I Counted On Love
Morse, Walsh)
-----------------
I'm hangin on, 'cause I hate letting go (I hate letting go)
I'm not that strong, but you already know how I hate letting go
We believed that dreams came true, now that picture's torn in two
I counted on love but love will never cry for me
I counted on love but love will never lie for me
I counted on love but lover say goodbye for me
I counted on love
Some great defender, is that what you need? To heal not to bleed
Some great pretender shouting
"SET YOURSELF FREE- SET YOURSELF FREE"
Why do memories have to be like a lock without a key?
I counted on love but love will never cry for me
I counted on love but love will never lie for me
I counted on love but lover say goodbye for me
I was flying oh so high
Now I'm trying not to cry
I was trying, but I'm dying, 'cause I hate letting go
I counted on love but love will never cry for me
I counted on love but love will never lie for me
I counted on love but lover say goodbye for me
I counted on love
I counted on you

To be pitiably old
Besides parents and grand parents,
Aunts and uncles were counted on.
Besides father and mother,
Nephews and nieces were counted on.
Besides brothers and sisters,
Sons and daughters were counted on.
Then their children were contemplated on.
I count days, with no more to be counted on.

At The End...
it is not the quantity, not the length
you know it, it is the quality, for you are weighed
and not counted,
it is never the number of days, the delay in the
falling of the sands, the slipping away,
it is the wideness of that vast expanse of the
oceans in your heart,
it is the why, and not the how.

Like Jayalailtha
You aren’t weighed against your success;
You are weighed against your failures.
How you face, how you deal with crises
And how you muster energy-
Physical and mental,
To turn the impossible possible,
As Jay, the royal, demonstrated

Words and deeds are not weighed in the same balance.
Stealing Babies (feat. Elvin Jones)
I'm teething on the answers you're saving
How are you going to make me sleep again?
Well I'm dreaming while you're stealing babies
When you gonna make me understand?
Why?
How should I say "I'm so sorry!"
How should I pray, to know that we're alive
Eve stands alone
By the knock on the Door
By the thin in her bones
She's courageous and loving
Exhausted and cold
She's not ready to go
But the ghost on the phone
Helps her safely into her dream
You're leaving pieces of family
How you gonna help them understand
Well I'm screaming
While you're stealing babies
Why you wanna knock us down again?
Why?
How should I say "I'm so sorry!"
How should we pray, to make us feel alive?
Eve stands alone
By the knock
On the door
By the thin in her bones
She's courageous and loving
Exhausted and cold
She's not ready to go
So the ghost on the phone
Helps her safely into her dream
It must be our egos
It must be my lack
Of faith that it might not come back
It must be our egos
It must be my lack
Of faith that it might not come back
I've been weighed down again
I'm weighed down again
I've been weighed down again
I'm weighed down...
Weighed down...
Weighed down...
Weighed down...
Down...
Down...
Down

I had only played five games in my senior year in high school. I was not large enough. Hell, when I graduated, I was about five foot four and weighed 120 pounds. I didn't go with the Dodgers until spring training of 1940 and I weighed all of 155 pounds soaking wet.

Do Not Mind The Volume, I Do Not Mind It At All Too...
do not criticize me for the quantity
i do not mind, it is the most normal thing that happens
in the ordinariness of my
life,
true, we are weighed, we are not counted,
because the numbers do not matter at all
i know that perfectly
but do not worry, do not make it a problem at all
because it is the most normal even that happens
in the most ordinary day of my life,
i, too long, for the One,
the God of Quality, the One that perhaps the whole of this
galaxy shall seek and
worship and hence cannot ever forget
but honestly, what is the use of the One
when you do not allow me to speak my Mind anymore?
what is the use of those streams of
consciousness
if in the last years of my life
i shall offer you only a single line
must it sound to be the best
epitaph of the
Tutankhamen Tomb?

Fickle companions
Words come and go
Fickle companions
Like time, that changes
Without warning
What remains constant
Is the deeper knowing
That what we feel
Is true
Unfettered by words or time
Nor counted in lives
That once born
Must, pass on
Our story shall continue
From the past
Into the future, even when
The present, meanders away

Said The Poet To The Analyst
My business is words. Words are like labels,
or coins, or better, like swarming bees.
I confess I am only broken by the sources of things;
as if words were counted like dead bees in the attic,
unbuckled from their yellow eyes and their dry wings.
I must always forget who one words is able to pick
out another, to manner another, until I have got
somethhing I might have said…
but did not.
Your business is watching my words. But I
admit nothing. I worth with my best, for instances,
when I can write my praise for a nickel machine,
that one night in Nevada: telling how the magic jackpot
came clacking three bells out, over the lucky screen.
But if you should say this is something it is not,
then I grow weak, remembering how my hands felt funny
and ridiculous and crowded with all
the believing money.

Fasika
'Qodesh La-Yahweh'!
Ask Chief Dishan about the truth and,
try to eat unleavened bread to keep you up;
For the marriage contract needs to be fulfilled.
He is your offspring like,
The promised seed counted from Isaac;
And the Torah is the book of the law of Yahweh.
Fasika, i am in the Valley of Berachah with the words of Yahweh;
But you have to learn like a Restaurant in Japan where,
Monkeys are the waiters and the waitresses!
Of the muse of the food that they do serve,
Of the rate of people who want ot see the monkeys,
Of the rate of life when one is being served by a monkey!
But the promised seed is counted from Isaac.

A Man Reaps What He Sows
Careless intent reaps much discord
And many a time, it harvests offense
A bitter root grows from our words
As the wounds it cuts are truly immense.
And God will not be mocked
A man shall reap all that he sows
Man's words be weighed the Good it lacked
For God does hear and knows.
