawlin in
I got up so tight I couldnt unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
Someone painted april fool in big black letters on a dead end sign
I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind
Eight miles outta memphis and I got no spare
Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Yeah yeah oh-yeah

Tears and pain
Tears and pain in eyes
What do the people talk and try?
What do they have idea about pain and smile?
When have they under gone agony meanwhile?
No one may be able to explain
As it is really true pain
On love there is loss only and no gain
But love is love and no matter how much is the pain
Can any one guess?
What can be worry on face?
Who would love to show it or chase?
When happiness is lost in advance
Lovers are different kind of animals
Happiness and joy is known only on its arrival
They are unaware of separation and sadness
When that comes before them in some cases
I shall salute for their feeling
As it is outcome of pure willing
No one demands as pre condition
It is self emotion with ignition
No one knows where they will be driven?
What will be their fate incase forgotten
It is purely a chance and coincidence
There is no yes for insistence

zz 223 A speech before the Spartan assembly
Pursuit of happiness throws out of true
a form as lithe as pairing body/mind.
My “happiness” is for the syssitia few.
The other is as unbalanced as unkind.
Happiness? It causes ranks to waver.
Happiness makes hand crawl towards the theft.
Greed and desire, are they not the saviors
of happiness? They speak to the depraved.
And happiness based on romantic love
brings down the populace worse than a murrain.
Insidious passions make the purest grief
alive, dry up the womb and leave it barren.
Unless love is lovemaking and they wed
Lakonia, and let her grasses bed.

Another reckless holiday
Another brain cell floats away
I've had enough, please wake me up ---if I'm dreaming
Half these friends, fading fast, burning out, into ash
Where you wanna go cuz I will follow?
What you can't stomach, I will swallow.
Dissatisfied, dissatisfied, dissatisfied
Its alright, alright
Don't worry everything's gonna be alright
Its alright
Don't worry everything's gonna be alright, alright, alright
Dissatisfied
If the best of times only last
In a second come io pass
Where you wanna go cuz I will follow?
What you can't stomach, I will swallow.
Dissatisfied, dissatisfied, dissatisfied. Its alright, alright
Don't worry everything's gonna be alright
Its alright
Don't worry everything's gonna be alright, alright, alright Dissatisfied
Another reckless holiday
Another brain cell floats away
I've had enough, please wake me up ---if I'm dreaming
Another never-ending night
Another long and sleepless life
I've had enough, please wake me up -if I'm dreaming
Twenty more days since we've been gone, and I'm so sick of Twenty more nights I've spent alone, and I'm so sick of Twenty more days 'till I get home, and I'm so sick of being here

Of Course Your Idea Of Happiness Differs From Mine
Of course your idea of happiness
differs to mine,
You and me
we were built with different hands,
designed with different minds.
Of course your idea of happiness
centres around structure,
focuses on stability
Evolves around precise dinner times
daily chats, with the t.v muted
Happiness must be earned
worked for, battled for.
Of course my idea of happiness
spits upon yours,
I am the magnet of your attractions
I am everything you want but despise.
Yes sex is a must, it need not have
to be about trust,
Just a release to control the beast
within me,
Just a way of keeping the dog on it lead.
Yes talk is nice, after a bottle of wine,
or when I feel the need to share my angst.
Dinner is fine, but do not bitter it with the
mention of time,
I am a man, a savage, a poorly tuned radio,
An akward rebellious robot
I malfunction when overloaded.
Of course I love you,
But what is love...........

Cottage or Apartment
The roses' and the vines' fragrance,
Mingled with my cottage air.
Maine's preponderance of pines,
Surrounded my cottage fair.
The heavenly light ray,
Pierced through the fir tree.
It made my life there,
A nature fantasy.
That wooden kyake parked on the Sound,
Spoke to me of learning the sea.
Twittering birds and wild turkeys,
Spoke to me of how life should be.
But the human in me, never quite satisfied,
Yearned for alterations,
Of happiness that could have been,
A still happier life, that could have been.
But I started to focus on tiny details,
Of a flutter of a bird's wing.
Of the way these birds could sing.
Of the way these birds flew.
All these things my heart could not do.
It just could not do.
I now wanted to live in an apartment,
Dissatisfied with my cottage,
Dissatisfied with nature and God's forest,
And trees, and what could be.
Then I realized, how far I had strayed,
From my own childhood happiness,
That spontaneous happy ignition,
Where happiness resided.
But I never opened that shiny door,
Where this happiness was stored.
Well, I now smelled the pine tree needles,
The freshness of that inviting river,
That babbling brook of my Maine,
Where my cottage stood,
Way in the undergrowth,
Where my feet wanted to trod.
Down that way to that awaiting happiness,
Given to each of us, free by God,
That lay deep, so deep in our heart.
That I would never from this cottage part.
To any move to any apartment, anywhere,
To seek some fantasy happiness,
But uncapturable again,
Since once again, depending on outside appearances.
Godly happiness, once more ignored.
So both the cottage and the apartment failed you.
Childhood happiness, once more ignored.
No cottage nor apartment living, could your happiness find.

I love the art form of songwriting. I get to carry a lot of vibes to a lot of people. My songs are all about the human condition, and people will be able to find themselves in my songs.

The common idea that success spoils people by making them vain, egotistic, and self-complacent is erroneous -- on the contrary, it makes them, for the most part, humble, tolerant, and kind. It is failure that makes people bitter and cruel.
