There is no question but that the laws and principles which Solon laid down both foreshadowed and prepared the way for all republics of later ages, including our own.

Values are social norms — they're personal, emotional, subjective, and arguable. All of us have values. Even criminals have values. The question you must ask yourself is, Are your values based
upon principles? In the last analysis, principles are natural laws — they're impersonal, factual, objective and self-evident. Consequences are governed by principles and behavior is governed by values; therefore, value principles!

My idea here is that, inasmuch as certain cognitive tasks and principles are tied to nature's laws, these tasks and principles are indifferent to language, culture, gender, or the particular mode of information that is provided.

Perfect Justice
The boy donned his explosive vest
He had been brainwashed by the best
He was convinced by suicide
he’d be a martyr. Cause for pride
to all is friends and family
Too ignorant to question why.
His teacher was apparently
quite content to let others die.
When he himself was not prepared.
His life too precious to be spared
Though advocating suicide.
These evil men are satisfied.
Persuading naïve boys to die.
Although they are aware they lie.
The boys mere weapons for their use
The ultimate of child abuse.
Fortunately this boy was saved
the mechanism misbehaved
The bomb refused to detonate
A martyr’s death was not his fate.
The boy had been prepared to die
But now began to question why.
Allah refused his sacrifice.
Denied the promised paradise
Now honest clerics must explain
and re-interpret once again
The lessons which had been mistaught.
By priests who knowingly distort.
The laws laid down the in the Koran
to be observed by every man
which wicked men choose to defy.
Though they will answer when the die.
To Allah the compassionate
The burning lakes of fire wait
Though they repent it is too late
Their wickedness has sealed their fate.
The foolish boys they led astray
sure to be judged a different way.
By Allah the all merciful
The ways of god are wonderful.

Solon used to say that speech was the image of actions... that laws were like cobwebs, --for that if any trifling or powerless thing fell into them, they held it fast while if it were something weightier, it broke through them and was off.

At the heart of these challenges lies the question of how the institutions of the European Union make laws, the types of laws they pass and the effectiveness with which those laws are implemented on civil society and the economy.

Language is a process of free creation; its laws and principles are fixed, but the manner in which the principles of generation are used is free and infinitely varied. Even the interpretation and use of words involves a process of free creation.

Are You Ready?
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to climb another mountain
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to swim across the ocean
Are you ready?
Be prepared
To fill you plate
Be prepared
Dont hesitate
Be prepared
For a great big bust
Be prepared
To do what you must
Be prepared
To take a hit
Be prepared
To go for it
Be prepared
For a sneak attack
Be prepared
Just dont look back
They say, where theres a will theres a way
Weve heard, these are the things that they say
So.
Reach out for that big fat star
Stick to the groove
And go real far
Outrun the ones who steal the abar (? ? )
Are you ready?
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to blast into the future
Action boy now
Action girl now
Be prepared to rearrange the picture
Are you ready?

A new concept of god: “something not very different from the sum total of the physical laws of the universe; that is, gravitation plus quantum mechanics plus grand unified field theories plus a few other things equaled god." And by that all they meant was that here were a set of exquisitely powerful physical principles that seemed to explain a great deal that was otherwise inexplicable about the universe. Laws of nature… that apply not just locally, not just in Glasgow, but far beyond: Edinburgh, Moscow… Mars… the center of the Milky Way, and out by the most distant quarters known. That the same laws of physics apply everywhere is quite remarkable. Certainly that represents a power greater than any of us.
