I'd love to do acting, but it'd definitely have to be comedy. I can't do serious. It's completely beyond me.

I think that comedy really tells you how it is. The other thing about comedy is that - you don't even know if you're failing in drama, but you do know when you're failing in comedy. When you go to a comedy and you don't hear anybody laughing, you know that you've failed.

John was the smartest and most amazing comedian I've ever worked with. I think more than teaching me about acting or comedy, he taught me about life and the love of people and respect of people.

At those times I got into... I suppose you call it a rut. I used to do comedy, comedy, comedy and I suddenly thought I ought to break away from this somehow.
There's a lot of comedy in Intermission but it's got this depth. It's not comedy for comedy's sake - it's informed by something else. I like stuff like that.

I was taken by the romanticism of being thought of as an adult and living in a world that was completely new to me. I fell in love with acting then.

I love drama, I feel that that’s much easier. They say that dying is easy and comedy is hard. Comedy is definitely more challenging but I love doing both.

I take my fun very seriously, whether it's playing the drums or acting in comedy bits. The need to be disciplined about it, and not take it lightly, and not be too casual, is something I take deeply to heart.

I love acting with kids, cause they're great acting partners. They're totally present. Even when they're acting, they're still available and you can crack them up or something weird will happen and they'll go with it.

Yet there are some people - Steve Allen would dissect comedy forever; he's a really funny guy, but he would love talking about comedy. I'm doing it right now and you all seem bored.
Theo does comedy now, and he's traveling around the country doing comedy, and I actually just saw him, he's from Louisiana, and I just saw him when I went home to visit my family in Louisiana. I saw his comedy show and he was brilliant.

I'd like to do a comedy with Emma Thompson. I admire her as an actress so much. I love her. And I didn't know it until recently that her whole career started in comedy.

We look at some similar areas in such a completely different way. We're a comedy, we're very contemporary. We're very much about the impact of celebrity and fame on an individual in today's world.

Stricken
I love you completely
I guess Im kinda mad about you
I love you, I love you I do
Love overcomes all of my senses
Lowers all of my defenses, yeah
And all of your faults vanish to a blind daze
Your bitterness erased by my sense of taste
And harsh words are deafened by love
I love you completely
I couldnt be madder about you
I love you, I love you I do
I love you completely
Theres nothin I see bad about you
I love you, I love you I do
Love welcomes me to every new day
The stars are all falling down my way, yeah
And all of the planets are lined in the sky
The lights are shining down upon you and i
My world is stricken by love
Kiss me over and over forever and ever my love
Kiss me all over and over forever and ever my love
The love I have for you
Makes me blind I cant see
The love I have for you
Cuts my throat I cant speak
The love I have for you makes me numb
I cant feel
The love I have for you makes me numb
I cant feel
But boy, oh boy, oh boy
I love you
Completely, yeah
I love you, I love you - I do do do do

I hadn't done just a straight-out comedy in a long time, just letting an ensemble do really good character acting, having them carry the movie as in my earlier pictures.

Spoiled
Sometimes,
I know You may find me acting...
As if You do not exist.
That's when my free will works overtime.
And my choice to decide I can not push aside.
You did this to me to see what I would do.
To see if I would totally forget my relationship,
With You.
How can I do this when You bombard me with gifts?
I am completely spoiled and this I am sure You can not miss!
Sometimes,
I know You may find me acting...
As if You do not exist.
That's when my free will works overtime.
And my choice to decide I can not push aside.
But Father?
You are everything I AM.
And I have yet to be all there is You wish for me to be.
So 'if' You see me acting as 'if' You do not exist...
Know that I do the best I can to want to impress You!

Completely
Completely, wanna give my love completely
Id rather be alone than be in love just half the way
I want to find someone that I can trust
Completely, wanna give my heart completely
To someone wholl completely give their heart to only me
And when I find that one
Thats when Ill fall in love
Chorus
Completely
Not half but whole
With heart and soul
Completely
Not in between
But everything
Completely
Thats the way its gotta be
The way I want someone to fall in love with me
Forever wanna feel the word forever
And know therell be somebody there forever by my side
And when that feeling comes
Thats when Ill give my love
Repeat chorus
Its all or nothing at all for this heart of mine
And I wont give up this heart till the day I find
Someone who needs me
Repeat chorus
The way I need someone to fall in love with me
