I've never done Botox in my life. But I've probably tried everything else under the sun.

Lips of Greed
I had no idea how thick their lips of greed were!
I just 'assumed' everyone was making a fashion statement.
'Where have you been?
Greed has been all over the news for years.'
So has botox and lip injections.
'Wait a minute!
I thought you said you had been bitten by a 'wasp'! '
I was!
It was the same one who did the injections and the botox.
For thousands.
And I mean THOUSANDS.
'Is that how you managed to lose so much weight?
Because your lips had become so huge?
I didn't want to say anything before.
But your lips are noticeably gigantic.'
Yeah,
But I wanted them to appear natural.
Like the others who you said,
Believed they could attract success.
Because they had 'lips of greed'.
'WHAT?
I was using that as a metaphor.'
A meta-4?
What's a meta for?
'People like you would kill themselves for a dollar.'
I wish you had said something,
Before my lips became big as pillows.
'Don't worry about it!
I am surprised you haven't smothered yourself,
Already.'
Are you suggesting something?

I'm totally not against plastic surgery. I've tried Botox before. That's the only thing that I've done.

Plastic nation
My plastic nation
This new generation
The Botox impression
Cosmo mutilation
Body alteration
Divine rejection
He wants a brow lift
A nasal implant
She wants a tummy tuck
And enhance her buttock
A little cut from here
A little from there
Identity is lost
In their perfect figure
My silicon nation
Cosmo liposuction
Breast augmentation
Transmutation
This new generation
Seeking perfection
With self destruction
Take away the knife
I don’t need dissection
My self-worth is bleeding
Just mend the incision
Here is suture needle
Stitch it carefully
Self esteem doesn’t heal
In Silicon Valley
My plastic nation
This new generation
The Botox impression
Cosmo mutilation
Body alteration
Divine rejection

back To Basics
You may think these words presumption
“U.S. economy is based on consumption”
Perhaps its time to curtail botox & lasiks
Come to our senses, “Go back to basics'

Sometimes I use Botox. Compared to most, I use it very sparingly. One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can't move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin.

Teflon, Botox, Faked Smiles And Debates
These debates between candidates,
Running for elective office to be voted in...
To run for president are becoming sporting events,
These days.
And in the future they will be held in stadiums.
With fees to charge at exorbitant rates.
As more teflon is used to spray...
To ensure nothing sticks and quickly slips away.
While supporters have their faked smiles held in place,
Injected by doses of botox.
That guarantees no one can decide who is qualified.
Whether to impress with image or not.
'Where are the candidates now?
Are they preparing? '
~Well...
One has requested an additional layer of teflon,
To ensure his performance gets the expected response.
And the other is grateful to have another week...
To allow many coats to dry,
Before several more are sprayed on repeatedly.
And those who represent false agendas to present,
To advocate and voice their deceptive opposing views...
Have used up all the botox to appear everyday,
With attempts to sway the public...
As they give updates on the evening news.~
'It seems the future is near and soon to arrive.'
~How important are these debates? ~
'That depends on how you place your bets.
But the clear winners will be...
The tax collectors and the cost of living.
The rich and those who will pocket your fees.
Which of these picks will be to your benefit? '

AH......Wrinkle Wrinkle Little STAR
Wrinkle wrinkle little star
How far from smooth
You really are,
I've wished upon you
Many times
Your only answer
Is groovy lines,
To WRINKLE rid I've tried
Every way it seems
Avocados lemons cucumbers
An' fancy cream
No way will I ever be
A wry sly slinky fox
And masquerade
With a face of Botox,
On second thoughts
I'll obtain a creamy tan,
An' thank the lord
I still have my old man,
Who by my side will always stay
For he, s too sweet to run away,
An' here's another he has one leg
Shorter than the other!

Joker
You can stretch
The face only so much
Make the lines fade
For a while
But they sag later
And then stretched
Some more
Inject the botox
Lips fuller
Eyes wider
Then they sag later
And then stretched
Some more
Stretch and pull
Inject again
Stretch and pull
Some more
Until the navel
Is the dimple
On the chin -
Joker.

Suicide Note
One day you will arrive.
Night will enter in your pores,
in your bones,
like a baby trapped in a borewell,
crying, striking,
thumping.
On each table, salt moaned
for a classical taste.
A pink moon was smothered
in a virgin bed.
Death walked in a sensual style.
A black discharge continued
from the areolae.
Botox failed to uplift
the sagging breasts.
A thallium capsule broke on tongue.
There was no suicide note.

Euthanasia
I was not ready
when the gift arrived.
Today I cannot share my laugh,
my tears
with you.
The debt of ashes
was climbing up.
Clouds outside,
clouds inside.
My room was full of friends.
Wind was coming in,
wind was going out.
And I was trying to convince them
about euthanasia.
What was I dreaming? Mutation versus creation?
Botox? Somebody removing the wrinkles?
Augmenting the breasts with implants?
Black insanity?
Death was another name of birth?
Now I was transfixed:
Love birds were feeding their kids!

With Eyes Remembered
It's not a sin for those,
Who distance themselves...
As far as they can,
From the ticking of a clock.
Is it?
What about those who make attempts,
To get that ticking to be stopped?
With confirmations sought,
That an aging process...
Has completely forgotten them!
And as long as they moisturize,
And Sun block their skins...
They will keep Mother Nature guessing,
For years without end.
However...
With suggestions made,
To avoid further Botox treatments...
To allow a natural appearance,
A chance to return to their faces again!
Maybe with eyes remembered,
Attached to a recognized grin.
This alone will silence the complaining,
That aging ungracefully on some has shown.
'Yes...
Of course I remember you!
You and my grandmother were good friends.'
~No!
Larry?
You and I went to high school together.~
'OH!
Oh...
OH?
Uh...
Oh!
It's a beautiful day,
Isn't it? '

Love Under The Dollar
In kindle dreams her life retreats
With Botox swagger
And gel filled glory
A plastic rose
Hiding a once varicose being
A flower with a sting
Whose predatory ways
Leach off this sexual forest
Of spar infested vanity
Where youth is for the innocent
And cougars dine on essence divine
With triffid fingers and mosquito convulsions
Of unspoken ways for
The dollar will always pay
And when her thirst has gone
The dark of reality descends
Hiding the face of yesterday
Whose masquerade is left on morning pillow
A Monet impression to greet the light
The camera is stopped
The potions are in a queue
For her vanity waits
Another audience with snow white
This imposter among the weeds of creation
And in the balcony the fashion clones swoon
Sculptured dolls under butchers knife
Waiting with credit card lines
To feed on groped applause
And we will envy them
We that live in the mud of this life
We Parasites and leaches
We Saints and Pulpit Preachers
For we all envy things
That we cannot be
Envy things that
Come in dollar dreams
That buys the illusion
That one day you will envy me

Still Right For Me
Facing painful truths without getting
upset: we are taught youth should
last forever, an ideal to be achieved
through botox, hormone replacement
therapy and plastic surgery; but just
as I never succumbed to make-up,
I‘m failing in my duty to stay young
It is your right to be angry with me
for not being younger in an age of
increasing sex appeal, we're taught
to believe in physical performance
only, females are expected to fulfil
male fantasies based on artificial
acting in adult movies - therefore
You're right to blame me for being
a failure; I never became the siren
you were taught to dream of - BUT
I am joyful knowing you were just
right for me, the romance shared
was perfect- I'm sorry you were
upset when I told you this, sorry
That you feel I'm failing you today
because you are still right for me
and will always be…

Lily, Picasso & The Golden Mean
The bride wore knee sox.
Kissing the ground her mother walked on,
Taking me back in time to a place
Like no other I’ve ever seen before—
Where sitting on a park bench,
Carl Jung was eating ice cream
Wondering if he had enough traveler’s checks,
He hadn’t been to Phoenix but he would someday—
He thought about the story of Cinderella
And how the myth had grown
From one of war & disaster
To one of victory & incest in the dark,
She bit her father’s earlobe & swallowed
His diamond earring
Should she tell her mother?
Who worshipped him like a God?
But she kept her silence & made great paintings
In the barn, murals too big to mention
& Her lesbian lover crept in from the neighbor’s farm,
A dusty fairy with broken teeth
And scraped kneecaps
Just like her sister,
Her identical twin with Botox frozen face—
