Subjects That Are Taboo Mar 16th,2011
Has the “dying with dignity” debate reached the public yet?
Does it cause politicians to break out in a cold sweat?
Is it a religious thing or is it just not politically correct?
Should a long slow painful death be what we expect?
And why is the appointed Supreme Court allowed to decide?
Why not the politicians and parliament with lots of pride?
What do they talk about at these closed-door committee meetings?
If someone brought up death with dignity, are they subject to beatings?
Do our politicians think that they will never die?
And they will always be reelected and no one will ask why
Is assisted suicide on a list of things for them to do?
Or is it added to a long list of subjects that are taboo?

Malaam
This poem is yet for an appointed time but,
At the end it will speak to you and will not lie;
Though it seems so slow and it may delay,
Wait for it with your love and care for my muse!
It will surely come at the appointed time,
Because most of you are now being taken away by Satan!
That is why you do call sin enjoyment.
Like a great wind over the sea at last,
This poem is yet for an appointed time.
The stubboenness of the people is known by all,
So Malaam paid the fare and went down in to the ship;
And like lovely virgins and the story of the young men around,
But at the end with the hope of this poem which speaks with time.

Once Upon A Lifetime
Once upon a lifetime -
As though not my own -
Thinking blindly -
As if time stands still -
Viewing the past -
Almost seems surreal -
Was it ever what i thought?

[ Late August ]
Heat still sizzles in the fields
In August summer still yields
The sun shines to no regret
Wind sauntering 'til sunset
'though heat is being cool off by the rain
Preserving flowers, and meadow - green
But summer still taking what it brings
The August incense with fugacious wings
Bounty blooms, butterflies, bees are insane
Birds, crickets sing and the night listens
Summer's sky, bright burst so clear
It's the late August in summer's fair
Summer in August still in standby
Sooner balmy weather is coming by
The hot temper will bicker with cool air
With soothing breeze here comes September

Homeland Africa
Ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi
Ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi
Ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi
Down the ocean a ship comes sailing through the waves
Filled with hundreds of men they take as slaves
Just long for their true homeland africa
And to be saved they want to be free
Men women and babyslaves
Coming to the land of liberty, liberty
Ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi...
They are tired of waiting for a brand new day
Some of them sing and chant some of them pray
And some men got a little tired too
No one knows if the journey pay
Men women and babyslaves
Coming to the land of liberty, liberty
Ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi ship ahoi...

The Avocado Mutiny
I'll tell you a little secret
Girls don't usually tell
Childhood days I can't forget
When I was eight, oh well.
We were a group of five kids
Around the country neighborhood.
A lot of naughty things we did,
They were not really very good.
We'd climb the avocado trees
Pretend we were some pirate.
We'd swing each branch with naval ease,
And give a shout 'Hi Ho there Mate! '
I was their Missy Captain
Who steered the verdant ship.
We'd fight the foe with broken canes,
Who'd dare to cross my helmsmanship.
For meals, we surely had a feast!
A bounty in our cruise ship tree,
So ripe and tasty at the least-
What's more, they were all free.
After a while my crew got sick
And each one had to leave for home.
Resigned their post, gave up their stick,
From meals, a mutiny had come.
Each time I see an avocado
My mates they all come into mind.
I'd do things different now I know,
But a better captain, they can't find!

Jennifer Was a Sea Nymph
I had known Jennifer during the degree
She was the one who laughed in wild ecstasy
When the sea wind ruffled her hair
The ship was named after her
For the captain always remembered
How she laughed standing against the wind
In the front top point of the ship
Hairs in the air like a sea fairy
Hands extended towards the waters with passion
She was in love with the sea and the ship
She could be in the real self only there
She was a sea spirit incarnated
I still have her in mind
As one who fills the pages, with her
laughter and free spirit!

There, there the land of bounty lies
Many fingers point to the land
of bounty.
All feet lead to it.
All hearts cry out
and are satisfied.
All thirst quenched.
All needs catered by the
Owner of the Land of Bounty
He who also owns
the skies and seas.
You are a sad man.
Why?
Why do you always
shy away from the Man of Bounty?
This is something that
I cannot really understand.
Sad man, you must tell me.

Rose Of August
A soldier with heart in hand
A lonely woman with no one for a stand
Things just happen in this life afore
People just live and some just lived before
But a tear coming out of thee
It is indeed a tragedy
O ye, Rose of August Night
Damned let it be I say
That broke thy heart in such a play
Thy petals of that seldom beauty
Nothing for them, even gold in bounty
Let thy crown be higher than those of queens
Of lands seen and those behind scenes
Comparable not, O ye Rose of August night
Don't lose that tear my heart in beat
Heavens or hell I shall bring no matter how heat
Broken hearts can be mended with care
But my heart to whom shall it go in moments of scare
No way my diamond of heart can it follow
Until the green leaf of my youth shall become yellow
But only to you, my Rose of August night

I have a cousin named....
I have a cousin named tru,
Who is always more excited than you,
He jumps an dhe bounces,
in so many houses,
I have a cousin named tru,
Who might belong in a zoo,
He moos and he poos,
while on the news.
I have a cousin named tru,
Who will try o say boo,
when you come out the lou.
I have a cousin named tru,
Who probably won't say goo,
Because he's ay older than two,
Whose name is not sue.
I cousin named tru...
I love you tru!
No Amendments Please
The Americans can make amendments to their Bill of Rights,
It seems to solve the problems of many political fights,
But Canadians have a problem in trying to change our Charter,
Written back around the time of President Jimmy Carter.
Too many provinces, people, groups and complications involved,
Too much finger pointing, accusations and matters unresolved,
Under the command of appointees politically correct,
Appointed senators or appointed judges have the same affect.
The Swiss have binding referendums, which we are denied,
Even Oregon has death with dignity, which we can’t abide,
Because our aristocrat appointees all want to stay and stay,
You can’t change anything, so you… just better go away.

A Girl Named Paige
A girl named Paige
With eyes and a face so bright
A girl named Paige
Came into my dreary life
My life, so dark
So full of strife
A girl named Paige
About her I was told
To keep me away until I was old
A girl named Paige
A lesson she did teach
For me to keep sight of my reach
A girl named Paige
Broke my heart
As my world fell apart
A girl named Paige
Perfectly took the part
While adding another fool to her cart
A girl named Paige
Shook my whole world
My eyes were on no other girl
A girl named Paige
Fooled me into loving her
While she secretly lusted another, and another
A girl named Paige
Caused me endless pain
Of this, I'm not ashamed
A girl named Paige
Made me go insane
This girl is love's bane
A girl named Paige
Caused me to do so much
To love her such
A girl named Paige
Made my heart bleed
The woe of pain it did heed
A girl named Paige
I'll never be the same
In that group, she came
A girl named Paige
I loved a whole whole lot
A feeling she returned, did not
A girl named Paige
Others showed me how she was
She screws around just because
A girl named Paige
Has had several boyfriends
She shares between her and her best friend
A girl named Paige
Is sleeping around
Like her mother, she's been around town
A girl named Paige
Has 4 sisters
If you see her vermin family, you surely won't miss her
A girl named Paige
I felt so much emotion
Caused so much devastation
A girl named Paige
Fooled me she loved me so
She can't fool anyone no more
A girl named Paige
Has no future for her
She'll be working as a stripper
A girl named Paige
Will have a horrible existence
For her whole being is full of pestilence
A girl named Paige
Makes you love
A false gift from above
A girl named Paige
Should be gone from this world
She gives a bad name to all other girls
For Paige G.
With love, Joseph

August....
August is the month for kids it’s the last few weeks of freedom before a new school year begins.
August is the month where many parents are excited that its here cause they don’t want their kids home alone.
August is the last month before fall begins.
August is the only month that has fewer holidays than most months.
August is the month where most teens are happy because it means that it’s the last school year for most.
August is the month that I really don’t care for but I also like as well.

The earth only has so much bounty to offer and inventing ever larger and more notional prices for that bounty does not change its real value.

Aboard At A Ship's Helm
ABOARD, at a ship's helm,
A young steersman, steering with care.
A bell through fog on a sea-coast dolefully ringing,
An ocean-bell--O a warning bell, rock'd by the waves.
O you give good notice indeed, you bell by the sea-reefs ringing,
Ringing, ringing, to warn the ship from its wreck-place.
For, as on the alert, O steersman, you mind the bell's admonition,
The bows turn,--the freighted ship, tacking, speeds away under her
gray sails,
The beautiful and noble ship, with all her precious wealth, speeds
away gaily and safe.
But O the ship, the immortal ship! O ship aboard the ship! 10
O ship of the body--ship of the soul--voyaging, voyaging, voyaging.
