I have come slowly into possession of such powers as I have. I receive the opinions of my day. I do not conceive them. But I receive them into a vivid mind.

The Love of the Truth
'They perish because they did not receive the love of
the truth, that they might be saved.' 2 Thess.2: 10
There is a receiving of 'the truth', and a receiving of
'the love of the truth'. These two things widely differ.
To receive the truth will not necessarily save; for many
who receive the truth, never receive 'the love of the truth'.
Professors by thousands receive the truth into their
judgment, and adopt the plan of salvation as their creed;
but are neither saved nor sanctified thereby. But to receive
'the love of the truth' by Jesus being made sweet and
precious to the soul, is to receive salvation itself.
'Yes, He is very precious to you who believe.' 1 Peter 2: 7

I Receive
This beautiful gift You have given me...
I receive.
And grateful I am blessed,
It is yet from the peak...
Of its bloom unfolding.
I receive this breath of life You give.
I admit I am inquisitive...
To witness an obstacle that sits.
And You assist with a lift of it,
Off my path.
The faith I have,
Does not ask of You how this is done.
I receive my challenges,
In all ways they come to be wrapped.
To let me know my life...
Is full of assorted delights.
Some I may or may not like,
But they are mine.
And I receive what it is You wish for me.
In prayer everyday in the way I know I can...
I thank You.

Its Presence
Can you see it?
Can you feel it?
Can you perceive...
Conceive, receive and believe it?
You will!
Nothing will prevent 'Its' presence!
Endorsing remorse,
Is not the cause...
Or the course of this mission!
Keep your eyes open!
There is no use for a closed mind now!

Dreams
Dreams come in any shape or form
With a positive or negative outcome
You got to believe
In the ideas you conceive
Dreams come and go
Let your thoughts flow
You got to believe
In the ideas you conceive
Dreams can suddenly explode
From novice to advanced mode
Dreams can be boring or be fun
To be real they all need to be worked on
You got to believe
And live with the ideas you conceive
You got to believe
If you give you will eventually receive
Dreams are special
Dreams are emotional
But many a dream
Is only attained as a team

Get to Stepping and Adventure Your Life
Travel on!
My brothers.
Travel on...
My sisters, fathers, mothers.
And others who recover,
From disturbance they discover.
Travel on...
All you people under steeples,
Who can not get off your knees.
As your backs are burden with such guilt,
To plead forgiveness endlessly.
Travel on...
To see your life as it should be.
Unlimited with happiness!
Believe it and receive.
Travel on...
Get to stepping and adventure your life!
Move it like you knew it!
Travel on!
My brothers
Travel on...
My sisters, fathers, mothers.
And others who recover.
Travel on...
Get to stepping and adventure your life!
To see your life as it should be.
Unlimited with happiness...
Believe it and receive.
Travel on...
Get to stepping and adventure your life!
To see your life as it should be.
Unlimited with happiness...
Believe it and receive.
Travel on...
Get to stepping and adventure your life!

Travel on...
Get to stepping and adventure your life!
See your life as it should be,

He Has Only Given
I've only told a few.
Not even you.
What it is that ticks my clock.
And gets me boiling hot...
Until the letting off of steam,
Slowly cools...
That anger that builds up in me.
With the acknowledgement...
My peace of mind is worth the 'keep'.
My peace within I wish not to release.
Or stop!
It keeps me going.
That's all I've got!
I've only told a few.
Not even you.
Who and what...
Stirs that pot,
I keep covered.
Not take off the lid,
To blow my top!
I've earned too much,
Just to sizzle and burn.
And the patience I have had,
To resist from going stark raving mad...
Is a blessing only God knows,
That I have what He has only given.
My lips have almost been bitten off.
But I've learned to chew and swallow my resentment.
And witness the doers,
Receive their due from their misdeeds done.
With a repeating that chills my heat...
As that boiling within me starts.
'I have what He has only given.
He has only given.
He has only given...
What I have.
And I am grateful to receive.'

Ego te absolve
When you are young then you believe
the whole world revolves about you.
Quite simply you cannot conceive
what you believe may not be true.
The whole world revolves about you
the centre of the universe.
As you so selfishly pursue
the great ambitions that you nurse.
Quite simply you cannot conceive
that other people have in their sights
far different dreams which they perceive.
As being well within their rights.
What you believe may not be true
as you mature you’re sure to learn.
The world does not exist for you.
You will receive just what you earn.

Signal To Noise
You know the way that things go
When what you fight for starts to fall
And in that fuzzy picture
He writing stands out on the wall
So clearly on the wall
Send out the signals deep and loud
And in this place, can you reassure me
With a touch, a smile while the cradles burning
All the while the world is turning to noise
Oh the more that its surrounding us
The more that it destroys
Turn up the signal
Wipe out the noise
Send out the signals deep and loud
Man Im losing sound and sight
Of all those who can tell me wrong from right
When all things beautiful and bright
Sink in the night
Yet theres still something in my heart
That can find a way
To make a start
To turn up the signal
Wipe out the noise
Wipe out the noise
Wipe out the noise
You know thats it

You know thats it
You know thats it
Receive and transmit
You know thats it
You know thats it
Receive and transmit

Laughter, while it lasts, slackens and unbraces the mind, weakens the faculties and causes a kind of remissness and dissolution in all the powers of the soul; and thus it may be looked on as weakness in the composition of human nature. But if we consider the frequent reliefs we receive from it and how often it breaks the gloom which is apt to depress the mind and damp our spirits, with transient, unexpected gleams of joy, one would take care not to grow too wise for so great a pleasure of life.

The Me Factor
Confusion sometimes a theory shared begins.
It is said to those who give,
To learn to receive...
And let just giving end!
But when one is raised to do for others...
The Me Factor spoken may sit well for some,
But doesn't become another's druthers!
We are often told how selfish it is,
To think of oneself and how that is negative.
It is said 'to give' is better than 'to receive'.
Although in doing so...
Receiving for some is difficult to show!
Giving to give and thinking nothing of themselves...
Are many who live who believe 'to give' is positive!
And yes it is an act of unselfishness.
But many are living and not receiving proper rest!
And living to receive with a 'me' factor conceived,
Is the one thing they detest.
In this giving to receive cycle some suggest!
Confusion sometimes a theory shared begins.
It is said to those who give,
To learn to receive...
And let just giving end!
But when one is raised to do for others...
The Me Factor spoken may sit well for some,
But doesn't become another's druthers!

Everything Vivid oh so Real
So surreal
everything appears
too real to be real
sober wide eye lucid mind
hallucinations?
How dull our perception
what we deem to be real
hydrogen strawberry patch
purple atmosphere soil
harvest dawn
streaks of violet orange-red
blood shed
sky's living proof
cloud's ceremonial formation
channeling spirits of great
distant cousin mountain ranges
sky
vivid oh so real
trees
vivid oh so real
auto metallic body paint
vivid oh so real
neighbor's sleep eye smile
vivid oh so real
morning rabbithole obligations
vivid oh so real
stage and spot light silence
vivid oh so real
flying feathered wake-up calls
vivid oh so real
everything I see
everything I touch
vivid oh so real
everything I feel
everything I imagine
vivid oh so real
dew transfers from
air to grass to my
bare flesh
vivid oh so real
my body
everything within
everything without
vivid oh so real
tepid bitterness
lukewarm caffeine fix
vivid oh so real
every illusion
performed by the senses
vivid oh so real
meditations under fulsome
tree branches
peace of mind
vivid oh so real

Gift
There are many gifts;
we give one another,
but the greatest gift
anyone can receive
is the gift of unconditional love.
It comes in many forms
from that which we give our partner
and that which we give our friends.
We receive it readily
always never trying to abuse
the trust that comes with it
when we receive
the greatest gift
of unconditional love.

The Purpose of Meet
Mary and Glory were old friends
And met one day after decades.
Both were hurry more to pass on
Intelligence as to their own
Than to receive from the listener.
Both were ready more to give
Than to receive information.
Often talking both together,
Each heard little of what was said
By the other, and left pleased,
Each feeling higher than the other.
