Remember above all that mental stability comes by examining the contents of the mind, not by avoidence.

The way to find out about our place in the universe is by examining the universe and by examining ourselves - without preconceptions, with as unbiased a mind as we can muster.

Go Mental
Out of the hospital out against my will
Life is so beautiful Ive gone mental
Mental mental
Ive killed my family they thought I was an oddity
Life is so beautiful I am a vegetable
Mental mental
Ive gone mental Ive gone mental
Staring at my goldfish bowl popping phenobarbitol
Life is so beautiful Ive gone mental mental mental
Sitting on my window sill life is so beautiful

It is difficult to write about any form of mental disease, especially your own, without sounding as if you were examining a bug under glass.

From The Inside (Fun Poem 124)
Just imagine examining
your eyelids from the inside.
You close your eyes to rest them
and someone says you’re asleep,
but you are not, just examining
your eyelids from the inside.
Now how can anyone blame you
when you’ve been up
for twenty-four hours.
You don’t want to be rude
especially in front of friends,
so you just use the excuse
instead of saying your tired
that you are just examining
your eyelids from the inside.

I remember once I read a book on mental illness and there was a nurse that had gotten sick. Do you know what she died from? From worrying about the mental patients not being able to get their food. She became a mental patient.

Fully Fitted
Remember to close the door behind you,
For the elastic band is all about your love;
But fully fitted is the muse of your mind,
And like the wods of peace from afar.
Tension,
Pains,
Stability,
Filled!
And like the blue frame in your room;
But remember to close the door behind you.

A Heartfelt Mind or a Mind-boggling Heart
Which is harder for a person to change-a heart or a mind?
If you are a woman, would it be harder to change her heart
Because she relies more on the stability of her heart
Than the stability of her mind or would it be easier for
Her to change her heart because she is using it much more
Frequently than her mind to control her emotions for men?
If you are a man, would it be harder to change his mind
Because he is always trying to outsmart the woman to
Attract her to him since women are more attracted to
Men's intelligence than men's hearts they seldom use
Except when they are with a woman they love or think
They love? Otherwise, would it be easier for him to change
His mind because he is much more comfortable using and
Expanding his mind than he is with his somewhat dormant,
Inexperienced heart he doesn't know how to fully trust yet?

Mental
Its like Im dressed up in my mothers clothing
Its like Im talking to a voice that doesnt exist
Its like I got a wire crossed upstairs
But all I want is just a little truth and thats it
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Another anchor man is on the t.v.
Hes got that far away and vacant look in his eyes
I turn the channel but nothings changing
The only truth is that everythings a lie
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Theres truth in everything
Theres truth in lies
With all this knowledge
I think Im gonna be wise
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Not at all
Not at all

Appreciated Effort
Examining him from head to toe,
I've my own worries to share with you;
She saw love in him and couldn't stop looking.
Examining him from head to toe,
I can't shoulder your problems as well;
His skin was as young as a boy.
Appreciated effort,
With love, scope and imaginations;
Appreciated effort,
With sharply defined muscles over his torso;
That's the love that she finds in him.
Very handsome, very lovely;
An appreciated effort to the one she loves.
Very pretty, very lovely;
An appreciated effort to the one she loves.
What we do and how we do it is all in the name of love,
'Ah, mademoiselle'!
The voice of the man to the curious woman;
She saw love by examining him from head to toe.
He is really a poet and the inevitable occurred,
Dressed in a flowing lavender gown to approach the man;
Ah! Their love met with a kiss,
'Oh my dear'! She finally managed to say words like these;
But the human brain of his man is very far ahead of mankind.
I'm not certain but only hopeful,
'You are mine and mine only' were the very words;
She had finally found love by examining him from head to toe.

Translating You
You are from us
Ribs, remember
You have flown away from us
Blackbird, remember
You never return
Saying, i am happier in the desert
Where the sunset is blood red
You left us
Some footprints that
I am now busying with some interpretations
You nod
And i move on with some fun
Trying to enjoy what is there examining what is it really that you left with us
I am digesting gold
And with the precious metals, how can i ever be full?
I should have eaten rice and salted fish
As once my mother wished?

Remember When I Gave You That Rose?
Remember
Those times of yesteryear?
Remember
That night I held you near?
Remember
How we were so close?
Remember
That song we always chose?
Remember
The way we shared our mind?
Remember
How we were one of a kind?
Remember
Those words you spoke to me?
Remember
How clearly we would often see?
Remember
Your beauty and escentric pose?
remember
When I gave you that rose?

Violated
I feel as if I have been violated.
Like an intrusion has taken place.
And I can not put my finger on it.
It was if something entered my space...
Uninvited and unseen!
Within seconds an emptiness I had faced,
Was suddenly replaced.
Stripping away my peace to erase...
Any selfishness.
And the safe pace I kept with it!
No longer common was my sense.
I could not move.
Even though I was incensed
I was being violated.
Like my mind was being raped.
I laid half unconscious and half awake.
'Something' was examining my mental state!
I say to you I was violated!
And it was no mistake!
Something had visited...
Without an invitation!
Taking what I valued and changing it!
As I accepted the rearrangement,
Without a muscle from me to lift!
'What is this? '
I thought and drifted back to sleep!

Suggested As a Recommendation
Forgiveness is a process of one's state of mind.
And in most cases...
An acceptance occurs.
A tit for a tat...
And an eye for an eye,
For what it is and means...
Can and should be avoidable.
However,
And I am a firm believer of this...
If someone has already submitted a leave of absence,
During these periods.
An accountability for what takes place...
For whatever happens to another,
When misdeeds are done directly...
Or behind one's back purposely to disgrace.
And a retaliation has been committed,
During times when one is under mental duress.
Any steps then taken to correct one's health,
Should be regarded as progress.
With 'that' as the main goal to achieve!
And one should then be praised,
For a recovery that heals in success.
And any doctor concerned,
Will prescribe the best remedy to keep a mind healthy.
Many of us have gone through that!
If not...
And this is a fact,
A second opinion is always suggested...
As a recommendation.
Remember...
Keeping in good physical and mental condition,
Determines the degree of one's happiness!
