Politics, as the word is commonly understood, are nothing but corruptions.

Politics is there the way men and women are there, the way the Atlantic Ocean is there. Sometimes I've written about politics specifically, I mean about politics as it's understood on television and in newspapers.

Politics is not predictions and politics is not observations. Politics is what we do. Politics is what we do, politics is what we create, by what we work for, by what we hope for and what we dare to imagine.

If politics and business fail us, of course the military will be called in. In the developing world, the massive and repeated ecological disasters are quite commonly met by the military.

Prophets of Old
The evangelical movement Got involved with politics after Roe vs. Wade and tied itself to the right and now it needs to go through a divorce in these last days and become universalists like the prophets of old who stood up to the wrongs in Israel based on the Spirit of the Lord and Scripture not politics or ideology. I am done with backing left or right ideologies but standing for God's Word at times takes either way. Abortion is murder but so is letting someone die without healthcare because of a pre-existing illness etc We all need to put our politics on the alttar.
The LEFT wing churches are so crazy they marry gays and don't believe the Bible is the Word of God or only the parts they want are the Word....I will be no ones shill or behave in away that compromises the truth of Gods Word. These fruit cake churches have no repentance
How can we allow a corporation like Monsanto feed our kids cancer and not label its products as GMO's or disclose exactly what it does? We stay quiet because of an ideology yet see pulpits constantly put down radical Islam like the evil is over there? Let's be consistent not prejudice.

Say The Word
Theres a skill, its nothing we could learn at school
With a will to survive beneath this rule
Money thrives as corruptions president
Waste the life of the yong and innocent
But after all and the resistant can be disobeyed
So, when we call, please dont think twice or be afraid
Hey, mister, say something
Say the word - if your eyes are open
Say the word - before this love is broken
(say the word)
The lights are down, but you dont sleep so tight
The words around that we play for keeps tonight
As we all know even the best made plans go wrong sometimes
But if it blows well be the ones they victimize
Hey, mister, say something
(chorus) (chorus) (chorus) (chorus) (chorus)
To put this right
(ha!)

The Hands Of A Teacher
Optimism,
Optimism perished from the face of my earth
And then you came along, came along and swept me away,
She kissed me, as we stood on the edge,
The night made the day as we made for the bridge
It started raining hard, and I saw we may live to regret
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
Pessimism,
Pessimism perished from the face of my earth,
And then you came along, came along and swept me away,
Did you miss me? did you miss me as we walked
Through the pain, attached the chain so you could
See me again
I started asking myself, did I teach you right?
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
Understood why...
You came to me, you broke the bonds,
You set me free
And then the love that you promised me
Came a tumblin tumblin tumblin down
Into my hands...
No I never really understood
No I never really understood why,
Because Ive never been given,
Never been given two tries,
No I never really understood,
Understood why...
So teacher teach me...

Today... 'The Word
Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.
Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.
Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.
Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.
Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
Word of peace and the Word of righteousness
Word of the covenant and Word of love
Word of the Father from heaven above.

But the way people commonly use the word nowadays it means something all of whose parts are mutually interdependent - not only for their mutual action, but for their meaning and for their existence.

The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.
The word is the body, the word is the spirit, the word is being,
The word Not-being.
The word is man, the word is woman,
The Worshipped Great.
The word is the seen and unseen, the word is the existent
And the non-existent.
Know the word, says Kabir,
The word is All-powerful.

Understanding is only misunderstanding
When you say
“I understand”
You simply confess
That you are only trying
To understand
And you affirm
To guard against
Misunderstanding
Though this may not be true
In a technical discussion
This is always true
When attempts are made
To evaluate issues
Pertaining to minds and emotions
Let us admit
We have not understood
Any one and
Any of the thought processes
Associated with any individual
How many of us
Have understood our parents?
How many of us
Have understood our spouses?
How many of us
Have understood our brothers
And sisters?
How many of us
Have understood our sons
And daughters?
How many of us
Have understood our customers,
Employers and employees
Bosses and sub-ordinates
More you are confident
About these understandings
More likely
You have misunderstood them
Do not ever claim
That you have
Understood others
As you now understand
That
Understanding is only
Misunderstanding
