I think we're at a time in American history that's probably analogous to, maybe, Rome before the first emperors, when the Republic started to fall … I think if you look at the pattern of events, if you look at the disputed election of 2000, can you imagine? In America, people are trying to recount ballots and a partisan mob is pounding on the glass and threatening the counters? Can you imagine that? Can you imagine a political party which does its best to keep any representatives from another party — who've even been affiliated with another party — from getting a business job in the nation's capital? They were married in the old church yard
and they promised to be true to each other
no matter how hard their lives might be
but like meteors that fell through moments parallel
they were soon to cross and on different plots of earth
they both did fall
Though their lives had really not been hard at all

The Lust We Fought For
The lust we fought for in now just a pile of ash.
The lust we fought for was a lie to it's very last.
The lust we fought for burns in my memory every night.
The kust we fought for wasn't worth it's own right.
The lust we fought for seemed so out of control.
The lust we fought for only needed us to grab ahold.
So the lust we fought for wasn't lust at all.
Indeed it was love that made our great fall.
The lust we fought for keeps me crying at night.
The lust we fought for has me praying to turn it right.
The lust we fought for makes me miss you more.
The lust we fought for broke my heart to it's core.

How Gone Tomorrow!
How tomorrow is gone?
It is yet not done
It de dejected and pure pessimism
Even shame to humanism
If there is no light in life today
It can be fought for and made another day
Water can be taken out from hard stone
