Condition Critical
Oh the tension's mounting
The pressure starts to show
All the men in haunting
Please don't let me go
(Don't go)
Try to free my body
(Don't go)
Try to strap me down
(Don't go)
These'll never break me
(Don't go)
Free wheel to look at me
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical
The bells they are ringing
Or is it in my head
My nerves numb understanding
I'm falling out of bed
(Don't go)
So call it paranoia
(Don't go)
I don't see it that way
(Let's go)
You say I adore ya
(Hell no)
We're gonna rock they way
Condition critical
I'm feeling physical
Condition critical
Now I'm really cynical
Ooh ooh
Whips and chains
Don't feel no pain
What's so wrong
I think I'm going out of my head
Over heels
I can't feel
No pain, only pleasure
Get me out
Take me home
Can't you see my condition
Woo-woo-woo

The man whose action habitually bears the stamp of his mind is a genius, but the greatest genius is not always equal to himself, or he would cease to be human.

No society has been able to abolish human sadness, no political system can deliver us from the pain of living, from our fear of death, our thirst for the absolute. It is the human condition that directs the social condition, not vice versa.

Just Dropped In
To see what condition my condition was in)
(mickey newbury)
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I woke up this mornin with the sundown shinin in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag within
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin out as I was a-crawlin in
I got up so tight I couldnt unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)
Someone painted april fool in big black letters on a dead end sign
I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind
Eight miles outta memphis and I got no spare
Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Yeah yeah oh-yeah

The writers are writing human beings, and they're writing about the human condition and how difficult it is to function in that condition. I think it's one of the charms of the show, the idea of redemption and working towards becoming better people, for everybody involved.

Sonnet: Postal Stamp History
Sonnet: Postal Stamp History
The postal stamp started in England (1840)
And was destined to spread around the world.
It would soon reach as far as Brazil,
As the momentum continued to swirl.
It reached the United States of America
In the year of eighteen-forty five.
And a winner throughout the centuries
The postal stamp is very much alive.
The price of the first stamp was one cent.
But today, it would cost forty-four
And with so many rate hikes in between,
I am very sure that there will be more.
And as long as there is mail to send,
The postal stamp will never come to end.

The faculty of imagination is the great spring of human activity, and the principle source of human improvement. As it delights in presenting to the mind scenes and characters more perfect than those which we are acquainted with, it prevents us from ever being completely satisfied without present condition, or with our past attainments, and engages us continually in the pursuit of some untried enjoyment, or of some ideal excellence. Destroy this faculty, and the condition of man will become as stationary as that of the brutes.

Poem To A Dying Man
I see you in the synagogue almost each night now-
I have seen so many in the condition you are in now-
The frailty, the thinness, the cough,
The intense concentration required to do the smallest thing,
The great difficulty in small motion-
Like most of them you are a good man
Worked hard all your life
Raised a family
Knew dislocation and suffering
Struggled for survival
Made a new life after the old world collapsed-
A good man-
I see you now
My heart goes out to you-
It’s the human condition after all
Living and dying-
And who am I to do anything about it?
I exchange a few words with you
To not leave you alone with the night
We go our separate ways -
My heart goes out to you
But what am I to do?
This is the human condition
And will happen in one way or other
To all of us-
I hate it-
I hate to see your suffering
But this is what we are
And I can do nothing about it.
A few words in the night
And then gone.

Save The Polar Bears
Ice caps melting every day
we need to help Polar Bears
We need to Save…
Save Polar Bears by helping
putting them in a better place
Even zoos to save their fate.
Russia also is a good place…
Save the Polar Bears for
we the 'human race'
are the one's responsible for their fate.
Prayer for the Polar bears before it's too late-
See them being able to migrate.

Drunk On Grieving
we get so drunk
in our own personal grieving:
lost loves, lost family members,
lost jobs, lost houses, lost dreams....
we forget thet grieving
is a part of the human condition....
and most important, we
are a part of the human condition!
that which hurts one hurts all.
healing is a joint endeavor!

As I was walking
As I was walking,
Thyme sweet to my nose,
Green grasshoppers talking,
Rose rivalling rose:
And wing, like amber,
Dispread in light,
As from bush to bush
Linnet took flight:
Master Rabbit I saw
In the shadow-rimmed mouth
Of his sandy cavern,
Looking out to the South.
'Twas dew-tide coming;
The turf was sweet
To nostril, curved tooth,
And wool-soft feet.
Sun was in West;
Crystal in beam
Of its golden shower
Did his round eye gleam.
Lank human was I,
And a foe, poor soul—
Snowy flit of a scut,
He was into his hole,
And—stamp, stamp, stamp!
Through dim labyrinths clear,
The whole world darkened,
A murderer near.

My horizon on humanity is enlarged by reading the writers of poems, seeing a painting, listening to some music, some opera, which has nothing at all to do with a volatile human condition or struggle or whatever. It enriches me as a human being.

The Thoughts Unsaid (A screamo song)
You don't have to say it it's already a scar
You don't have to hear in your mind or your soul
Because these are: THESE ARE
The thoughts unsaid
The thoughts in all our
The thoughts that are (high voice)
In our head in our head!
This is the global addiction
This is the human condition
This is the global addiction
This is the human condition
Chorus
Give me the rush, make me feel alive
Gimme the rush, make me feel alive
Gimme the rush as I slowly die
Deaden my pain
Drum solo (3 seconds)
Deaden my pain
Drums + Electric guitar (3 seconds different)
Deaden my pain... With a greater pain!
Heal my heart with a bigger scar
Cause I like the way it hurts, (shouting) IT'S HOW WE ALL ARE
This is the global addiction x 2
This is the human condition x 2
Cause our actions prove our real thoughts, THE THOUGHTS UNSAID
Repeat chorus
(We don't want a cure
We don't want to be pure) x3
Shouting: We need a savior but we forsook Him (in one word increments)

Im In No Condition
Dont look at me with love in your eyes
Go look at somebody that can make it worthwhile
Im hurt from a love affair I didnt want in
Im in no condition to try to love again
Dont smile at me because its no use
cause I dont have a smile that I can give to you
Someday, you might look me up, but let me be till then
For Im in no condition to try to love again
Im in no condition to try to love again
Man I love just broke my heart
And it must have time to mend
He have me the breeze
Now hes gone with the wind
Im in no condition to try to love again
Im in no condition to try to love again
Man I love just broke my heart
And it must have time to mend
He have me the breeze
Now hes gone with the wind
Im in no condition to try to love again
No, Im in no condition to try to love again

Untrammeled
Human dreams,
like the stars
in a dark sky,
hang there burning...
beyond reach.
Perhaps, already long gone.
We are want to ask of life,
Why?
But life does not answer.
Perhaps, it has no ears;
or no voice.
Perhaps, we are the
voice.
Perhaps, we
are not listening.
Tis the one true condition;
to be human is to understand,
not everything is obtainable...
Alone.
This may just be the only thing
that surprises God.
To be human,
is to fail... often.
Which ofcourse means,
that we keep trying.
One wonders...
Why?
