Now, there are sometimes making a connection between one section and another that sometimes you do want to see the pattern because it helps you to lead into the next thing - it's a rhetorical thing, where you just see how the pattern has to go into the next thing.

When I Want To See Beauty
When I want to see beauty I need not travel far
Not even for a short drive in a car
Outside my window on flowering callistemon tree
A natural thing of beauty there to see.
The new holland honeyeater in his dark and gold
A bird of beauty lovely to behold
He chirrups loud amongst the leafy bowers
And take his fill of nectar from the flowers.
When I want beauty all I have to do
Is walk near my home down shady avenue
Where white backed magpie on the tall gum sing
In Nature beauty is a natural thing.
For beauty money I don't have to pay
Or purchase flight ticket to far away
At night I see it in the starry sky
A thing of beauty is a thing of joy.
And the finest of beauty you don't pay to see
Like a red rosella on a sunlit tree
In Nature's garden living wild and free
And you won't see any prettier than he.

Whistling In The Dark
A woman came up to me and said
Id like to poison your mind
With wrong ideas that appeal to you
Though I am not unkind
She looked at me, I looked at something
Written across her scalp
And these are the words that it faintly said
As I tried to call for help:
Theres only one thing that I know how to do well
And Ive often been told that you only can do
What you know how to do well
And thats be you,
Be what youre like,
Be like yourself,
And so Im having a wonderful time
But Id rather be whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Theres only one thing that I like
And that is whistling in the dark
A man came up to me and said
Id like to change your mind
By hitting it with a rock, he said,
Though I am not unkind.
We laughed at his little joke
And then I happily walked away
And hit my head on the wall of the jail
Where the two of us live today.
Theres only one thing that I know how to do well
And Ive often been told that you only can do
What you know how to do well
And thats be you,
Be what youre like,
Be like yourself,
And so Im having a wonderful time
But Id rather be whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark
Whistling in the dark

The Last Thing You Said
So may people have heard me cry
Since that terrible day when you said goodbye
So many dark corners have heard me say
How the light has gone out since you went away
Everyones heard of how you left me again
Everyones heard about my so-called friend
They tell me Im a fool, but I dont hear a word
cause the last thing you said was the last thing I heard
How many times Ive tried to talk to my heart
But it wont even listen since you tore it apart
I have to tell myself theres only one thing to do
Try and find someone else and forget about you
I know she doesnt mean a thing in the world
I waste my hours with another girl
She says she loves me so but I dont hear a word
cause the last thing you said was the last thing I heard

Do You Feel It Too?
Im like a toy balloon
And someone cruel has cut the string
Im drifting out of sight
My heads too light to find a thing
Oh baby, life is like a cartoon movie
Being with you makes it groovy
Everything you do is new to me
And do you feel it too?
Do you find another joy in every little thing you do?
Oh do you feel it too, do you find the only thing
That matters now is me and you?
I cant believe my ears
You know I hear such crazy sounds
Each time I talk to you
And walk with you Im off the ground
Oh baby, love is great, you just cant top it
Got the ball we mustnt drop it
Girl there aint a thing can stop it now
And do you feel it too?
Do you find another joy in every little thing you do?
Oh do you feel it too, do you find the only thing
That matters now is me and you?
Tell me baby
Oh baby, life is like a cartoon movie
Being with you makes it groovy
Everything you do is new to me
And do you feel it too?
Do you find another joy in every little thing you do?
Oh do you feel it too, do you find the only thing
That matters now is me and you?

Life Lesson
Listen to all
Listen to none
But remember this thing
You are the one who realize
Learn everything
Learn nothing
But remember this thing
You are the one who understand
Go everywhere
Go nowhere
But remember this thing
You are the one who search
Believe the hard one
Believe the easy one
But remember this thing
You are the one who follow
Think the worst
Think the finest
But remember this thing
You are the one who decide
Read what’s written
Read what’s hidden
But remember this thing
You are the one who feel
See the dark
See the light
But remember this thing
You are the one who watch
Dream the ordinary
Dream the impossible
But remember this thing
You are the one who hope
Try the best
Try the rest
But remember this thing
You are the one who fight
Say it straight
Say it carefully
But remember this thing
You are the one who mean it
Love you care
Love you don’t
But remember this thing
You are the one who give
Live the truth
Live the lie
But remember this thing
You are the one who grow
Do what you desire
Do what’s been ordered
But remember this thing
You are the one who responsible
Touch it rough
Touch it smooth
But remember this thing
You are the one who keep

Dark Light
Look out, cause theres something wrong
And you dont know what it is
Watch out, or its sodom and gommorah
The malevolent order
Right now, before its much too late
Before its much too late
A dark light---a darkness never ending
A dark light---the devil gets his due
A dark night---is everywhere descending
A dark light---is coming for you
Now look up, well the skies are black
And theyre getting darker all the time
Watch out, for the things that you believe in
Youre gonna be attacked,
And you wont know what it is
Wise up, you better watch your step
You better watch your step
A dark light---a darkness never ending
A dark light---of perversion and hate
A dark night---is everywhere descending
A dark light---theres no time to wait
Look out, for the death of love
There will be no more love
Watch out, its yourself that you are fooling
Who do you think youre fooling
Shout it out, its a terrible thing
Such a terrible thing
A dark light---a darkness never ending
A dark light---the sun is turning cool
A dark night---is everywhere descending
A dark light---is shining at you
Dark light, dark light
Is shining at you, dark light

Nightwatch
In the night, when a mist of sleep surrounds me
You come to me and hold me tight, winding your body all around me
And everywhere you touch I feel, that my love for you is much too real
Oh, its the same damn thing, wanting you in my dreams
Its the same damn thing, wanting you in my dreams
Sleepwalkin - I know every move you make, and every word I say
Keep it comin, comin - comin on stronger, this time Im going all the way
Is this moment just a fantasy, or a vision of what will be
Oh, its the same damn thing, wanting you in my dreams
Every night the same thing, wanting you in my dreams
(dreams fade away)
I better find you in my days, or Im losin you to the nights
Its the same thing - every night
Its the same thing - oh, youre so right
Its the same thing - wanting you
(instrumental break)
And tonight, evenings shadows are sure to find me
On my nightwatch, waiting for the warmth of you beside me
And every second that youre here I feel, this dream is real
And its the same damn thing, its the same thing
Its the same damn thing, wanting you in my dreams, dreams

As Night Descends
The night descends,
The light mixing dark, together they blend,
Shadows pounce upon the light,
Forever turning daylight, into night.
Shadows toy and play,
They own the night... Now they shall seize the day,
They sit upon the earth, and watch light decay,
Illuminated light fragments,
like dust they float, Then fall away,
I shall sit with these shadows,
and enjoy corrupt fun,
watch the light fall, as the shadows have won.
My family of shadows, humble yet dark,
always living in turmoil, killing the light, fading the last spark.
The light is no more, we've won....
these wrongs can never be undone.

A Thing Just A Thing
things only seem to be what they are
when they try so hard to convince
they ask the help of light to cast some shadows
and if they can only speak they will say:
'you see, i am true
i am real, i am casting a shadow'
in my doubt, i touch a thing in you
there is nothing there but only a thing
and i tell you
'you are only a thing with a shadow
i haven't touched a heart'
and then i hear the silence
and then there was calm and quiet

Heart of your Shadow
The Shadows are dark
Can you feel them?
The shadows are hidden
Where did they go?
Can you see it?
The light within the dark?
In hides in the shadows
That one flame
The flickering flame
In the dark
Our hearts
All have a flickering flame
Let that light shine
In the darkest depths
Fear fades with anger and hate
Because of that light
The light lies
In a dark place
Let it shine within
The heart of your shadow

Dark Shadows
The tourist! !
Dark shadows,
Winter,
Summer,
Go for the gold!
Of your seeds,
Of my seeds,
Steel,
Still,
Waits!
Sleeping beauty,
Unknown,
Phantom,
Atom,
Light,
Light,
Edition!
Dark shadows;
Chronicles,
Apollo,
To the hotel,
Ashen,
Of the descendants,
Ask,
Asterisk,
Like hell! !
Astute,
To the zoo;
Toy,
Green day!
Deluxe,
Rocky,
Stone,
Sour,
Soul,
Braced at last!
Of the contour,
To the mirror,
Of your story,
To the editor!
Sons of the morning,
Daughters of the evening,
Home of dark shadows!
Clint, flint;
Days later,
Weeks later,
With your muse,
Like Robin Hood!
But, without nightmare.

Stand In The Shadows
Hearts which beat to a precise beat
Fading shadows on the wall
We'll cut our cards
Drive out bars
All for one, one for all.
Like teenage heat
And carnival cheats
With your heart on your sleeve
Well you know you wanna run
You won't hide
And you jump like a son of a gun
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Oh alone and lonely
Watching people on my wall
Well mama and dadda thought they had me fooled
I was thinking not at all
Well i got out
Not gonna stand
In the dark without a light
Forgetting love if you believe that chance
Sit and wait
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
In the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
And now the judge is down feeling
All around yeah
Lifting to a blast this sound
No preachers, teachers
Pick our minds
To the sounds of false alarm
They're here today
And they hear you say
You're alive and you're living with me
So don't try to hide
And don't try to die
In the dark of the night
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows
In the shadows, in the shadows
Do not stand in the shadows

Shine Your Light
You've told me,
many times before,
that you prefer living,
in a world of darkness.
But tell me this,
when looking into darkness,
don't you see the smallest light,
in the distance?
Can't you see,
a little light,
that will shine through,
any darkness?
But yet you still say,
dark is better than light,
so are you saying that,
you too are a dark person?
No that can't be so,
when I think of you,
the last thing I'd think of,
would be dark.
You have so much light within,
but yet you've decided to live,
where no light can get in,
but is suffocated by dark.
You seem so strong inside,
but yet to everyone you hide,
except to me when you show me,
the real light within.
If you are full,
of such strong light,
then why do you tell everyone,
you love the darkness?

Im Free
I was stranded in the dark
Trying to find an open door
So alone
Chains were wrapped around my heart
Didnt know what love was for
No more
Heard these voices in my head
Telling me youll never escape
No you cant get away
When the spirit in me said
Your love could show me the way
My whole life changed on that day
Now Im walking in the light
All aglow
All I see is sunshine in my eyes
Skies of blue, its true
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free
Now when clouds surround me
They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free
From the time that I knew
That I could find love in you
My hearts been renewed
Now all my dreams are coming true
Im free
I was frightened in the cold
Desperate when you found me in time
You saved me from the world
Got my life back in control
Chased away the madness in my mind
You saved me right in time
Now my futures looking up
Skies of blue, all because of you
Got the sunshine in my life
All aglow, baby, dont you know
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free
Now when clouds surround me
They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free
From the time that I knew
That I could find love in you
My hearts been renewed
Now all my dreams are coming true
Im free
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free

They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free

I Like The Way
Somewhere inside my evolution
Karmically I seek retribution
Looking for love in physical beauty
Desire is the drug of the bourgeoisie
And now I try to intellectualize
Like a glimmer of good in a bad man's eyes
I am consumed by the flesh haunting me
I know temptation taunts the empty
So pour yourself over me
Until there's nothing left to see, yeah yeah
Because I like the way you move in the dark
I like the tension, the tension and the spark
The decadence of giving into desire
Creates such entropy within
Looking for love in spiritual faces
Blind to the art of fabrication
I'm like a baby sucking mama's milk
Want to drink my fill and then some
Leave me alone
I always thought I was better than this
But temptation tempts the temptee
Pour yourself over me
Until there's nothing left to see, yeah yeah
Oh, because I like the way you move in the dark
And I like the tension, the tension and the spark, oh
Because I like the way you move in the dark, oh
You know I like the tension, the tension and, the tension and the spark, oh
This physicality
Shifting me chemically
Such power over me
It's just desire
I know it's treachery (shifting me chemically)
I know it's just skin deep (such power over me)
I know I should resist
I'm just too tired
Too tired
There's just one thing missing
One thing missing here is
Love
I like the way you move in the dark
I like the tension, the tension and the spark (so pour yourself over me)
You know, I like the way you move in the dark (so pour yourself over me)
You know, I like the tension, the tension and, the tension and the spark
So pour yourself over me
(There's just one thing missing)
(One thing missing)
Until there's nothing left to see
(There's just one thing missing)
(The tension and the spark)
(One thing missing)
(So pour yourself over me)
There's just one thing missing
One thing missing
(So pour yourself over me)
(I like the tension, the tension and the spark)

My weakness
Dark, dark, dark
That what I see
And what I feel
Pain sorrow miserable
Are living in my heart
Everything around me
It so dark
Even though I try so hard
To find some light
But the only thing that appear
Is the lonely dark
I closed my eyes
And listen hardly
But the only thing
That I can hear
Is the silent of the death?
I open my mouth
Try to shout and scream
No voice is coming out
I’m so scared
And lonely
I feel so weak
My hand and legs
Start shaking
My tears fall down
I try to stop it
But it won’t stop
So I lay down
And cry like a baby
That lost from his mother
Wishing that some one
Will take my hand
And tell me it’s ok
You not alone
I’m with you
But that only a wish
It won’t come true
So I give up and closed my eyes
Waiting for my destiny
With my tears running in peace
