But our society does not grant nontraditional forms of intelligence equal recognition, no matter how much it would help us get along or truly enrich our lives.

Ignorance is king. Many would not profit by his abdication. Many enrich themselves by means of his dark monarchy. They are his Court, and in his name they defraud and govern, enrich themselves and perpetuate their power. Even literacy they fear, for the written word is another channel of communication that might cause their enemies to become united. Their weapons are keen-honed, and they use them with skill. They will press the battle upon the world when their interests are threatened, and the violence which follows will last until the structure of society as it now exists is leveled to rubble, and a new society emerges. I am sorry: But that is how I see it.

The role of intelligence
Intelligence is to adapt and adopt.
Honesty, integrity and propriety
Are shown door by intelligence.
By intelligence the society is not made rich.

The point I am making is that in the more primitive forms of society the individual is merely a unit; in more developed forms of society he is an independent personality.

Intelligence That Is
Based upon intelligence,
And the presence of it shown.
There is very little evidence,
That those professing to have it...
Intelligence that is,
Are not self possessed with ego...
That is clearly overblown.
A recognition of this...
Begins a mental healing,
For one like this that should not resist it.
The mental healing that is!
An intelligence reflects,
A tolerance it accepts.
So many desire to inject their hollowness.
Without an empatheticness expressed,
That seems to be left missing!
If anyone is listening...
For a meaning to be comprehended.
They can not digest that concept.
This has been dismissed from self examination.
Yet they wish to profess an acknowledgement,
That keeps them successfully digressed...
In self obsession without an evaluation,
One can inspect and find agreeably impressive.

If 1 And 2 Were Equal
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have as many hearts as fists
If 1 and 2 were equal
we'd have confused shopping lists
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be less phone numbers to dial
If 1 and 2 were equal
noon would surely last a while
If 1 and 2 were equal
there'd be a nose under each eye
If 1 and 2 were equal
you couldn't say no to 'you and I? '
If 1 and 2 were equal
I think I'd be much more happy
'cause if 1 and 2 were equal
I would not be so lonely

The spirit of man has awakened and the soul of man has gone forth. Grant us the wisdom and the vision to comprehend the greatness of man's spirit, that suffers and endures so hugely for a goal beyond his own brief span. Grant us honor for our dead who died in the faith, honor for our living who work and strive for the faith, redemption and security for all captive lands and peoples. Grant us patience with the deluded and pity for the betrayed. And grant us the skill and valor that shall cleanse the world of oppression and the old base doctrine that the
strong must eat the weak because they are strong. Yet most of all grant us brotherhood, not only for this day but for all our years — a brotherhood not of words but of acts and deeds. We are all of us children of earth — grant us that simple knowledge. If our brothers are oppressed, then we are oppressed. If they hunger, we hunger. If their freedom is taken away, our freedom is not secure. Grant us a common faith that man shall know bread and peace — that he shall know justice and righteousness, freedom and security, an equal opportunity and an equal chance to do his best, not only in our own lands, but throughout the world. And in that faith let us march toward the clean world our hands can make. Amen.

No matter what Aristotle and the Philosophers say, nothing is equal to tobacco; it's the passion of the well-bred, and he who lives without tobacco lives a life not worth living.
Grant Us Peace, Father of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael
Grant us peace,
that we may not oppress our neighbors
Grant us justice,
that we may not enslave our neighbors
Grant us sanity,
that we may not torture our neighbors
Grant us mercy,
that we may not murder our neighbors
Grant us conscience
that we may not expel our neighbors
Grant us love,
that we may hunger for truth
Grant us discernment
that we may know what is ours, and what is not
Grant us decency
that we may return what we stole
Grant us courage
that we may admit what we’ve done
Give us strength to atone.
Ask only
that we end our silence.
Women tend to have recognition and peer group support - recognition from friends and family that this has to be a big issue in their lives. They're more comfortable expressing the need for support and receiving it.

To enrich the society
Hesitate to seek helps.
Hasten to offer helps
Be grateful for the helps.
Avoid causing hurts
Advance to amend hurts.
Be good to the people good.
Be ready to pardon.
Shed shy to ask pardon.
Don’t expect pardon
You’ll enrich yourself.
You’ll enrich others.
Then the society is rich.

Matter and energy.
Shakti is all pervasive power,
Symbolized in a female form.
From Shakti emanates matter and life.
The globe’s made of matter and energy.
Mater and energy constantly converts
Into each other in the universe.
Energy forms when matter performs.
Matter forms when energy performs.

Recognition
Everyone needs recognition
for the things that they do
especially by those who matter most.
If they ignore you, call you second best
the hurt festers deep inside
never letting you go.
You never release the full potential
of what you’re capable of.
Every talent need to be nurtured
especially by the ones you love.
That recognition by them
is important in your life.

Translated Out Of Gazaeus,
GOD grant thee thine own wish, and grant thee mine,
Thou who dost, best friend, in best things outshine ;
May thy soul, ever cheerful, ne'er know cares,
Nor thy life, ever lively, know grey hairs,
Nor thy hand, ever open, know base holds,
Nor thy purse, ever plump, know pleats, or folds,
Nor thy tongue, ever true, know a false thing,
Nor thy words, ever mild, know quarrelling,
Nor thy works, ever equal, know disguise,
Nor thy fame, ever pure, know contumelies,
Nor thy prayers know low objects, still divine ;
God grant thee thine own wish, and grant thee mine.

Murder is unique in that it abolishes the party it injures, so that society has to take the place of the victim and on his behalf demand atonement or grant forgiveness; it is the one crime in which society has a direct interest.
