I always have a good reason for taking something out but I never have one for putting something in. And I don't want to, because that means that the picture is being painted predigested.

The State and Property are the great embodiments of possessiveness; it is for this reason that they are against life, and that they issue in war. Possession means taking or keeping some good thing which another is prevented from enjoying; creation means putting into the world a good thing which otherwise no one would be able to enjoy. Since the material goods of the world must be divided among the population, and since some men are by nature brigands, there must be defensive possession, which will be regulated, in a good community, by some principle of impersonal justice. But all this is only the preface to a good life or good political institutions, in which creation will altogether outweigh possession, and distributive justice will exist as an uninteresting matter of course. The supreme principle, both in politics and in private life, should be to promote all that is creative, and so to diminish the impulses and desires that center round possession.

The directing of a picture involves coming out of your individual loneliness and taking a controlling part in putting together a small world. A picture is made. You put a frame around it and move on. And one day you die. That is all there is to it.

One Good Reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Like a thief youve stolen
Like rain on a grave
Like a priest whos spoken
But failed to save
Now the air is empty
And the ground the same
Love has gone to be buried
Beside my name
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Why couldnt you have told me
About your liars kiss
I cant believe youd leave me
At a time like this
And the wind is howling
And its a dying dream
And my faith is silent
While my doubts scream
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care

(Strange Poem) Angry Aliens
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
Their is nothing you can do.
Your fear is pointless.
Your defenses are useless.
When they're done, their will no one left save.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
With instruments both sharp and dull.
An incision right across you skull.
An plantation technology unknown.
You will be a clone.
Do what they say.
How they say.
Their is just no other way.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
They will not explain their reasoning.
For your limited minds could never comprehend such matters.
It would drive you completely insane.
They do not understand why you struggle so much.
They see you as cows they need to herd in their pens.
For food, for experimentation, for divination.
Does the reason even matter.
A purpose that will never be exposed.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
If you had the power would you not do the same.
Do we not do this to other creatures we consider of lesser intelligence.
And if given the power do you think they would take upon a swift vengeance.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
Angry aliens their coming to get you.
Invading the body by unknowing means.
Taking control of your mind.
Their no stopping them now.
You better just listen to what say.
They expect you to completely and fully obey.
They are the angry aliens.

Where Am I?
Where I am is never to be known,
The picture painted never to be shown,
Only to be seen by those whose reason
Will be passenger to the imaginations direction.

Listen Mister
Written by: myles goodwyn
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
I can see inside your head
To the back of your mind, yeah
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Here I am on my knees
And not afraid of dieing
Suddenly it occurs to me
There was really no sense in trying
Yes I know it seems strange to you
But its our way of living
I cant see for the life of me
Why youre so afraid to reason
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
Things just arent like they use to be
Nd theres no sense in tryin
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see

Live Forever
You painted me a picture of tomorrow
A place where you and I walked hand in hand
A world without despair and without shadows
But things just didn't turn out how we'd planned
Now you're gone
(Chorus)
And I believe that there is somewhere
Where the angels fill the sky
And I believe we'll live forever
You and I, you and I
Will never die
I wonder if you knew that you were leaving
I thought that I saw something in your eyes
You painted me a picture of believing
I'll see you there on the other side
And I'll be there

A Wonderful Woman
A good talk is so up lifting
Taking one away from drifting
No thinking of if-ing
Just a good talk
One that make you want to walk
But not stalk...
One that take you back in years
Remembering your young tears and fears.
The laughter of childhood...
Damn! a good talk is so good.
Filling your heart with warmth
Putting dreams out of place...
Adding to your world lace...
And not haste.
A good talk and the world stands still...
What a thrill...
taking away ones ills...
Forgetting about ones pills...
Damn! what a good talk will do for you.
Opening up things within...
That you re-live again...
That good talk is with a woman.
A woman you enjoy...
A good talk taking from toy of being a boy.
The things a good woman is capable of...
Without making love.
So I thank the good LORD above...
For speech...
And what a good woman can teach.
All in a good talk...
A conversation without a face...
But on the over side woman.
A woman with grace.

Last Night You Sent A Picture
last night
you sent a picture
a face surrounded with flowers.
i sent mine
a face waiting for your body
in bed.
you sent another picture this time
it is your son saying
leave her alone and
so i sent a picture of my wife
kissing my lips and too saying
leave him alone
he is mine.
this morning you say
i'm sorry and i am wondering
if i have to send another picture
thru the MMS
saying: are you the mistress of the ruins?
sorry? what are you sorry for?
we have nothing. I am only giving you
what you ask. Just giving.
Not taking.
yes, not taking you
seriously. And you like it?
love this poem. Play me.
You still like toys. Toy me.

A Picture Painted Expresses A Thousand Words
People may make claims,
That a picture painted...
Expresses a thousand words.
When exhibited as observed.
And if that is true...
Why is it that the very same people,
Upon getting explicit explanations...
Aren't comprehending what they've heard,
To further ask unending questions?
Or could it be,
That picture painted once received...
Purchased and possessed,
Has deceived one's perception of it...
Once removed from its impressive setting,
That changes its effectiveness.

Blush
A beauty discreet, in a picture did meet
Her fate, her life, her soul painted sweet
She blushed and the picture faded into her cheek
And now that blush of love, in her heart we seek
The simple art, of simple love, painted sweet

Day Tripper
Ive got a good reason
For taking the easy way out
I got a good reason
For taking the easy way out
She was a day tripper
One way ticket, yeah
It took me so
So long to find out but I found out
Now shes a big teaser
She took me half the way there
Shes a big teaser
She took me half the way there
It was a day tripper
Sunday driver now
It took me so
So long but you know I found out
You can try to please her
She only plays one night stands
You can try just to please her
She only plays one night stands
She was a day tripper
One way baggage, yeah
It took me so
So long, well you know that I found out
(when I found out, when found out)
I got a good reason
For taking the easy way out
Yes, I got a good reason
For taking the easy way out
She was a day tripper
One way driver, yeah
It took me so long to find out
But I found out
Well, I got a good reason
For taking the easy way out
Yes, I got a good reason
Girl, for taking the easy way out
She was a day tripper
One way ticket, yeah
It took me so
So long to find out but I found out

Take A Picture
Just a picture, could mean a couple words,
But the one I hold dearly close to my heart,
Means more to me than anything else,
This photograph, you I love in black and white.
There are so many things I could say,
Though one word stands out amongst the rest,
It starts with love and ends with you,
The one I want to share with every single moment.
To be with you, at your side, and experience the joys,
Or you in my arms, holding you close to me, as you cry,
We're a team together, we work things out,
So we can both remember these dreams.
I've held your picture as I dream of us,
One day, we'll be holding our picture,
Wedding bells or birthday wishes,
Whichever comes first, I'll always be there.
Be there, when we say our wedding vows,
Or holding your hand as we welcome our new child,
Cheering you on when you go to your new job,
Seeing you smile as life passes us by.
I don't know what else to write or say,
As I look at the picture in my hands,
Putting my pen down and wishing you goodnight,
This photo of you, in black and white.
Icb
My love falls from heaven
To talk of this strange design
Then it goes forever
Where all things never die
People look whenever
These races have been won
Minds just for breathing
When the means for this have begun
Its so far away, and its closing in
Its so far away, and it seems to travel in
Taken from the killing ground
By all dividing hands
With no sense or reason,
They came, they found, they ran
Taking good advantage of
All the things they are told
I washed my hands of innocence
When you started taking control
Its so far away, and its closing in
Its so far away, and it seems to travel in

My Madonna
I haled me a woman from the street,
Shameless, but, oh, so fair!
I bade her sit in the model's seat
And I painted her sitting there.
I hid all trace of her heart unclean;
I painted a babe at her breast;
I painted her as she might have been
If the Worst had been the Best.
She laughed at my picture and went away.
Then came, with a knowing nod,
A connoisseur, and I heard him say;
"'Tis Mary, the Mother of God."
So I painted a halo round her hair,
And I sold her and took my fee,
And she hangs in the church of Saint Hillaire,
Where you and all may see.

Another Good Reason
(harley allen/carson chamberlain)
I woke up the other night
Lying on the floor
Right beside someone
Ive never seen before
She said my names juliet
And romeo you aint
Thats another good reason not to drink
Thats another good reason not to drink
When Im sober Im almost a saint
If I keep going on like this
Ill end up like ole hank
Thats another good reason not to drink
I cant go see my best friend
He said stay away
Just because of what I said
On his wedding day
He oughta call a sherman
Cause she looks just like a tank
Thats another good reason not to drink
Thats another good reason not to drink
When Im sober Im almost a saint
If I keep going on like this
Ill end up like ole hank
Thats another good reason not to drink
Im gonna sue to city
About that policeman
Last night as I left the bar
He stepped right on my hand
He said are you drunk or blind?
I said let me think.
Thats another good reason not to drink
Thats another good reason not to drink
When Im sober Im almost a saint
If I keep going on like this
Ill end up like ole hank
Thats another good reason not to drink
Thats another good reason not to drink
When Im sober Im almost a saint
If I keep going on like this
Ill end up like ole hank
Thats another good reason
Baby let me in Im freezing
Another good reason not to drink

This is what summer means to me
A warm summer day
without a cloud in sight
A baby bird
Taking its first flight
This is what summer means to me
Trees full of leaves
Giving me shade
My dad and I
Fishing in the glade
This is what summer means to me
Watching my daughter
Play on her slide
And how She will never
Want to come inside
This is what summer means to me
See how she enjoys the day
Until the very last
Just like me as a child
Long ago in the past
This is what summer means to me
The distant roar
Of a neighbors lawn mower
Unruly grass be gone
For ever more
This is what summer means to me
The smell of charcoal
And good friends all around
Birds singing in the trees
What a lovely sound
This is what summer means to me

One Good Reason
I stand on my ground when we fight
No matter where we are
I am the sad clown with tear eyes
So happy on your own
We get some strange looks when we shout
Clowning at the bar
It seems that Ive hoped
Now I found a match from my own heart
Just give me one good reason baby
One good reason now
One good reason, I should
I should hang around
I often wonder how we look
In other peoples eyes
Wild lovers, explosive
And right above these eyes
She stands on her own ground when we kiss
Poisoning my mind
I bet that I found my match
To strike it up tonight
Just give me one good reason baby
One good reason now
One good reason, I should
I should hang around
One good reason baby
One good reason now
One good reason, I should
I should hang around
I should hang around
(One good reason)
