Sonnet: A Lost Friendship
You were my friend then: now almost stranger!
Our friendship appeared once very glorious;
What happened meantime, gives me great anger;
Our friendship no longer remains serious.
Fool you were, to be misled by others,
Who drove a giant wedge ’midst our friendship;
Cut off is our friendship, which me bothers;
A nadir has come in our relationship.
What years of intimacy have been lost?

Plastic Pity
Within some minds,
It is okay to be criticized.
And in some minds closed and confined...
What others do to them,
Is perfectly fine.
And yet there are those minds,
Behind times trying to define...
How best to belittle,
With a showing of unconsiousness...
A plastic pity that will fit,
All occasions that will suit...
A showing of a care-less-ness,

Friendship is love,

Gnawing Anger
She sat looking at me,
Not listening to a word.
Every time we talked, she
Said my opinion was absurd—
You should have seen my face;
The anger I showed was a disgrace.
For years, I have lived with such anger,
Gnawing anger, the kind that lingers
Like roadkill. To be sure, I am not stranger
To rage. Its long bony fingers
Have touched my heart many times,
