I know when I go outside, there'll be a van or two and they'll probably follow us four out of seven days a week, trying to get something. But I'm just going across town and I know they're just wasting their day, so it doesn't bother me anymore.

Wasting Time
in between dim hours
in between dull days
i'm out counting flowers
i'm still chasing faith
mistake me for a pilot
mistake me for a face you know
consider this old conscience
let no trouble come my way
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, we'll make our plans
wasting time
it's you alone i wish to free
on you alone i'll focus
it's not the change i wish to believe
this coming of the locusts
skipping like a skimming stone
skimming the bad chapters
swimming thru your tides alone
swimming on your laughter, we're after
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, let's take the chance
wasting time
you and i, we understand
time is not for making
but just because we don't have a clue
doesn't mean we're faking, we're wasting
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, we'll make our plans
wasting time

Waltz
If you don't have a song
To sing you're okay
You know how to get along
Humming
Hmmm
If you don't have a date
Celebrate
Go out and sit on the lawn
And do nothing
'Cause it's just what you must do
Nobody does it anymore
No I don't believe in the wasting of time,
But I don't believe that I'm wasting mine
If you don't have a point to make
Don't sweat it
You'll make a sharp one being so kind
And I'd sure appreciate it
Everyone else's goal's to get big headed
Why should I follow that beat being that I'm
Better than fine

It Doesn't Matter Any More
(Paul Anka)
There you go and baby here am I
Oh well, you left me here so I could sit and cry
Will you apologize what have you done to me
Well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
Do you remember baby last September
How you held me tight each and every night
You was so dazy how you drove me crazy
But I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
There's no use in me of cryin'
I've done everything and now I'm sick of tryin'
I've thrown away my nights
And wasted all my days over you.
Well, you'll go your way and I'll go mine
Now and forever till the end of time
I'll find somebody new baby we'll say we're through
You won't matter anymore.
--- Instrumental ---
There's no use in me of cryin'
I've done everything and now I'm sick of tryin'
I've thrown away my nights
And wasted all my days over you.
You won't matter anymore.
You won't matter anymore...

Don't Let It Bother You
Everytime I see you,
You appear to have nothing on your mind.
As if you are happy all the time.
To me this doesn't make sense.
'Don't let it bother you.
You should see me when I am in a good mood.
On those days I feel ecstatic.
But I'll settle for just being happy.
Some things are out of my control.'
What you've said doesn't make sense to me.
'Don't let it bother you.
You appear to have enough as it is on your mind.
And I don't want to imagine,
What that must be like.'

Eccentric doesn't bother me. 'Eccentric' being a poetic interpretation of a mathematical term meaning something that doesn't follow the lines - that's okay.

The Last Seven Days
You dont wake up
You (? ) wake up
Theres someone hiding in the dark
Who is pulling his country apart
Ive had seven days
And we want forget
The last seven days
And then its over
One week in chains
And then we are free
Seven days alone
And then were going home
Who wants a war ?
Who wants a firestorm ?
In the brightest day
Or the blackest night
Who are the ones who will fight ?
Ive had seven days
And we want forget
The last seven days
And then its over
(chorus) (? )
When will you learn
Youve had your turn
Watch the go rush round and round
Watching them burning he town
Ive had seven days
And we want forget
The last seven days
And then its over
One week in chains
And then we are free
Seven days alone
And then were going home

Suicide Lullaby
This is you...
You're causing me to bleed.
And you have no apologies
For whom you inflict fear into.
Seeing what isn't here.
I'm begging you to leave.
Can't you see I'm on my knees?
I've tried and tried so many times.
But you're still here...
Making me bleed...
All over the linoleum...
Thank God it's easy to clean.
Take this pain away from me
'Cause this Novacaine
Doesn't work worth a damn.
And I'm just wasting my time
On my suicide lullaby...
I walk towards the light
As your soul replaces mine.
I reach out to feel
But then it all disappears again.
Just another figment
Of my wild imagination.
I guess I need those pills again.
It's time to fulfill my addiction.
Take this pain away from me
'Cause this Novacaine
Doesn't work worth a damn.
And I'm just wasting my time
On my suicide lullaby...
I try to stop the voices
From telling me what to do
In every situation.
But they are persistant.
And they can't hear my screams...
They don't hear my screams anymore...
Take this pain away from me
'Cause this Novacaine
Doesn't work worth a damn.
And I'm just wasting my time
On my suicide lullaby...
And I'm committed to this crime...
With my suicide lullaby...

Last Week
Oh, the new-chum went to the backblock run,
But he should have gone there last week.
He tramped ten miles with a loaded gun,
But of turkey of duck saw never a one,
For he should have been there last week,
They said,
There were flocks of 'em there last week.
He wended his way to a waterfall,
And he should have gone there last week.
He carried a camera, legs and all,
But the day was hot and the stream was small,
For he should have gone there last week,
They said,
They drowned a man there last week.
He went for a drive, and he made a start,
Which should have been made last week,
For the old horse died of a broken heart;
So he footed it home and he dragged the cart --
But the horse was all right last week,
They said,
He trotted a match last week.
So he asked all the bushies who came from afar
To visit the town last week
If the'd dine with him, and they said "Hurrah!"
But there wasn't a drop in the whisky jar --
You should have been here last week,
He said,
I drank it all up last week!

dissed
Your turned back does not bother me!
What bothers me is your stupidity...
And your accepted ignorance!
You sink like those who refused to be told,
They've reached the limits of competence.
You think like those who are holding on very bold...
To lifestyles and thoughts,
Dropping quick into 'sinkholes'!
Your turned back doesn't both me!
What bothers me is many see
A definition of life that doesn't define clearly.
And when truth is ignored...
Because it upsets those abhorred,
I'm curious what 'freedom' is seen that frees?
Something isn't mixing like it ought to be!
Your turned back doesn't bother me!
As much as my lack of concern...
Seems to bother you!
And I have lots of that to offer.
I do not miss this dismissing I'VE 'dissed'!

Imagining the Reunion
How long have I been here
A day
A week
I've forgotten what you look like.
How, when we were together
You
and
Me
What was it that you use to say
To get me to laugh that way?
Can you remember?
Nope
Not
Me.
How was it you would look at me
And
I
Understood.
Every day brings something new
And, so does every week.
So, now,
How are you?
Anything new at all?
Me,
I'm not the same person.
I've mended some
From our fall.
The bruises don't bother me
Or the pain
Anymore.
I'm numb now..
And dull now,
And weary of another fall.
So, tell me
What ails you?
Why did you decide to call?
Yea, well, we all wish at times
Things could be different.
But, what's the point of it all?
Can
You
Remember?
Because I managed to forget.
Are you serious
When you ask me
If there are any regrets?
How long have I been here
Not
Too
Long
It sometimes seems..
But what are years to someone
Who is come undone
At the seams.

Matter Of Time
Just a matter of time, till you run out of breath
Money mountains you climb, never hedging your bets
But your luck can run out, youd better watch your step
Just a matter of time
Just a matter of days, till the factorys done
When they shut down the lathes cause the work has all gone
And nobody cares cause theres no-one
Its just a matter of days
I know what you mean and I suppose I agree
Im a bit pushed for time, please dont bother me
Take you guidance elsewhere, cause Ive heard it before
In case is not very clear, I dont care anymore
Just a matter of hours until youre forgotten
Your pushing up flowers, and youre used to the rot
So that was your life, didnt manage a lot
Just a matter of hours
I know what you mean and I suppose I agree
Im a bit pushed for time, please dont bother me
Take you guidance elsewhere, cause Ive heard it before
In case is not very clear, I dont care anymore
I know.... ....care anymore (repeat till end...)

No More
Your laughter
Isn't funny
Doesn't make me smile
Anymore
You treat me like dirt
You've stepped on
In your new shoes
So you smiling
Doesn't make me the image
Anymore
I end up in tears
When you laugh
I'd rather laugh
When you cry
You don't make my heart skip a beat
Anymore
It's well and truely gone
Overboard
So far in the distance
That you'll never see my shadow
Again
There's no point in
'Loving you'
Anymore

A week, a month, a year
How long is this waiting?
A week, a month, a year
I can’t count the days anymore
How long is this yearning?
A week, a month, a year
I barely feel the difference
How long is this goodbye?
A week, a month, a year
Is the end is forever?

The constant weep.
I weep
That my mother doesn’t know that I weep
Over my neglect of her in her last days.
I weep
That my father doesn’t know that I weep
For my negligence showed in his last days.
The time
I redeem myself of this constant grief
My children will be there to follow suit.

Traveling is definitely something that your average 17-year-old doesn't get to do. One week we're in Japan, one week we're in Australia, one week we're back home going to football games.

Goodbye
I'm waiting until day you leave
It makes my life easier
Today I realized that I'm
Happy I didn't go out with you and
I can move on
Goodbye
I'm not leaving you anything so
Don't hope for it
Just leave this town forever
I don't want to see you ever again
You change me
You never care about me
You just want to hurt me
I don't regret it anymore
This time I'm just going out there to
Discovered other things I been missing
I'm not going back to you anymore
Goodbye
Your jealous it's not stopping me from dating other guys
I'm strong and confident again
I change what I don't like about myself and
This will make me feel different and new me
I'm not going tears or feel hurt anymore
Just go and please don't come back
I'm sick of your drama and attitude
I'm done with what keep going on over and over
I hate your games you playing
You change so much that I stop loving you
You keep rude my life
You got nothing else better to do
I just want you gone forever
I should know better
Goodbye
Just leave town and
I can't wait until that day come
You holding me back and
I'm not going let you do that to me
I give up so much for you
I'm wasting my life on you and
Worry what you going do next
Now I know better
I can't believe any of this
I can forget you, be happy and smile again
You coming in my life was bad luck
Goodbye

I' m Okay
It took me years
to get this way
what you did
doesn't bother me
anymore an
I'm
okay. I thought
for years that
I was unfix-able
broken, but
Really
it was all
in my head.i
fixed my heart
it was
Not
impossible to do.
now I'm living my life
free from pain
see, I am
Okay

Your Poppa Don't Mind
Give it a word, give it a try
Why don't you sleep out, stop living high
You're on your own, your making ?bed?
Now time for wasting, just look ahead
Your poopa don't mind what you do or say
You can't surprise him anymore
He's got a reputation and he don't know ?fad?
Your poppa don't mind at all
He's getting old, he's getting late
It's soon tomorrow, so celebrate
Bring it out, and go to town
Before you're thinking/faking, ?sell him now?
Your poopa don't mind what you do or say
You can't surprise him anymore
He don't believe in heaven like a good man should
Your poppa don't mind at all
Find him out, he's half a fun
When you find out, don't try to run
If you know, then you'll be gone
And if you don't know, it's still to come
Your poopa don't mind what you do or say
You can't surprise him anymore
He talked about his women and his old school ?tie?
Your poppa don't mind at all
You can't surprise him anymore
He don't believe in heaven like a good man should
Your poppa don't mind at all
Your poppa don't mind at all
Your poppa don't mind at all
