Thyroid
I've got a tin of fruit in my thyroid baby
A neurotic robotic
I've got a tin schizo in my thyroid honey
A despotic robotic
I've got an android in my thyroid baby
An exotic robotic
Whizzes round in my thyroid honey
A psychotic robotic
I've got a pepper corn callous thyroid
A honey of a fruit
I've got a kipper born in my thyroid sweet
A funny old suit
I've got a zipper torn in the thyroid baby
A runny bald lute
I've got a schizo zipper in my thyroid sugar
A despotic honey coat
I've got an android corn in my thyroid baby
A thyroid

83 Medley
Ive these dreams im
Walking home
Home when it used to be
And everything is
As it was
Frozen in front of me
Here I stand
6 feet small
Romanticizing years ago
Its a bitter sweet feeling hearing wrapped around your finger on the
Radio
And these days
I wish I was 6 again
Oh make me a red cape
I wanna be superman
Oh, if only my life was more like
1983
All these things would be more like they were at the
Start of me
Had it made in 83
Thinking bout my brother ben
I miss him every day
He looks just like his brother john
But on an 18 month delay
Here I stand
6 feet small
And smiling cause Im scared as hell
Kind of like my life is like a sequel to a movie
Where the actors names have changed
Oh well
Well these days
I wish I was 6 again
Oh make me a red cape
I wanna be superman
Oh, if only my life was more like
1983
All these things would be more like they were at the
Start of me
If my life was more like
1983
Id plot a course to the source of the purest little part of me
And most my memories
Have escaped me
Or confused themselves with dreams
If heavens all we want it to be
Send your prayers to me
Care of 1983
You can paint that house a rainbow of colors
Rip out the floorboards
Replace the shutters but
Thats my plastic in the dirt
Whatever happened to my
Whatever happened to my
Whatever happened to my lunchbox
When came the day that it got
Thrown away and dont you think I should have had some say
In that decision

Canadian born
We first saw light in Canada, the land beloved of God;
We are the pulse of Canada, its marrow and its blood:
And we, the men of Canada, can face the world and brag
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.
Few of us have the blood of kings, few are of courtly birth,
But few are vagabonds or rogues of doubtful name and worth;
And all have one credential that entitles us to brag--
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.
We've yet to make our money, we've yet to make our fame,
But we have gold and glory in our clean colonial name;
And every man's a millionaire if only he can brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.
No title and no coronet is half so proudly worn
As that which we inherited as men Canadian born.
We count no man so noble as the one who makes the brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.
The Dutch may have their Holland, the Spaniard have his Spain,
The Yankee to the south of us must south of us remain;
For not a man dare lift a hand against the men who brag
That they were born in Canada beneath the British flag.
