Their Brains in the Bottom Drawer
With some people, the more power they receive,
and the bigger boots they get,
they file away their brains in the bottom drawer.
Their brains end up where there ass should be,
and their ass where their brains should be.
This leaves everyone to wonder,
did they get a degree in stupidity.
We meet them all the time,
and we all know the old saying,
a little power goes to their head.
How many times
have we heard that said?
Little people with big notions,
well beyond their station.
Some people are born to be leaders,
some others are the righter of wrongs.
Some think they know it all,
but most of them are dumb.
They abuse the power they have acquired
in a most idiotic way,
so in the bottom drawer their brains are bound to stay.

Did It Again
Written: kylie minogue/ steve anderson/ david seaman
Clever girl
Think you are but you think too much
Shut down turn around
Dont look that way any more
Clever girl
Think you know but you dont know much
Try to make a move
Go to a different door
You know its all in your head
You better put that business to bed
By your fair hands of design you met with
The monster in your mind
You did it again
You did it again
Wont you listen to me when Im telling you its no good for you
Clever girl
Think youre right
But whats right from wrong?
Little miss genius
You make it hard on yourself
Clever girl
Youve got it all but youre all messed up
Time now turn around
Move onto something else
You know its all in your head
Youd better put that business to bed
What you see nobody sees
It only brings you to your knees
Clever girl
Think youre right
But whats right from wrong?
Little miss genius
You make it hard on yourself

Clever father, clever daughter; clever mother, clever son.
In isolation
You lose your friend with whom you are clever.
They may not be clever enough to match.
They'd be clever enough to deduct you.
You will then end up in isolation.

Neath To Under
My circumference is death, my faith is my punishment, i have to walk alive - I render my back to the knife - I salute the soldiers lost to the dead, i break the crust, butter my blade, i do not dread - The judge have been juried, i can never move a note to be purer - I clever for you to understand, the gun in my hand, only triggers on this land - My brains will portray the painting on the wall, my mouth will myth the explosion to the call - The bones which bonds my brains to my skull, will carpet the fall with a dull - The sound to thunder, the clouds will tear, the rain will pain the neath to under

What is that?
That is what
Why's it rye?
That is why
How was Dow?
That was how
When was ten?
That was when
You'd do that?
No, you'd do that!
You'd clear that?
No, you'd clear that!
You are smart
Yes, I'm smart
You are clever
Yes, I'm clever
You know what?
What to know?
I know that
So you know?
Am I smart?
No, you're not
Am I clever?
No, not ever
If you're smart
You don't bark
If you're clever
you don't hire

Opportunities
I've got the brains, you've got the looks
Let's make lots of money
You've got the brawn, i've got the brains
Let's make lots of -
I've had enough of scheming and messing around with jerks
My car is parked outside, i'm afraid it doesn't work
I'm looking for a partner, someone who gets things fixed
Ask yourself this question: do you want to be rich?
I've got the brains, you've got the looks
Let's make lots of money
You've got the brawn, i've got the brains
Let's make lots of money
You can tell i'm educated, i studied at the sorbonne
Doctored in mathematics, i could have been a don
I can program a computer, choose the perfect time
If you've got the inclination, i have got the crime
Oh, there's a lot of opportunities
If you know when to take them, you know?
There's a lot of opportunities
If there aren't, you can make them
Make or break them
I've got the brains, you've got the looks
Let's make lots of money
Let's make lots of -
(aahhhhh) money
(aahhhhh)
(aahhhhh - di du da di da bu di ba)
You can see i'm single-minded, i know what i could be
How'd you feel about it, come and take a walk with me?
I'm looking for a partner, regardless of expense
Think about it seriously, you know, it makes sense
Let's (got the brains)
Make (got the looks)
Let's make lots of money (oohh money)
(let's) you've got the brawn
(make) i've got the brains
Let's make lots of money (oohh money)
I've got the brains (got the brains)
You've got the looks (got the looks)
Let's make lots of money (oohh money)

Cute Without The E (Live ThisIsNotEmo.com)
your lipstick, his collar.. dont bother angel
i know exactly what goes on
when everything you'll get is
everything that you've wanted, princess
(well which would you prefer?)
my finger on the trigger, or..
(me face down, down across your floor)
me face down, down across your floor
(me face down, down across your floor)
well just so long as this thing's loaded
and will you tell all your friends
you've got your gun to my head
this thought was only wishful thinkin,
this thought was only wishful thinkin
and will you tell all your friends
this thought was only wishful thinkin,
this thought was only wishful thinkin
let's go...
don't bother trying to explain angel
i know exactly what goes on when you're on and
how about i'm outside of your window
(how about i'm outside of your window)
watchin him keep the details covered
you're such a sucker
(you're such a sucker)
for a sweet talker, yeah
and will you tell all your friends
you've got your gun to my head
This thought was only wishful thinkin,
this thought was only wishful thinkin
(the only thing I regret is that I, I never let you hold me back)
and will you tell all your friends
you've got your gun to my head
this all was only wishful thinkin,
this all was only wishful thinkin
Hoping for the best just hoping nothing happens
a thousand clever lines unread on clever napkins
i will never ask if you don't ever tell me
i know you well enough to know you'll never loved me
Hoping for the best just hoping nothing happens
a thousand clever lines unread on clever napkins
i will never ask if you don't ever tell me
i know you well enough to know

Putting computers in their place
The age of computers and clever machines
Came from the minds of the human supremes
They thought it would ease
and relieve human plight
But the truth is it doesn't with thoughtful hindsight
They may do things quicker and save lots of space
No need for CD rack or even book case
I connect with the world just by moving my thumb
And check if tomorrow we'll get rain or sun
It's all very clever but here is the catch
What technology churns out a human can't match
So supreme own the world as all power they rob
And more and more people are losing their job
But poems and music and dance and great art
Set the machines and us quite far apart
From our brains come a wonder, it's what makes us great
The expression of art forms, desire to create
A computer falls flat on its binary face
In this one respect, we put them in their place!

Why can't I feel anything
from anyone other than you?
Why can't I feel anything
from anyone other than you?
And all of this was all your fault
And all of this
(I stay jealous)
I stay wrecked and jealous for this,
for this simple reason
I just need to keep you in mind
as something larger than life
(she'll destroy us all before she's through
and find a way to blame somebody else)
I stay wrecked and jealous for this,
for this simple reason
I just need to keep you in mind

Heart Cooks Brain
Slow walk
Its land mine
Its coal mine
Its a bad thought
On the way to God dont know
My brains the burger and my hearts the coal
Im trying to get my head clear
I push things out through my mouth I get refilled through my ears
Im on my way to God dont know or even care
My brains the weak heart, and my hearts the long stairs
Inland from vancouver shore
The ravens and the seagulls push each other inward and outward
Inward and outward
In this place that I call home
My brains the cliff, and my hearts the bitter buffalo
My hearts the bitter buffalo
We tore one down, and erected another there
The match of the century: absence versus thin air
On the way to God dont know
My brains the burger and my hearts the coal
On this life that we call home
The years go fast and the days go so slow

An Egghead...
i remember an egghead,
his head feels so light
like silk handkerchief inside your hand,
you do not pay particular attention to its color
i know,
you have no time for an egghead,
but i always remember him and you are angry
why i remember him and i am your favorite brother
who rose to the skies
more of a kite on a windy summer
and you do not like me to
sympathize with an egghead,
you see, you cannot blame me brother
i am traumatized
he broke his head in front of me
and you left him spilling his gray brains on the street
amidst those indifferent people
who merely pass by
as though no one died that early morning
you are one of them
with coat and tie
and who do not care if
others die,
if you call me another egghead
i may by now, be a little dignified
but i promise you
there will be no more brains spilled on this angry street

Ed Is Dead
Her head is in a bitter way
Her brains on fire
Shes just looking for the perfect wave
Its her brains desire
Ill think of her when I walk the strand
On this true hormos a night
Ed is dead (4x)
Shes just rotting in stupid bliss
With music on her bars uh
Her face burning in the l.a. sun
She got no got no fear of cars
I better kick my strand cruiser
To the friendlier oh oh oh oh oh oh
Ed is dead (4x)
Ed is dead
Ed is, yeah ed is
Ed is dead (3x)

Doctor's Liking
I suppose the question he asked
Gave me a liking for him
As my doctoring resents anything
Like disease
And the falling into sin is itself
The clever disaster
That we imagine
Has arisen
Now.
I philosophically justify
The belief in my heart
And head.
The wishes describe a blessing
But he needs to heal
The wounds of his mind
And body.
Clever and intelligent
And old a regime
Of understanding
Best explains the future
And virtuosity
Of our system of thought.
Must we?
"Let the leg go! " he said.
I can not figure out
A solution to this problem.

The Knowledgeable One
They are not the brightest for to give them their due
And on his subject matter they did not have a clue
He seems a bit clever the older bloke said
To which his younger mate answered not right in the head.
Since he did seem a clever young person to me
With the older bloke's assumption I could only agree
And though I too not the brightest I was duly impressed
With one in his mid twenties who with knowledge is blessed.
The bloke in his thirties to the barmaid for another beer did call
With the knowledgeable one he did not seem impressed at all
And when the knowledgeable one had left the pub he turned to me to say
This bloke Socrates he was talking of who is he anyway?
His name is a name that I cannot recall
He cannot be famous he does not play football
I informed him the one of whom the clever one did speak
Is a long dead philosopher a legendary Greek.
He and his mate in his forties began to discuss Sunday's big game
Every player taking part they know them by name
Of football between them little they would not have known
Suppose like it is said of people to each their own.

Words are like the spider's web: a shelter for the clever ones and a trap for the not-so-clever.
It takes a clever man to turn cynic and a wise man to be clever enough not to.
