It was very difficult to startle or surprise someone with a particular sound during the family computer era.

Computer Age
Cars and trucks
Fly by me on the corner
But Im all right
Standin proud before the signal
When I see the light
I know Im more than just a number.
And I stand before you
Or else we just dont see the other
Computer age computer age
Computer age.
Bikes and vans
Fly by me on the desert
But Im all right
Standing out here in the hot sun
When I see the light
I feel like more than just a number
And I stand before you
Or else we just dont see the other
Computer age computer age
Computer age.
Precious metal lines
Molded into highways
Running through me
So microscopically
Days and nights
Weeks and months and seasons
Rolling through me
So chronologically.
Computer age computer age
Computer age.
I need you
To let me know that theres a heartbeat
Let it pound and pound
And Ill be flying like a free bird
And you need me
Like ugly needs a mirror
And day by day
This horizons getting clearer
Computer age computer age
Computer age.

The One
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Heard you had a story to tell
Sold your soul in a kiss and tell
Sliding down on a helter skelter ride
Into yesterday
No way out, the price of fame
Once its told will you be the same
Rolling down on a roller coaster ride
Well be waiting for you
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Shock the world with your fall from grace
Glory days gone without a trace
No surprise youre a face without a name
But we all still love you
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Its time to tell you
Were faithful and true
Take us back to the days
When we could dream
cos it makes us happy
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise

Hey that you wanna be the one

2 Timothy 1: 7
What I have
I Love my Family 'I have a sound mind'
I Like Luciano Pavarotti
even though.I don't speak a word of italian 'I have a sound mind'
I love my family even though none of us had a choice in the picking :)
I Love my church family............ 'I have a sound mind'
I like the motto of the church on 1212 Hendrick called Faith Fellowship Baptist
Church.
'if the bible says, we believe it'
I Love Jesus, my family, friends and I have a sound mind.
I know God has wonderful things in store for me from this time forward!

My Computer
"what?" they say, "you got a
computer?"
it's like I have sold out to
the enemy.
I had no idea so many
people were prejudiced
against
computers.
even two editors have
written me letters about
the computer.
one disparaged the
computer in a mild and
superior way.
the other seemed
genuinely
pissed.
I am aware that a
computer can't create
a poem.
but neither can a
typewriter.
yet, still, once or
twice a week
I hear:
"what?
you have a
computer?
you?"
yes, I do
and I sit up here
almost every
night,
sometimes with
beer or
wine,
sometimes
without
and I work the
computer.
the damn thing
even corrects
my spelling.
and the poems
come flying
out,
better than
ever.
I have no
idea what causes
all this
computer
prejudice.
me?
I want to go
the next step
beyond the
computer.
I'm sure it's
there.
and when I get
it,
they'll say,
"hey, you hear,
Chinaski got a
space-biter!"
"what? "
"yes, it's true!"
"I can't believe
it!"
and I'll also have
some beer or
some wine
or maybe nothing
at all
and I'll be
85 years old
driving it home
to
you and me
and to the little girl
who lost her
sheep.
or her
computer.

What Is Family?
A family is love
That puts itself above
Everything else in this world.
A family is trust
That's fair and just
In its treatment of each other.
A family is pride
And will never hide
Its feelings for one another.
A family is dear
And won't disappear
When things are getting tough.
A family is hope
That learns to cope
With all that comes their way.
A family is sound
With their feet on the ground
On every brand new day.
A family is kind
And will always find
The time to be together.
A family is wise
And treasures its ties
For always and forever.

Computer and Man
I am great
All men I educate
I am capable
I am Irresistible,
I have a lot of memory
I answer every query
I have loads of power
Around me mankind hover
I solve problems arithmetical
I carry out operations logical
I am very intelligent
From men I'm different
I am a titan
I am super human
Can you guess
Who I am?
Yes! I am the COMPUTER.
The computer, itself thus prides
And on a high horse it rides.
It cannot comprehend
That man has been his friend
And that he had been behind
The work computer had stream-lined
To execute the multitude of commands
Which man had given for his demands.
Man is equal to the computer
When he speculates he is the man of matter.
As is the computer in man's hands
Is he not the man in God's hands?

What's so difficult...
What's so difficult,
About the word,
No.
What's so difficult,
About our,
Relationship.
What's so difficult,
About,
Us.
What's so difficult,
About the words,
Stay away.
What's so difficult,
About,
Don't talk to me.
What's so difficult...

Computer Cowboy
Well, his cattle each have numbers
And they all eat in a line
When he turns the floodlights on each night
Of course the herd looks perfect!
Computer cowboy.
Well, he rides the range 'til midnight
And the wild coyotes yowl
As he trots beneath the floodlights
And of course the rhythm is perfect!
Computer cowboy.
Ride along computer cowboy
To the city just in time
To bring another system down
And leave your alias behind:
Computer syscrusher.
Computer syscrusher.
Crusher. syscrusher.

Come a ky ky yippee yi ay.

My computer
Here is my dearest friend computer.
It is much more cuter than anybody else.
And... it is certainly my best tutor.
I sometimes feel nervous or sad
And it is always neutor, my computer.
But sometimes it behaves like an executer
Showing the things I don't like
Thinking I am just a looker.
It keeps mute as a fish, my computer.
But puts me sometimes into a fluter.
Oh, my dearest computer!
It is such a cure and even rude.
And behaves like a lure.
It can be ruder than anything else
Then I am in a stupor.
But...it is still my super.
It is my best curator.
It gives me a cue or something new.
The rest about it I'll tell you later.

You Don't Take Things For Granted, Others Do
you dont take things for granted

-Melc
Im back
to my life
the one i
left
This boring life
it makes me
feel..
To think that
that girl
cried cause she
was sad
because of
the attention
she lacked
and here i am
crying
because a family
not of my own
is so far away
so far for me
to lean on
to say things
aren't okay
i miss the house
not of my own
the family there
that thought
themselves wierd
if wierd is
what you call it
then take me into it
i dont care if
im looked down upon
because i wish i had
a family like hers
but this computer
and room
is now all that i own
with my family located
on my AIM list
I feel lonely
again
Because thats
the sort of
loser
that I am
I found my first novel difficult. I don't want to make it sound like it's any more difficult than driving a cab or going to any other job, but there are so many opportunities for self-doubt, that you just kind of need to soldier on.

Sister's' For Life
No pain is harder
Then you not being here
If I had it my way
I would of went with you
Because nothing makes me happier then you
Even when we argued it was never serious
I could never ever hurt you
I dare someone to hurt you
I would go to jail for you
I would do anything for you
I went from seeing you everyday
To conversating over the phone or computer with you
It's not the same with you not here
But as long as your safe and happy
Then I'll be just fine
My friendship with you
Wait screw it I look at you like a sister
Your family to me
Your family even treats me like family
I hope you understand
That I will always be here for you
No matter what happens
Know one could ever replace you
I would never let anyone replace you
My friendship with you is thicker then blood

The Family
There is a happy sleep where you descend,
Into the property of your family, like them.
Your guardians are of the seasons,
Changing like machinery, like the computer.
Synopses are written of the partnerships,
The very way a doll is dressed by a girl.
The reasons for living are greater than normal,
For who are you to readdress this vital condition
Called the Family.

Man Or Machine
Auto, bus, walking and sweating dermis,
somehow on time I reach my office.
work needs to be finished on time so I sit infront of computer.
breakfast time, toast, butter and tea glass,
hurriedly I eat, unaware it may appear boorish and crass.
work needs to be finished on time so I sit infront of computer.
lunch time, dosa containing rice, dal and yeast,
the way I eat can put to shame any wild beast.
work needs to be finished on time so I sit infront of computer.
till evening, I am tired, drowsy and dozy
but I skip the plan to go outside to have some tea.
work needs to be finished on time so I sit infront of computer.
My head aches, my eye burns
but I continue work amidst yawns.
work needs to be finished on time so I sit infront of computer.
Just before logout, I work with great pace,
with time I contest, compete and race.
work needs to be finished on time so a computer sits infront of computer.
