I am well aware that many will say that no one can possibly speak with spirits and angels so long as he lives in the body; and many will say that it is all fancy, others that I relate such things in order to gain credence, and others will make other objections.

Man was so created by the Lord as to be able while living in the body to speak with spirits and angels, as in fact was done in the most ancient times; for, being a spirit clothed with a body, he is one with them.

Watching, waiting
You know it shouldnt take this long
Leaning, forward
I know it couldnt possibly take much longer
I know the pain moves on
And I feel the same for the wrong
Angels, walking, floating on and on
Breathing, eloquent
I know it couldnt possibly wait much longer
Searching, so long
I know well find a way
Reaching all alone
I know they couldnt possibly hate much longer

Overnight Angels
(ian hunter)
In the heat of the indian summer
Out along the appalachian way
You can hear the sound of the overnight angels
As they pray
Charged by the light of some mariners lantern
Spitting out a cold but triangular spray
Cant you hear the screams of the overnight angels
As they play
Talking to the spirits through a silver curtain
Reaching out beyond the length of the light
You can catch a glimpse of an overnight angel
As he shines
Dancing through the toys of the dead and the living
Laughing at the poets changing their rhymes
Cant you feel the pulse of the overnight angels
Beating time
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels angels angels
Children of the junkies led the revolution
Push yourselves over get yourselves there
Someone throw their arms round the overnight angels
Cause they care
Angels dont need no phony religion
Throw them out along with the ethnic nowheres
They will never speak to the overnight angels
They can only stare
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels angels angels angels
Can you hear us can you hear us
Were talking bout the overnight angels

Tired Groove
I relate to your philosophies.
There is not need to rehash them.
Not with me.
I'd like to get beyond these acquisitions.
Renew our positions and sing new tunes.
With refreshed rhythms...
And adventures to meet and greet.
I relate to your philosophies.
We have been sharing them all our lives.
How many times do we have to identify,
The world is round.
Or another dissatisfaction with life we have found.
There is something about the unknown I appreciate.
That makes me more aware of who I am.
But to eat and regurgitate the same thing fed...
Does not expand my understanding.
Or qualifies me to make demands.
I relate to your philosophies.
But constantly repeating the same point of view...
Has become quite boring to me.
And I am surprised this stagnation,
Has not motivated you to improve...
Upon this tired groove you feed and approve.
If it puts me to sleep...
I know that drone brings a wink or two to you.
It has to!
Are you listening to me?
'I'm sorry...
Did you say something? '

A Unique Kind Of Drunkeness
the usual wine
the favorite rhum and the well sought vodka
or martini
scotch on the rocks or you common margarita
or bloody mary...
a glass, another glass, more glasses
an open mouth, more words, a flood of ideas that come when the
spirits stir you to more shores and islands..
you let go things and monsters and angels long stored in your
vocabulary, you're a book with some pages sticking
for you seldom open
only sometimes when things really get rough when the heart wants to speak
because it is too full and your mouth has nothing better to do except to speak,
then the many glasses take you to many places and you face many people
long dead and gone
and you speak to them without fears now
direct to the point
confrontational and you learn how is it to shout
less civil, bursting manners, regrets cracking out like fireworks
and then you mellow down
for this enlightening moment of
why, yes why did all those things happen to you?
some explanations
like how towel to your neck and face
a soft massage on your arms and back
a woman with a beautiful body and sealed mouth
gentle eyes and a certain
professional indifference
you refuse an offer for the night because you just want to go home
someone is waiting and you feel so guilty
it is late and you need nothing now but a good sleep
in the house.

Theory of Evolution in Islam
The holy Koran supports
Theory of evolution
But it opines that
God has created human at first
In a different way
Since humans are His best creation
The angels took mud from the earth
To God’s main court in paradise
Then God expanded His visible glow
So that the angels can see His body
And make a body like His body with it
But the angels were unable
To make the face
Because God’s body
Is the most beautiful thing
Consequently
God’s body made the face
Of Adam with His own hand
And gave finishing touch
Then he breathed into
Adam’s body a soul
And Adam became alive
Afterward
God created Eve
From a bone of Adam’s breast
By necessary genetic mutations.

What Do I Do
Heard you speak one time in an interview
Was the sweetest lil' thing I ever heard
(Sweetest lil' thing I heard)
My eyes going down on you like a parachute
I wanna creep wit' you and thats my word
(Creep wit' you and that's my word)
Now I been knowin, mommy, for a while now
(A long time)
And GOD know she's been good to me
(Real good, real good)
But uh, I can't help it when I see you smile
Some thing tells me what I'm doin to her
That you would do to me
So what do I do.........................
What do I do
What do I do
What do I do
Some body tell me what will I gain
What will I lose
What do I do
What do I do
What do I do
Somebody tell me what will I gain
What will I lose
Help me out
Now Proverbs 18 verse 22 says
Standin' by the wife defines a good thing
Lyin' by her side thinkin' of you
I got to get up, go to the toilet
Wash my face, and clear my head
I gotta take you to a broad way show
Cause I don't wanna go by self
I'm like a kid wit' two ice creams, baby
And I don't want either one to melt
Cause ever since I heard you speak in that interview
It is an awful feelin' if I hurt her
Then some day you gonna hurt me too
What do I do
What do I do
What do I do
Some body tell me
What will I gain
What will I lose
What do I do
What do I do
What do I do
Some body tell me
What will I gain
What will I lose
I heard that
What goes around
Comes back around
And you're gonna read what you saw
Then everyone knows

The Way I Love You
My love for you is fathomless,
My body can never possibly
hold
All of it I have for you,
It is wrong to even say that I
'have' it because
That is to imply it is finite-
Let me rephrase it, ' My body
can never possibly
hold all it I am having for
you.'
My body is too small to contain
it,
Some of it within me;
Escapes into the air of
This universe and that
is why other men also have the
ability to love.
When my soul is standing next
to my spirit,
The light they give out is the
love
We see in the world.
So tonight I will go back to the place
I have never been- transform my
strength
Into a rope and make a lasso
That I will use to capture your
heart.

Spirits?
Though I've never seen one exactly
I've encountered some evil presence
The very sense of it overwhelms me
But with God, Fear lurks in absence.
Spirits of dead are mere wanderers
Some are evil and utterly vicious
Some are more harmful than the others
And some possess humans for their use.
The spirits who protect us are angels
And the spirits who harm us are vile
Some in realms of government control
And some enthroned in fake piety's style.
Spirits of the dead they call 'ghosts'
They seem to avoid me and hide
They're the ones I would like to ask most
What they felt at the moment they died.
For you see, I am quite prepared
To meet that old man with the sickle
For Death is the one Jesus dared
Over which He proved He was able.
That Jesus Who now lives in me
Has power over all of these spirits
At the mention on His Name they flee
For they know there's just One Holy Spirit.

Body To Body
Body, body, bo-bo-bo-body, body
Body to body
Body to body
Body to body
Nobody does it like you do
Body to body
I love the way you make me feel
When you do what youre doing to me, oh
Touching me the way you do, you know, know youve got to feel it too
When you bodys next to mine, youve got me hypnotized
Body to body
Body to body
You know I like the way you do what you do when you do it to me, oh
Body to body
Nobody does it like you do
Body to body
You know I like what you do when you do what you do to me, no
Oh, what you do
Flowing through this magic night
I love to feel you hold me tight
You are the one thats right for me
You got me feeling tingaly
Share the night with stars above
I think Ive found this thing called love
Fever running through your eyes
You are my heavenly device
Body to body
Body to body
Body to body nobody does it like you do
Body to body
You know I like what you do when you do what you do to me, no
Oh, what you do
You opened up the world to me
You changed my life so tenderly
I know you are the only one
Youre brighter than the burning sun
Dont know where youre going to
I dont care as long as Im with you
That certain sparkle in your eyes
Has got me feeling oh so high
Body to body
Body to body
Body to body
Body to body
I like what you do when you do all those things to me
Body to body....

Murder
Murder
Coming to get us
Theyre coming to get us for the way we are
Murder
See it all around us
See it all around us for the way we are
Murder
Coming to get us
Theyre coming to get us for the way we are
The way we hide
Tie me to a tree
Tie my hands above my head
Sing a song to me
Sing a song like what you said
Ohhhhh... (murder)
Ohhhhh... (murder)
Cause theyre gonna murder me
Theyre gonna drag me down
Even before I sleep
I cry murder
Come spit at us
Come and throw your weight around
Come and fight with us
Try and knock us to the ground
Cause theyre gonna murder me
Theyre gonna drag me down
Even before I sleep
I cry murder
Murder...
Oh now what can it possibly gain
Oh what could it possibly gain
Oh what could it possibly gain
And what could it possibly gain...
(Cry murder, murder, I cry murder)
Murder
Coming to get us
Theyre coming to get us for the way we are
Murder
See it all around us
See it all around us for the way we are

In The Dark
Make me fumble
Make me fall
Make my heart stop and start
To tremble uncontrollably
Let my eyes see fear make desire
Keep those who long apart
Forbid the kiss
And leave us innocent
Of the things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
Make me remember
Make me forget
Make my mind unable
To force the body to do its will
Let it be right for belief and denial
To share a space in the heart and leave us only to imagine
About the things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
Make me pretend
Make me expect
Things can go and come to pass
Without trial or tribulation
Let this life space and time
Leave my body with permanent marks
Faded scars and lines
But not a single impression
Of the things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
Let me be tempted
Let me be torn
But make my thoughts pure and not
Morally corrupt in form
Let us sleep tonight
Let innocence lie in our dreams and secret hearts
With burning desire
A need to know and do
The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark
The things some do in the dark

I Wish I Had Some Sorcery
I wish I had some sorcery
That would en-lighten you and me
I wish I had a special spell
That would make us smile and make us tell
Stories that would make us smile
Not fine and fancy just one’s that I’ll
Revisit when I think of you
Not much to ask but hard to do
But life’s not like that so it seems
We live our lives inventing dreams
We talk within ourselves too much
And lose the thrill of closeness’ touch
We weave a wall out of our thoughts
Without the doors that open or
We gain distraction from our past
And fear to let the present last.

Analyze..whose mistake is it
Body has become frail and fragile
Unable to walk by the legs, work by the hands
In the long years even to see through the eyes
That the writings look like scribbler's prescription..
Whose mistake is it possibly..?
Soul has become fain adown
Neither to tenant its sheath nor to flee vibrant
In the long years even to vision through the mind
That it's wheezing inside a blurred description..
Whose mistake is it possibly..?

Im Housin
Coolin on the scene like a horse in a stable
A brother got ill and tried to snatch a fat cable
I stepped back, like it wasnt no thing
I punched him in the jaw with the fat gold ring
I had an ace in the hole when it came to that
Yo z you was packin? you know was strapped
Posse kept rollin it was hard to get with em
So I stepped back, and unbuttoned my lee denim
They kept coming, just like I figured
So I stepped back, and started sprayin niggaz
What a way to go out, out like a sucker
But Im on track, like a long island train
That can head up your mission, suckers who be dissing
Always on my jock like a snake always hissing
Grabbing and tapping me like luther vandross
Take me to the bar for the drink and make a toast
Givin best wishes to the best mc
And when the spot is blown and yo you know its me
Because Im housin
cause Im housin
Because Im housin
cause Im housin
Because Im housin
Because Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
cause Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
cause Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
cause Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
Coolin at a party, no better yet disco
Head feelin mellow from a bottle of cisco
Move...
To crush and fry a sucker mc like crisco
Gimme the cue, check one two
Dont try to come off on me, because you doo-doo
You treatin me the z to the d, like a stepchild
Let me tell you homeboy youre livin foul
Mcs, you know who you are
On the bandwagon why z? cuz you a star
This is the year when the jokers are wild
When a fag cant hack it and try to bite your style
I get hip to the scheme, before it happens
If it gets wild, then I start cappin
But for now, since everythings calm
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
Because Im housin
cause Im housin
cause Im housin
cause Im housin
Because Im housin
Cmon
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
cause Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
cause Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
Because Im housin
Relate to the matter as I drop the bomb
Because Im housin
Relate to the matter, relate to the matter, relate to the matter as I drop the bomb (cause Im housin)
Relate to the matter, relate to the matter, relate to the matter as I drop the bomb (cause Im housin)
Relate to the matter, relate to the matter, relate to the matter as I drop the bomb (cause Im housin)
Relate to the matter, relate to the matter, relate to the matter as I drop the bomb (cause Im housin)

Fancy Colours
Going where the orange sun has never died
And your swirling marble eyes shine
Laughing
Burning blue the light
Bittersweet the drops of life
Memories only fading
Fancy colours
Fancy colours
All we ever did see
When were down at the sea
We see things so very clear at the sea
Fancy colours
Fancy colours
All we ever can do
The morning covered with dew
We do things so very fine in the dew
Fancy colours
Fancy colours
All we ever do hear
But whether were here or there
We hear things so very fine when were there
